Absolutely treacherous. My car spun out and needed towed from Girard to Niles. The police called Pantalone towing. I called them the same day to see when I could pick up my car and the man who answered was incredibly unprofessional when he stated I had "racked up a very high bill" and he implied I couldn't afforx it. I said I knew it wasn't going to be cheap but obviously I needed my car back. He said they were closed and to call back tomorrow, so I did. When I called the next morning, the same man answered and said "If I charged you what the state said I should, you'd be down north of three grand. What can you afford?" I had never heard someone ask that. I asked what the least he could charge was and he said $1,000. I didn't really have an option as they had my car!! I drove an hour and a half to get my car and only when I was about 40 minutes out did they call me back and tell me it was cash payment only. So I had to stop at an ATM on the way to get cash when they started complaining about me being late. When I got there, I asked for an itemized receipt and all I got was a receipt that had $1,000 written next to "Miscellaneous charges." I'm really considering legal action because this just does not feel right. I didn't know what to do in the moment as I'd never been in an accident or needed my car towed, so I didn't know that wasn't how it worked. If I ever need my car towed, I will be specifically requesting they DON'T use Pantalone Towing. Absolutely awful. read more

2 hour wait, then charged $225 for 11 mile tow from Leavittsburg @ West Market and Leavitt road to RD Banks in Champion.

Had my sxs towed from a flat yard 60 feet off the road to there lot and it sat there for 5 almost 6 days and they proceeded to tell my my bill was almost 1700. 400 for leaving the yard 200 in fuel 300 because it was not on the road 175 gate fee 510 for storage and and almost 200 for the tow itself from champion to Niles. This place is an absolute joke. read more

Flat tire on the highway. 20 minutes after estimated arrival time they canceled. Claimed there was a bad accident they had to get to.

Worse place to work for workers are rude dispatch had no respect very disrespectful worse place I ever worked at do not recommend it I had way more knowledge on cars and I was treated like I don't know how to do my job read more

We had an emergency family situation and received wonderful assistance from Pantalone. Without going into personal details they were very responsive and helpful above and beyond expectations. Maybe that is why for many years the people in our community say that Pantalone is "the one to call" when you need their services. read more

NEVER ever use this company! they charged $606 for a 1/4 mile tow. when questioned they stated that when they answer a police tow for a accident that their fees start at $400! absolute price gouging and they should be put out of business for such barbaric treatment of people! don't give them your business! read more

I was traveling from Youngstown to Columbus Ohio today. I got a flat tire on I-80. We exited the highway and got to a gas station. I called AAA and they told me it would be an hour for someone to arrive. Ten minutes later the truck arrived and got me back on the road. The young man they sent was great. Horrible. They had no respect for the vehicle whatsoever and I was genuinely nervous while moving the car. Not professional at all.

The hubby and I were passing through Ohio when our car broke down just outside of Niles, OH. We were given the name Pantelone by someone, and are so glad that we called them for a tow. Dan the driver was extremely hospitable. He wasn't able to get us up and running, but brought us to the auto repair shop that he uses, and pointed out locations of interest on the way, so we had things to do while waiting fo the car. Turns out they will keep the car overnight, so Dan gave us a ride to a hotel, and again, pointed out the restaurants in the area. Being stranded is horrible, but the Pantelone team really seems to go out of their way to make sure they take care of their customers. read more

I wish I could do NO STARS. After having my car towed from Liberty to Austintown for a simple repair, the mechanic called to tell me that the tow truck driver dropped my car off the back of the flat bed tow truck. I have never heard of this happening before. They wanted to fix it and repair it, of course a car will never be the same when this happens, so i decided to trade it in and got a ridiculously low trade in value for the car because they wrecked it. Do not trust them to move your car or you will get screwed like I did, or worse. read more

I'm very impressed with this towing company. I had a tire blowout I called the company and Jessica who answered the phone, was so competent ,and professional, calmed me right down. My wife's car was towed on Friday 11/22 for expired tags. When we picked up the car yesterday (front wheel drive 2x4 Jeep Compass), we were told it was $195 because they had to use a flat bed since it's a Jeep. Upon researching on internet forums and reading the owner's manuel for the Jeep, there is no reason they could not have used a regular tow truck (aside from the obvious reason of wanting to charge us more). If they weren't sure whether they could tow it or not, maybe they should have asked us some details on the vehicle or done a little research. I know nothing about cars and it took me about 5 minutes to find out it can be towed. read more

Will steal your money. Horrible people. Paid to have things repaired their towing broke, so they made two different amounts. One for the towing and then to have it fixed at their repair shop, or pay for another tow. Horrible, rude people. read more

Wanted $350 cash to tow a vehicle 2.5 miles since I wanted it brought to my home and not their shop. I sent them away. I understand everyone needs to make a living. I would have gladly paid up to $150, but I refuse to support a business that takes advantage of people in need of their service. read more
