Nestor was the waiter, greeter, and all-around "make sure you're taken care of" guy. Fatema and Betty were wonderful servers--friendly, accommodating, and fun to chat with. And a big thank-you to Fege in the kitchen for the amazing food! The atmosphere is charming, with cute decorations and open-air seating. The fans kept us plenty comfortable during our October visits. Now, the food! The steak chilaquiles were the best I've ever had, and my husband said the same about his breakfast quesadilla. The famous coconut French toast absolutely lived up to the hype. Definitely worth ordering! But those potatoes... perfectly seasoned, topped with cheese, and mixed with a little corn. Sooo good! I'm still dreaming about them. Yes, we ordered them again. Of course we did. Prices were fair, and the generous portions made sharing easy. We're at that stage of life where we eat a little less and share a little more--but apparently, I'm still very protective of my potatoes! Wonderful people, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. Mango Cafe is absolutely worth a visit--and then another!

Everything on their menu is cooked fresh to order and incredibly tasty. The only drawback back is how busy it has gotten over the years, but their service and quality have not suffered.

Clanking all evening But not their fault. The food made it worth it! We truly enjoyed all the food, ever we had was absolutely amazing!! The bread was a treat and nice & light. The best night for a holiday dinner. Thank you!!!

Fuego was indeed fuego (sorry). I would've liked the actual meat of the fish to be more tender (it bordered on overcooked) but still I walked away plenty satisfied. It does have lots of tiny bones. Bread basket came with the most delicious roasted eggplant in oil, I could've eaten just that with the bread and been a happy camper. The roasted octopus was not bad but a touch too heavy on the sauces for me, I would've wanted more of the flavor of the octopus on its own. The potatoes under the octopus, however, were perhaps my favorite part of the whole meal. Everyone else seemed happy with their food - the catch of the day (with the fluffiest mashed potatoes) was a very popular choice. If you're sick of seafood, they have steak and braised brisket on their menu. Really cozy and romantic ambiance as well for if you want to dress up slightly. This place gets very popular for good reason; I liked the little bar counter they set up out front so you can watch the grilling in action.

Wow! The biggest ripoff in the island. Overpriced and undervalued. The service started great but…read morethey were not busy, as soon as more guest came, the service became slow and forgetful. Missing items we requested and having to ask a few times. The place looks nice and open with two levels. They are supposedly a "market" but it's a restaurant and a pier stop. People with their boast can come in. They have showers as well. We order the grouper (fish) and 1 dozen of oysters on the half shell. The fish came with the choice of rice, pasta or steamed vegetables. We decided to do the whole fish and get one filet out. I'm originally from an island so eating a whole fish is normal so I wanted to experience it again because back home where we live we don't have it. The fish was ok. It needed more flavor. Rice was hard and cold and not really tasty. The oysters were harder than usual. We ordered two of their Marbella sunrise (drinks) and they were good. Overall the food was NOT good or fresh. It made me sick! I got food poisoning. At the end of our trip in the island I got so sick I was puking on the beach and then walking the streets like a drunk person puking my guts out and not even with a buzz?! No thanks! My final advice? AVOID at all cost because what you will be missing here is your money from your wallet. Nothing special. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Awful. Definitely not worth $221.00. The stone crab was so tuff you couldn't eat it. My husband…read moresent it back and they still charged him $21 for the 1 piece he tried to eat. The other 2 items we Ordered were sub-par fried rice and 6 shrimp. Not worth it at all! Very disappointed in this place.
