It's nice to have someplace close to home that serves delicious food with a gorgeous view! The service is great, prices are reasonable, and they have amazing homemade ice cream! Visiting anytime is great, but coming around sunset will definitely make your trip extra special read more

This place is batting so high above the average you'd expect. First it's right across from the best local scenic view, which would normally be a warning sign. But this place has a menu where clearly everything has been perfected. Rabbit stew to die for. Fantastic caeser. Home made pasta. There's a bunch of stuff we didn't have that is probably worth a try from burgers to crab Mac and cheese to ice cream and Beignets. Give em a try and let us know what else is good. read more

What a great experience we had at Panorama Public House! We were visiting town for my birthday and a local suggested this place for dinner. Once we got there we were greeted. The owner gave us a tour for their art gallery which was amazing and then we were seated. Their menu had great options and everything seemed to be delicious. For starters we ordered their mushrooms with sweet potatoes and they were absolutely delicious. For the main meal we ended up ordering burgers. Everything got served quickly, which was great. I got the Normandie burger and onion rings. The burger was sooo good. Very soft and well made. Their customer service was absolutely amazing. The owners were very friendly and definitely made the visit memorable. At the end of the meal we stayed for a few minutes to see the sunset from their window and the view was spectacular. If you're visiting Berkeley Springs you have to come visit Panorama Public House! Highly recommend. read more

The entire staff was so sweet and genuine. Food was not your average menu which made the selection so unique and absolutely delicious! And they even prepared my dessert to go because I was so full but didn't want to miss the homemade ice cream! Panorama is a great name for this restaurant with a really cool overlook at the parking lot. I had the ribeye, which was very good. The standout was the rumbledethumps, served on a piping hot tray to keep it warm. The dessert was excellent - a freshly made meringue flavored with coriander and a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on top. We were seated next to the fireplace, which is framed by a river stone hearth. The server also let us know that the restaurant is haunted! Apparently a friendly geist known as The Captain. We left before we were seated. We were not greeted when we walked in, we were left waiting for almost 5 min. The restaurant was only 25% full, there were plenty of seats available in the front and back rooms. After we were greeted we were told it would be a 15-20 min wait for a table, even though the restaurant was almost empty. This was around 7pm. I was getting the vibe of a very long food wait if we stayed. The views across from the restaurant are gorgeous but they were in no hurry to fill tables. They would have been better to get us in a seat, then tell us they were running a little slow. A 15 min wait for a restaurant full of empty seats isn't good business. read more

Panorama Public House is well worth the drive if you're looking to get out of the city for an evening of genuinely good food, a relaxed atmosphere, and stunning views. Set just outside Berkeley Springs, the restaurant delivers exactly what it promises: creative comfort food enjoyed with family, friends, and what they rightly call "one helluva view." The charcuterie board and French onion soup were perfect starters, and the main courses -- especially the filet mignon and ribeye -- were cooked beautifully. Even the desserts like "Manna from Heaven" and the s'mores mousse were indulgent without being over the top. The vibe is laid-back but refined, with an art-inspired menu and thoughtful ingredients throughout. From brunch to dinner, the attention to detail in both food and service stands out. The Lazy Sundae ice cream window is also a fun touch for families and weekend visitors. The only slight downside was the very enthusiastic child running and jumping upstairs above us during dinner. It was a little distracting in an otherwise serene space, but it's understandable -- the place is kid-friendly and welcoming to families and dogs, which adds to the overall charm for many. If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would. On a recommendation from the lady at the town museum, we drove up to the panoramic viewpoint & checked out this restaurant across the street. Walking in we were greeted by a warm and friendly person ( the owner, whose name I sadly can't remember). We chose a table in this lovely cozy place and immediately saw a menu that was chock full of things we wanted to try. After selecting the chili which sounded wonderful, it was unfortunately not available, though the kind server offered to tell us her secret receipe! It was an auspicious thing as it turned out as I opted for a tasty caesar salad and an amazing side of baked beans. Another receipe she graciously shared!! Never tasted anything so good!! My hubs tried the burger & onion rings also awesome. A wonderful experience from top to bottom. If only it were closer to home!! read more

The Rstaurant has that laid back feel and the most is truly amazing. Everything is bought from farmers and etc around area. I enjoy coming here ,the view from across street is just one of the perks. This restaurant is such a gem. We came here for our anniversary dinner, and we weren't familiar with the Berkely Springs area but this restaurant was truly such a great choice! It's only 5 months old, but they are doing amazing. The hospitality was great, the ambiance is like a cozy tavern and the view from the parking lot is INSANE. The food is absolutely AMAZING. my boyfriend said his burger was the best burger he's ever had. The pasta is also handmade, as well as their ice cream. 10/10 recommend! read more

Valentines dinner was expensive and the food was meh. I'd like to see restaurants succeed but Improvements in service and food are needed.

We had dinner at Panorama Public House last Friday (June, 2025) and were blown away with the calibre of the food. It is in a charming old inn-looking type of building up on a bluff over looking the Potomac River. You don't have a view of the river from inside. My partner had a rabbit stew and I had a filled ravioli dish with an alfredo sauce. Both were wonderful. We met the chef. She was great. This is a new restaurant (last 6 months), so I'm really hoping they are able to make a success of it. This is a wonderful addition to the restaurant choices in this rural corner of West VA, Maryland and Virginia. We loved it, and will be going back soon. read more

We made plans to eat there on New Years Eve. Had a reservation for 6:45PM for the $95 per person NYE event. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated... but that's the only interaction we had with any staff for over 20 minutes. We waited, and waited, while the staff promptly served other customers who came in after us. After 20 minutes we decided to leave. Never felt more "invisible!" They are obviously very understaffed, but someone should have at least acknowledged us. The next day we e-mailed the chef directly and gave them a chance to respond, but apparently we are still invisible! Pretty much ruined our big night out. We tried this restaurant out for brunch recently. The location and interior are lovely but there were some hiccups. It was brunch time but they had neither bagels (key for at least one of the menu items) and had only white bread. We were told someone was going into town to pick up bagels and wheat bread. Given that this was a weekend brunch, we thought that might have been something to think of before brunch started! To be fair, wheat bread did show up later in the meal. Piping hot" beignets tasted stale, and not hot. The country ham had an unpleasant taste - couldn't eat more than a couple of bites. Scrambled eggs and grits were good,l. The only server clearly had a bad cold and could have benefited from a sick day. With its gorgeous location on the mountain overlooking the Potomac and lovely interior this new establishment has promise, but needs more attention to detail. read more

So glad this restaurant has come to life! We spent many years going to the peak of the panorama waiting for something to open and to our surprise this is a gem! The farm to table homestyle cooking is a welcome treat and we've been now for brunch, lunch, dinner, and drinks and I always look forward to adding it to our Berkeley Springs visit.
