My girlfriend got the Charboiled Chicken and it was juicy and not dry. Service - 4/5 They were pretty accommodating! Making sure we had our waters filled and checked in often. It was about 20-30 minute wait to get our food though. Portion Size - 4/5 Plates were quite big and there was enough to take home for a light meal. Value - 3/5 Usually other Mediterranean places give you pita and hummus with your entree, but we had to order it extra here. Wouldn't be my first choice for Mediterranean, but wouldn't be my last. We came in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. It was bustling but not too crowded. The two of us were seated inside without a wait. We had the meat lovers and shrimp kabob. These come with a choice of rice and salad, so be ready when you order. Both of these dishes were so good. The rice was nicely flavored and the salad was fresh and lightly dressed. I especially appreciated the fresh avocado. There were a few staff members walking around but we had one primary server. She was friendly and helpful and kept our waters filled. I quite enjoyed the experience, a comfortable very casual modern Mediterranean eatery. I had the beef coobideh played with the basmati rice and the remain salad with the fresh avocado. I almost got the Caesar salad, but then decided last minute for the one with avocado because I wanted some fresh avocado. The meat was very delicious, and this is coming from someone with a high standard of Persian/Middle Eastern food. They do not have sumac to season the kebab at the table, but they did have hot sauce if you wanted it. I enjoyed the meal, the rice was perhaps slightly drier than what I would typically want for basmati rice like that; but it was still very good. Many people may like their rice, not quite as oily/buttery as I do. I did order an extra pita bread as the entrée does not come with pita by default here. I enjoyed the yogurt, dipping sauce very much. I had strawberry lemonade to drink which was enjoyable and they kept refilling my glass promptly. For dessert, I had the baklava with vanilla ice cream. It came on a plate with a bowl of ice cream, two pieces of baklava and some strawberry and mint garnish. The staff were quite attentive, and I would say overall, pretty good service. Due to my visual impairment, I asked for assistance walking to the next place that I needed to go and they were more than happy to assist. I did use the restroom, they have a ladies room and a men's room with stalls inside, clean and tidy. I was seated inside, so I cannot speak to the experience of the outdoor option, and these kind of places I usually avoid the outdoor seating because I like air conditioning plus in these places the outdoor option is often where people who wanna smoke are going to sit. Had lunch with my mom after a short shopping trip to the Glendale Galleria. We parked near this restaurant so we decided to eat here. I had been to a few of their other locations and loved them all. All five star reviews for them. First of all great customer service, we were greeted right away and seated within a few minutes. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We ordered the chicken plate and the pesto chicken panini. My mom loved her panini but couldn't finish it. It's a big portion and can easily be shared. My chicken kebab plate was amazing. First time at this location - been to the Woodland hills and Orange County locations - and I gotta say the quality, portions, and service are all consistently good. Love their prices for the portions you get, and everything is really tasty. Located on the northwest corner between JCPenney and Macys. Plenty of parking at the Galleria, the restaurant is on the first floor. There's mall-side seating, indoor seating, and patio seating. Plenty of booth seating and regular seating, and a small bar area. The restaurant was nice and clean and the staff was friendly! Portions were huge and the food was tender and tasted fresh! They have a good amount of food options and their prices are fair. This time we went with the Family combo (2 chicken skewers)- chicken, grilled veggies, salad, and rice. Also ordered the falafel combo appetizer which comes with falafels, hummus, yogurt, pita bread or cucumber slices. The chicken is always flavorful and juicy. I also really like the falafels here. They have a great texture and flavor compared to other falafels I have tried that are mush. Worst experience I've had ordering from here. I ordered a meat lover's plate with veggie sides and received cold meat and no vegetables (other than literally one piece of bell pepper). How can you go wrong with PKG? This branch is inside the Glendale Galleria Mall right by Maragume udon and Popeyes (near the food court). You can access from it inside the mall or outside. The restaurant is spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. We had no trouble getting seated on a Sunday during lunchtime. There is also a restroom inside the restaurant so you don't have to go in the mall. We came with a stroller and were able to park the stroller near our table . I always get the Lule kebab, double portion. For the price it can't be beat. The portions are large and I always take half home. My husband got the seafood pasta, and it was actually pretty solid! I always think it's weird that this place serves pasta but hey it works! I am a fan of Panini Kabob Grill and know I'll be coming back. :) read more

Avoid Panini Grill in Glendale due to poor customer service We attempted to place a lunch order today, but were told by the employee on the phone that he couldn't process it because the total exceeded $300. Ironically, the amount was only that high because we planned to leave a generous tip--which, needless to say, changed after this interaction. He then placed us on hold to speak with the manager, Iris. Unfortunately, the situation only became more frustrating. Iris reiterated that they could not accept any order over $300 and stated that orders had to be limited to $100-$200. Trying to be flexible, I offered a simple solution: split the order into two separate transactions--one under $100 and another under $200. Even with this, there was no willingness to accommodate or problem-solve. It was a disappointing experience, especially for what should have been a straightforward, high-value order. We ended up taking our business elsewhere. Hopefully management can revisit their policies and, more importantly, how they handle customers. read more

