So when I knew I was going to Vegas, I jumped on their website and grabbed a pretty decent reservation. Upon arrival, I was glad I got a bit dressed up as this place is pretty fancy. They gave us complimentary bread basket, as well as a complimentary plate of salami, and aged Parmesan and some pickled vegetables. These all hit the spot perfectly, I loved the bread and salami the most. Once we took a quick look at the menu I had three dishes in mind to try for this visit. We went with Carpaccio Piemontese ($32.00)-Spicy Rigatoni Vodka ($33.00) and Ribeye Diana ($74.00). The Carpaccio came out first, I had this dish in New York and loved it then and I loved it on this visit. The beef is sliced paper thin, topped with mushrooms and toasted walnuts and a truffle dressing. It has a true melt in your mouth texture-so delicious. Next came the legendary spicy rigatoni vodka-this is Carbone's signature dish. The pasta is cooked al dente, which gives a great chew but the star is the sauce. Super creamy tomato forward with a sweet kick from the Calabrian chili in the sauce, they coat every pasta piece perfectly. Finally we got the Ribeye Diana dish. This was my third favorite dish of the night but not because of lack of quality but because of the high levels of the first two dishes. This was a ribeye cooked to a perfect medium rare and was covered in cacciatore sauce. The ribeye had a nice melt in your mouth texture while also having a rich Italian flavor from the cacciatore sauce. We were pretty full from our meal but that didn't stop them from giving us complimentary tri-colored Italian almond cake cookies to finish off our meal. That was a nice touch. One of the things I think that sets Carbone apart from other restaurants is the high level of service from the hostess to the bar staff to the waiter-all very high level. Carbone is just pure class and it's currently my favorite restaurant in Vegas. I look forward to trying this spot out again or maybe the new location located over at the Bellagio when I return for F1 weekend.

I recently had the opportunity to try Panino for the first time and I was very impressed. The sandwiches are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and they are grilled to perfection. It is a family-owned business. The bread is also very good. I had the Chimichurri steak sandwich, which is made with roast beef, roasted bell peppers, melted cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and chimichurri sauce. It was delicious! I also tried their special some sort of spicy chicken and it was very good. Also tried the banana gelato it was made to perfection. I would definitely recommend Panino to anyone looking for a great sandwich shop. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is casual and relaxed. The service is fast and this place reminds me of walking into Rocco's delicatessen in Rockville Center, NY back in the day. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is due to the ridiculously high prices. Who knew the tariffs already hit the food market, before it actually hit lol. I ordered 2 Don Corleone's, 2 Italian small Potato Salads and 2 Sparkling waters small as well and the bill was over $56.00 dollars. Wow that's steep. I grew up in NY and the delicatessen's are off the chain and they don't get this kind of coin for sandwiches. I totally understand quality and a premium price, but let's be for real. It's a shame, because if I am going to spend that kind of money for sandwiches I am going to the Palm for lunch at The Forum Shops and get the businessman's lunch steak special. I do have to mention that the items didn't come out in order and our French toast took a long time. We weren't in a big hurry, so it was okay but would have appreciated better pacing. The closest comparison I can make is to the Publix subs I got growing up in Florida. And if you've ever had a sub from Publix, you know that's high praise! The only downside is that they're a bit far from my house. But I will happily make the drive when I want to treat myself to a great lunch, and also to get a friendly smile from Christine and the rest of the great crew there. I'm so glad I found this place! Now you need a tip from us just to do your job? Huge turn off for me ! Lower your prices, so we can afford to leave a tip! Especially now w the price of gas @ $4.50/gal, we barely can afford to go out to eat ! Why do these fast food places think they should get tipped for doing their job? I wish they wouldn't put their customers on the spot making us feel like we have to leave a tip so we don't look cheap! Just my opinion, but fast food places shouldn't be allowed to do that making their customers feel guilty to leave one!

We'll seasoned perfectly medium rare and tender Egg sando had a perfectly jammy egg and was properly salted. I usually find eggs underrated but this was spot on. Spicy Chicken Katsu was crispy with a great slaw. All served on thick slices of toasted Shokupan. Light and fluffy with the toast on the inside. All in all a great experience will most definitely be back.

Everytime though...always some staff that looks annoyed, lazy, or struggles to make you feel welcomed like the other locations. That starts to weigh on you. We are REGULARS and have been trying out the Sunset location the past month. I ALWAYS order over the phone and NOT have to pay ahead. Whoever this girl was...she had the audacity to try forcing it on us, and then gave an attitude at the end. So...we went to the Chinatown location (always amazing service here). So this one gets a 1 star. Come on, do better.

Everyone was so friendly, very attentive, the food came out QUICK and the whole restaurant is very clean and welcoming. The gentleman who sat us (who I assume is the owner) was great at checking in on us and so was our server! The not good: sadly the food. So I'm torn down the middle for this one. Maybe if I had gotten something different than a normal eggs and bacon breakfast, I would have a recommendation to give.
