Too many negatives to list. I had asked to speak to the owner about the bill because he said it it was it was a fast easy job but he was not there to discuss it. It was too expensive. He said that it was a fast easy job which he later denied saying. I questioned the office lady about the bill which took her several days to get. I offered to pay the bill over the phone but his wife said to talk to the owner first. "Big mistake!" Five hours of labor later and $700.00, it was done. I would have done it my self had I known he would have charged 1/2 of that. It was to replace two shackles and 10 bolts. I went down to pay the bill two days in a row, and the bill was not done. I went in on the third time to pay and get a quote for more work and another mistake. When I went in to pay the trailer bill, he accused me of not trusting him to take my business elsewhere. I asked his secretary/wife one simple question about his bill and he flipped out on me. He needs to take an anger management and customer service classes. Details of his tirade, I will not mention. I asked him why I wanted a quote to fix my truck if I did not trust him which he accused me several times. I was a mechanic for several years and I managed the largest trade show company for over 20 years and him trying to intimidate and bully me, (maybe because of his size) may work with some. I did not argue with him, just answered his questions, let him rant and rave and paid the bill. read more

I'm giving them a 1 star because they never gave me an opportunity to become a customer. I prefer to 'shop local' and I support small business. I stopped into Coopers Auto Care because I needed two PA car inspections, a tire replaced and an oil change. The front door was locked with a sign to go around the side. I followed the directions and as I rounded the corner a male voice loudly yells "we're closed"! No offer to come back during specific hours, I never saw who yelled it but I promptly left and got my vehicles serviced elsewhere. A bit of customer service and politeness and I would have exclusively used them for all of our car service needs. read more

This guy put in a transmission 3 months ago and it started leaking and his response was very rude he stated he don't care if it was yesterday he didn't care I wouldn't take anything there so Im professional so if u love ur car don't take it to them scam artist!!! Absolutely recommend Cooper's!!! Having gone to a large corp place for brakes (rotors and pads) all the way around and 2 new tires on the front, the big corp wanted to charge me nearly $1200!! So not being from the area I really didnt know who to call so I used google and Coopers was the 2nd call after the first didnt answer. Not only was Cooper super friendly but had a solid understanding of what I needed ... he got me in right away (literally) and my total cost was 320 for tires (mounted and balanced) and 440ish for all new rotors and pads incl labor. So I saved the same amount of money I spent on the brakes. And oh yea, the brakes are warrantied too. Best service. Great work and not one complaint at all. And something I noticed too, as other customers came in, I observed how Cooper treated people and I can really appreciate that equal kind of treatment for everyone. Great guys. Great shop! read more

Highly recommend coming here!! We traveled from out of town to buy a Volkswagen van, showed up at 4:15 on a Friday and felt really bad for asking them to take a quick look at it to make sure we were making a smart purchase. They were SO friendly and treated us like family. Phil "Peanut" wasn't sure if any of his guys would be able to put it on the lift since they were closing soon. He went to look at it outside at first and he and his staff were able to put it on the lift for a better inspection and to take a closer look at it. They were amazing and very accommodating!! Would highly recommend coming here to get your car checked out. Even though they don't usually work on Volkswagen's, they still made time for us at the last second and gave us their honest opinion. We can't drive the van back home and Peanut even offered to tow it back 6 hours for us!! They were super chill and so nice and if we lived closer, we would definitely use them for fixing all of cars. read more