Every time I usually go to a Panini the food is always consistent and amazing. The only problem I've had so far is the service. At different locations service is often slow and staff end up frequently forgetting items. I've been here 3 times now every time I've been served by a young man named Evan. He is always very attentive and incredibly knowledgeable. Me and my family felt like we were taken care of very well and things often forgotten at other locations were brought to with a smile by him. I wasn't initially going to leave a review, at least not after the first mistake. My parents and I just had the family meal here and though the koobideh and the chicken were good, the texture and flavor of the rice was way off and the roasted vegetables were undercooked and not the way the are normally delicious charred... honestly that was not even a big deal. What really got to me was the fact that the ice cream we ordered for dessert had a piece of plastic in it. My mom accidentally swallowed a piece of it and when we told the manager he gave us 20% off and took the dessert off our bill. Given our experience (really what bothers me most is my mom swallowing plastic and having to go to the bathroom to see if she could expel it), $63 hardly seems fair. No one should ever compromise their health, or even get close to it, for a meal. It'll probably be a while till I give this place another chance, if ever. Though I've never had an issue at the Glendale one so maybe I'll just go there from now on Even so, I'm put off by this and now associate this experience will this kind of food so may not be eating this at any location. read more

There's always an issue with staffing at this location. Also, would it kill you to leave the sumac on the tables so that the waiters don't have to run back to the kitchen for it each time? I've eaten at other PKG locations before and have always had good experiences. I decided to order catering with delivery from this location and was not disappointed. The food was delicious - many people during the party kept asking where the food was from and mentioned how good it was. We had catered trays of beef koobideh, chicken, pesto chicken pasta, date and fig salad, rice, and the caprese panini sandwich. I would highly recommend everything listed above - salads included! I went in before I placed the order just to get an idea of the catering order process and spoke with one of the ladies on site. The restaurant was pretty quiet and clean. I just ordered Rigatoni Rosa from this location in Glendale via DoorDash because I am under the weather. I ordered and called the restaurant on the phone and specifically asked them to add a bit more sausage since I didn't want my pasta to be dry. The young lady said no problem, I also asked for more bread. Upon receiving my pasta it was dry and the chicken was too. It had no extra pink sauce. I quickly called the restaurant back and spoke to the manager "Carlos" to see if I could pickup the xtra sauce and bread since my pasta was dry. He was of no help and was rude to me. I explained am a customer of panini for many years and have eaten there since it opened as well as others like downtown LA, Burbank. He said he could not do anything for me and that if I wanted the requested item I would have to pay for it. I explained yo him that's no way to treat a customer and I also reminded him that never did he apologize for my food arriving dry with hardly any sauce. He continued to tell me in an aggressive voice that he has to answer to corporate each time he gives extra bread and xtra sauce. This was not the treatment I expected. I also proceeded to ask him if he spoke in Spanish so that we can better understand each other and he said he'd rather speak English. This was the last straw and I am very angry and frustrated at how I was treated. I did throw away my dry pasta with the dry chicken in it. This is horrible and I should not have been treated this way. My mother and I are regular customers at Panini Kebab and have been coming here for a long time. Almost every time we visit, we order the same thing: the green lentil soup and we split a kubidee kebab. Because we like the food very hot, we always politely ask the staff not to start cooking the kubidee until after we finish the soup, and we request that everything be served extra hot. This has usually not been a a problem in the past. During our most recent visit, the kubidee kebab was actually brought out before we had even finished our soup. Since we had specifically asked for it to be made after we finished the soup, we sent it back and reminded them of our request. When the dish came back out later, it was cold. We politely let them know that the food was cold and asked if it could be remade. At that point, the manager, Carlos, came over and began arguing with us. He stated that he personally made the dish and that it was "as hot as it was going to get." Instead of trying to resolve the issue, he continued to argue and refused to remake it. The situation was frustrating and uncomfortable, especially because we are regular customers who come here often. We weren't asking for anything unreasonable--just that the food be served hot and prepared after we finished our soup as we had requested. A simple remake or even a polite response would have gone a long way. I'm leaving this review in hopes that the owner or upper management sees it and addresses the situation. We have enjoyed coming here in the past and would like to continue supporting the restaurant, but experiences like this make it difficult. I hope management can look into this and ensure situations like this are handled more professionally in the future. read more

This review is not about the food, but lack thereof. I placed a to go order for salmon in person and was advised that it would take 20 minutes. There were only 4 occupied tables at that moment and thought it was odd that it would take that long, but whatever 20 minutes isn't that bad of a wait. 30 minutes goes by, so I walk up to the counter and find out that they gave my order to another table. So now I'm extremely annoyed because 1) How disorganized are you that you mix up orders when only 4 tables are occupied and 3 of those already had food. 2) Did no one in the store wonder wtf I was doing waiting at the table for 30 minutes? The manager (I think) apologizes and says my order will be ready in 5 minutes, so now I'm skeptical because how are you going to quote me 5 minutes when the original estimate was 20? I'm half worried that salmon is going to be undercooked, but whatever I sit and wait 5 minutes and there's no sign that my order is even remotely ready, so I request a refund. This was your screw up, I'm not playing this game where you misquote me just to get me off your back. If it takes 10-15 minutes to complete the order, be upfront about it, don't lie. The manager even had the audacity to say the order is ready, but I don't see anything boxed up/ready. Anyways, the order was placed on 7/4 and I still have not seen the refund go in. Now they're going to waste my time again in chasing this. It's a shame because my wife loves this place, thankfully Glendale has many options for Mediterranean food. read more
