Heart of savin hill. Best pizza and wings in the area . Very clean restaurant, a friendly service lady at the counter. It's very nice. Fresh slices, ready to go I was in on Dorchester day and he had a special going on small Cheese Pizza for it. It's six dollars is seventeen cent.. it's a Boston thing. If you know you know. I would like to go there and try other things next time. I'm around in that area.

Hawaiian pizza with shredded chicken

Love love love Pantry's Hawaiian pizza (Aloha). Instead of cubed chicken, they offer shredded chicken. Make sure to get it well done and PRO TIP, add jalapeños. You'll thank me later! Pair it was an order of their wings. Low key, one of the crispiest wings around Dorchester. I tried their garlic Parmesan dip on the side, I was surprised. It was so good lol

Half cheese and half cheese and basil pizza

This is more of a 3.5/5 than a 4/5, but as it's definitely better than a 3/5, I'm giving it a 4/5 since half points aren't possible on Yelp. The bottom line is that the pizza here is good - not great, but good. It's certainly not bad. It's above average but nothing too impressive. That being said, I did have a pretty plain order, and there are no complaints. 1/2 Cheese pizza: This was above average - the crust was crunchy, but a bit too crunchy for me. It had some chew but not enough for my preference, and it didn't really have that much taste (though at least it wasn't burnt). The cheese and sauce ratios were on point, and the sauce had a nice, deep flavor that puts it above plain marinara sauce. A solid cheese pizza that could have had a better crust, but it wasn't terrible. 1/2 Cheese and basil pizza: The basil did a lot of work here and it felt like an entirely different pizza from the cheese half. Maybe it was the mix of the basil and the sauce, but this really had a deeper flavor that tasted distinctly Italian. The crust was the same however, and it let this pizza down a bit, but I'd highly recommend adding basil to your pizza here. When it comes down to it, this was an above average pizza. There weren't too many substantial complaints, but there wasn't anything super distinctive that would make this a pizza I'd travel for. Still, if I were in the area, I'd probably go here again. 3.5/5!

Large ($10) steak and cheese with extra cheese. Do u see ANY cheese? Or steak for that matter???
dewi s.

Very disappointed in my order today. Food came on time and order was correct. However, for a $11 steak and cheese sub (with extra cheese) I was extremely upset with what we received!!! Photo attached. Can't even see anything resembling cheese, and from the second I picked up the sandwich before unwrapping it I could tell something was off. There's hardly ANY MEAT!! And my pizza didn't have ANY of the toppings I ordered and PAID FOR! Just a plain old cheese pizza. Tried to call back but no answer. I used to love this place! Would rant and rave about it to others. But slowly with each order, one or two things go wrong and I'm slowly learning my lesson. Sad times :(

Chicken Finger Mango habanero plate with French fries and house salad. Sauce on the side

Pantry Pizza is one or the best sub shops in the Savin Hill area. No questions asked. I have been ordering from them for almost 8 years. The drivers are excellent and courteous also. Keep up the good work!

Used to be my go to spot. Now it seems they put sugar in the sauce which ruins it for me.

The hours got away from me and I had limited options. I ordered a salad from Pantry Pizza and the next day was violently sick. Never again.

It ended up being one of the best choices of our trip. Pros: The atmosphere is intimate in the best way, and the staff was incredibly attentive from start to finish. The price point was great, especially considering that the food was absolutely phenomenal--truly the best meal we had in Boston. The place was packed for a random Wednesday night, which says a lot. Cons: There honestly aren't many. If I had to pick one, it would be that the restaurant is definitely on the smaller side, so seating can feel a bit tight. Also, watching people attempt parallel parking outside was unintentionally hilarious--not a complaint about the restaurant, just free entertainment. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend giving Molinari's a try. They were amazing, and if (or really, when) we come back to Boston, we'll definitely be visiting again.

Pros: great size, fair price, really cool flavor combinations. Cons: not generous with the "fancier" toppings (like the meatballs on my pizza), flavorless crust, too floppy, overwhelming garlic on mine. I think we would give them another chance because I really haven't found any pizza places that impress me here and they are great price and size for sharing.

We also ordered the tomato pie with custom toppings, but the hot honey was a stand out topping and I would highly recommend it. If the pizza looks greasy... it is NOT! Never had the opportunity to visit the OG location in Connecticut but I must say... the food here…read moreis really legit. We've been here 3 times now and have had the chance to try a bunch of different dishes and we haven't been disappointed yet! Here are the things we've tried so far (as of 2/2026). The Tre - $16.50 (for 3): This without a doubt is one of the best values you can have here! We've tried and recommend the following: - Fried Mozzarella - Nicely seasoned and great flavor. A bit heavy (obviously!). - Crispy Calamari - Also well seasoned and the Calabrian aioli pairs perfectly. - Italian Wings - Juicy and tender! The ranch sauce is also quite good. - Meatballs - Tender, flavorful and not too dense! Caesar Salad - $13.25 - Great price for the amount you get. Their dressing is also made in house and can actually be quite strong, flavor wise. We've found it best to have it on the side and add it ourselves. The first time we had it, it was a perfect amount but the 2nd time it was a bit overpowering when they over dressed it. Mozzarella and Tomato Sauce Pie - $16.50 (small) - Their pizzas here are phenomenal. The charcoal oven is really what makes a huge difference as the flavor it imparts onto the dough is superb. New Haven Original Clam - $21.50 (small) - Great pizza with ample amounts of clams. Would also recommend. Calabrian Stinger - $22.50 (small) - This pizza is quite saucy and very atypical when it comes to a pizza. HOWEVER, the flavor is stupendous with the hot peppers and hot honey. Would definitely recommend but be warned that it's a bit droopy from all the topics and sauce. Rigatoni Vodka - $23 - Great flavor in the sauce. Huge fan of it and would recommend. Do note that we were able to sub our pasta from rigatoni to fettuccini (from the Tagliatelle Bolognese). Speaking of which... Tagliatelle Bolognese - $24 - Great ragu sauce and not too heavy! Very fresh. Sally's Burger - $17 - Good burger but nothing that special. Price is great though. Vodka Parm - $17 - Again, the value is unbeatable and you get a ton of fries with the dish. It's basically a pizza folded in half with crispy chicken, mozzarella and their fantastic vodka sauce. You won't be left hungry if you can finish this! Overall, this is our go to when a pizza craving hits. The vibe here is also great with high ceilings and attentive wait staff. Would 100% recommend.

The chicken parm sub was just alright too, and the cheese pizza was, unsurprisingly, the best part of the meal TEXTURE: 3/5 - fresh hot pizza and a thick chicken parm. Back on the tuna though, the chewy sub roll did not help its case lol PRICE: 4/5 - total came to $28 SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - satisfied us for lunch SERVICE: 3/5 - walked in at 2pm on a Sunday. I hope you didn't want basil on your Caprese sandwich…read more This place does a very common grift in the northeast where they sell a "Caprese" and specifically list basil in the description of the sandwich then try to sneakily substitute arugula. Arugula tastes NOTHING like basil! If you (understandably) can't keep fresh basil in your restaurant, you forfeit the right to offer a whole menu item dedicated to the deliciousness of fresh basil...which the Caprese surely is. The ultimate slap in the face was bringing the sandwich back and asking for basil then getting a snarky answer and a tiny plastic dish containing the equivalent of 1/2 of a basil leaf.
