I would like to preface this by saying I am not someone who writes reviews. But I'd be crazy not to write a review about my experience here. Today is my birthday, and usually my family and I go all out and have dinner at some overpriced italian restaurant, but this year I decided I wanted to stay in and eat pizza. My husband and I are new to the neighborhood, we moved here a few months ago to be closer to our son and his family who live in Roxbury, Ma. We have tried at least 30 different pizza places in the boston area. And Boston Pizza takes the cake! My daughter in law is very ... picky. She is specific about her food and asks hundreds of questions before ordering ANYTHING. The young lady on the phone was very sweet and answered every question she had. I was surprised at her patience. I mean my daughter in law asks 5 questions about EVERYTHING, it's ridiculous. She even laughed at my husbands jokes, which aren't funny at all. But hey, atleast she raised his confidence ‍. The fries were perfectly crisp, and the pizza was to die for! The crust is perfect, and the pizza tasted fresh. I'm not sure how they make this but please share the recipe. My son opted for the wings and he loved them. After stealing a few, I agree. The honey chipotle is amazing. My husband ordered the fish platter with onion rings which were amazing. And finally - the pickiest, most critical judge of all, my daughter in law ... *Cue the scary music*. We all watched in anticipation. So far, everyone enjoyed their food. Including our dog, Bella, who wouldn't stop stealing the fries that we dropped. And to all of our surprise (Bella was shocked as well) she loved it! Probably more than any of us considering she went around stealing some of our food. Can you believe it? The harshest critic in Massachusetts couldn't get enough of this delicious food. This has been one of the best birthdays of my entire life. And at a fraction of the price! I appreciate a place that's open late. But after ordering a couple times, and being super disappointed in the quality of food, I prob will look for some other place late night. Updating my review from three years ago. Every time I've ordered delivery from here it's been wonderful! I guess it had been a while, because today I discovered that they have Louisiana fried chicken now! Let's face it, good fried chicken in Boston is hard to come by. I ordered an eight piece with two sides for my husband and I. We loved it! Definitely made fresh in house, no question. Even the breast meat was tender and practically fell apart. The meat had a slight pinkish tint which shows that it's marinated, not undercooked. For our sides, we had curly fries and mac and cheese bites...yum! I ordered 3 fisherman's player with curly fries and cole slaw. the forgot all 3 cole slaws. everything was overcooked and dry. it was inedible. the fries, the calamar, the fish and the shrimp were so dry and rubber. the only thing that was edible were the scallop. I spend over $100 dollars to only eat 4 scallops. I would recommend that you refrain from ordering from this place. shame on you people! read more

Order arrived well before the announced ETA. Good move! 1st burger. Lettuce, pickles, hots,mushrooms, light ketchup w/white American cheese. Burger Medium Well. Absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. Food arrived hot and fresh. The driver was cool they followed directions and the regular French Fries argreat 2nd burger. Lettuce tomatoes, mushrooms, pickles ketchup, mustard and white American cheese. also Medium Well. The burger was delicious. Just ordered delivery and it came earlier than expected. The Buffalo chicken pizza is one of the best I've had in and around Boston. The chicken is grilled and not overly cooked or dry with a tasty Buffalo sauce. We also ordered mozzarella sticks and mango habanero boneless tenders. Also hot and delicious. You can tell they know how to cook their chicken. Will definitely be ordering again. Maybe we'll try the fried chicken next time based on other reviews. My only reason for 4 star review is that I specifically requested contact delivery and had delivery notes for where to drop off the food in my order, but the driver called and I had to meet him to get the food and was unprepared and without a mask. This place is underrated as hell. I don't know if there is new ownership or something but I do not feel like past reviews reflect current quality. This is my neighborhood pizza place at the minute and I have eaten many, many items off this menu. My favorites: the pepperoni pizza, perfectly salty and cheesy, a little sweetness to that sauce, all around great slice, cheeseburger sub, chicken fingers, chicken wings (dry and crispy, haven't tried the sauces yet), the cheeseburger dinner and the steak and cheese. I am not sure about the pizza, or the popular steak & cheese subs but the slowly prepared Cape Verde Louisiana Fried chicken was delightful and not packed with heavy spices or preservatives. While they're on the pricier side, this is my go to spot. There is seriously no dish that disappoints. Their pizza is the best and even when I have people over and order from here days later they ask "where was that pizza from?". Every dish is great, the delivery is always incredibly fast and usually faster than the estimated time. The drivers are so friendly. I have been ordering from this place for years and it's just my go to. There are other places in the neighborhood that are less expensive but they're hit or miss (and often times miss). Whereas Boston Pizza & Grill is always on point. Just realized after the hundreds of times I've ordered from them I've never posted a review thanking them so wanted to be sure I did that. A great addition to Upham's Corner and hopefully the beginning of a real resurgence to the neighborhood. Stopped by for dinner and enjoyed the open-air seating. Friendly staff and a varied menu of appetizers, pizzas/sandwiches, and desserts. Pizza was great. Save room for dessert, about 8 different kinds of fro-yo with fresh fruit and candy toppings. Spoke to the owner who mentioned outdoor seating will be coming, along with later hours and possibly even breakfast in the future. I ordered a turkey sandwich with Mayonnaise and cheese with a steak and cheese Calzone. I put the top delivery charge you could offer (I believe 18%). After an hour of waiting we called and they tried to tell us we pressed pick up. We argued and said fine send it we're starving. I have a toddler and wife. The woman called back to ask what we wanted on our turkey sandwich (not club or anything like that). We said just Mayonnaise and American cheese. When it got here they never gave the driver our tip, so I paid him twice. He even knew they made a mistake because it says delivery charge on the receipt not pick up. The food was freezing cold but most importantly, there was no turkey sandwich. They gave us a cold bacon and cheese sandwich. When I called back she tried to say I ordered turkey club and I kept saying "no we did not but even if we did, where the *expletive* is the turkey. She kept going in circles trying fix it for the third hour or so since we called and I told them to keep the money. Never ever order from here. read more

Ordered via Uber Eats last night and omg! Should've tried this place a long time ago. I knew their reviews were hit or miss but my boyfriend and I decided to give them a shot. He ordered the chicken wing dinner and I got a steak and cheese sub. Amazing! Bread was toasted the way I like it. The wings were so crispy and they were still steaming hot when it got delivered. They definitely cater to who they feel like I spent 27.00 on two orders of food one with a drink and didn't get the drink cause didn't want watered down fountain drink and wanted a can instead no cans and I guess couldn't bother giving a bottle instead.
