Tony and Krystin came highly recommended to us. We have in turn recommended them to friends and…read moreneighbors who are thinking of selling/buying a home in the future. When you put a house on the market, you have a lot of questions, a lot of concerns, and a lot of fears. How long will it take for my house to sell? What do I have to do to get it ready? How do I coordinate selling my house and buying a new house? What if the appraisal comes in low? What if the buyer backs out? What if? What if? Tony and Krystin were great at answering our questions and explaining every scenario that could happen and what action we could take. Selling and buying a house is probably one of the most stressful actions we will ever undertake. I felt that Tony and Krystin shouldered much of that burden. When we received the inspection report for our current home, Tony and Krystin worked with us to remedy the items the buyers wanted fixed. They not only recommended great workers to make the repairs, they also made the arrangements to have the work scheduled and paid for. Tony even came himself to help with some of the repairs and made sure all the work was completed properly. After our house sold after two days on the market, Tony took us house hunting. At each house, he pointed out highs and lows. We found our new house in one day. When our new house was inspected, Tony came with us and explained what we should have the sellers remedy and what we should fix on our own. When you think about how much commission you have to pay when selling/buying a house, it makes you hesitate. Tony and Krystin work very hard every step of the way. By the time everything is said and done, you feel as if they earned EVERY penny. They are not the type of realtors who sit back and tell you what to do. They are fully involved at every step, and they truly care about your investment. I highly, highly recommend their services.

Communication through email or phone results in quick responses. Jane and Sandra at the Upper Arlington office are wonderful to work with, and maintenance is quick to respond to requests. I had to have them come out late in the evening to fix a broken shower faucet which would not shut off, and they were there within half an hour. The few issues that I did have: - They were constantly showing our building for sale, and did not always give the appropriate 24-hour notice. - There was a daycare, tons of playground equipment, two dogs and two ferrets next door in a no-pets, no-businesses building. - They do not enforce the parking restrictions -- people are always parking in the driveway between the garages, blocking others.

I only owed the rent for that current month, and I attempted to pay it, but my payment was refused. Instead of working with me to resolve the situation, they chose to move forward in a way that felt unnecessary and unfair. I am a disabled veteran raising my grandchildren, and I was doing everything I could to meet my responsibilities. I wasn't asking for a free pass--I was trying to pay my rent. The lack of empathy, professionalism, and respect I experienced was extremely disappointing. I understand that apartment complexes have policies, but there is a difference between enforcing a policy and treating people without compassion. In today's economy, many hardworking people face temporary hardships. Management should remember that residents are human beings, not just rent payments. A little kindness and understanding can make all the difference.

There were some fixes needed during our stay. The management and maintenance team responded to our requests in a very timely manner. For example, There were two ceiling fans that makes weird squeaking noises in the house. After we reported the issue they immediately contacted the property owner and brought two brand new fans for installation. No hassle, no extra charge, no back and forth arguments. We are very glad that we chose this company instead of renting from a private landlord. I think they are very professional and have a high quality of customer service.

The house was advertised to be noise-proof but I can hear the neighbor's conversations. Not to mention the sounds of their dog walking around the house. It's not the neighbor's fault-- they are just living their lives. But wow, I have lived under at least 5 different housing management teams before and it has never been this bad. Maintenance requests do not get done until couple months later, and even if they come over to fix the said problem, I can't tell that it was properly fixed. I honestly can not WAIT until I can move out of this house. EDIT: Bijan (the landlord) and I had a conversation. We came to the consensus that there was quite a bit of miscommunication on both sides of the party. Bijan definitely cares about the tenants' well-being. Once a distinct & straight-forward maintenance system is placed, I have no problems with this management company.
