I have been going to Southwest for years, but slowly switching elsewhere, I think. I read another…read morereview on here and couldn't help but nod. My drs have started pushing weight loss meds as well. When I told him I wasn't comfortable with those, he sort of shrugged and just said "When you get older, you need the help" I mean, I'm at an age where it could be hormones, I have a chronic back condition that limits my mobility, but yeah, let's not bother finding the root of it...just give me a shot. I went and found a dietician on my own to work with. My digestion has improved so much already, to soon to see how the weight loss will go...but my concern was never weight, it was health. Another time I went to the ER in horrible pain, and left because they kept me waiting so long. Later turned out I was having gallbladder attacks. The billing dept was my breaking point. They will send you multiple bills for the same procedure under different account numbers, and then you get outside bills for other companies who read your films or what have you. Well, if it was one account I could pay 50 a month, but if it's eight I can't pay 25 on each. The woman started telling me about minimum payment requirements on each separate bill and threatened to send me to collections, which is ridiculous because I have been going there for years, and I have always paid everything off in payments -usually within a few months. So between the billing and my dr pushing meds, I think this place is all about the money anymore. Maybe all places are, but I would rather skip the dr and just age than be broke, skinny, and on some meds that do more harm than good. I don't think they are trying to keep me healthy anyway. Blanca, (who posted a similar experience) get ready for the Gastro to tell your husband to go on the meds, too. Mine did.

My husband's appointment was with Dr. Patel and we will not be coming back. Dr. Patel was dismissive, spoke over my husband/interrupted him multiple times, and made assumptions about his eating habits. Dr. Patel did not ask any life style questions to my husband. He dismissed the extent of my husband's broke back and focused mostly on his weight, even after my husband discussed his chronic stomach pain that he has had since childhood and that not appear to be alleviated by weight loss alone. The experience was very belittling and my husband did not realize it until we left. Dr. Patel was also very pushy with weight loss medication even after my husband discussed being uncomfortable with that. There is a rise of colon cancer and other issues within our age group and Dr. Patel's only worry was weight loss (which if it was the main cause of his health issues we would understand but thorough testing or assessment has been done to rule out other potential medical issues that could be the reason for the weight not the other way around). Pretty much, Dr. Patel doesn't care. We did labs and his assistant informed us to see a GI bc there were inflammation markers in his lab and that Dr. Patel's follow up is to "go on a low card, low fat diet with exercise and come back in 6-12months (again ignoring my husbands back injury). I never leave reviews on doctors, but this was one of the most disappointing and dismissive experiences we have had and it saddens me that my husband didn't realize how much he was actually ignored and not listened to until we got him.

When visiting his office with another former patient who has had major plastic surgery due to skin cancer in the past, and was hugely satisfied with his results, we then got into the discussion of the benefits of a facelift and necklift for me. Dr. Pandrangi clearly felt he could make a big improvement for me as well. I am so happy with the results!! From the time we started planning, the procedure itself, the wonderful care I received at the surgery center, the anesthesiologist , and the post op care, everything was the best. His office staff, Dr Pandrangi himself, and the surgery center all work in unison giving the patient the best service and treatment anyone could ever want. I am so happy I chose Dr Pandrangi, and give him a TOP recommendation, I would give him more than 5 stars if possible!! Dee

She was efficient thorough and did exams, tuning fork checks for nerve damage, debrided all nails, decent foot massage, foot strength in all directions and much more. His resident did most of the work and was just ok. Told her what I was used to and seemed a tad put out but she did do a thing or two more. Nathan was nice friendly knowledgeable and advised me well when I asked about shoe inserts, arch supports etc. visit was good but if I had to compare I didn't feel the same duty of care this time here.

Surgery was July 24th and she did not send me to the wound clinic until September 10th when it was not healing from the inside. Her follow up was very poor. She had me packing the wound that never should have been myself. The wound clinic were wonderful and I went 3 times a week but it was two late. November 10th I was admitted into the hospital from the wound clinic. She never saw me after she sent me to the clinic and she works there one day a week. I was diagnosed with Mersa and was put in rehab with a pic line for antibiotics but it was not a sure thing. She wanted to amputate my whole big toe. Thank God I got a second opinion from an orthopedic surgeon who made me a priority. She said it would be out patient surgery and I would go home with no antibiotics because the infection would be gone with the toe. Not true! I had to go back to rehab and had a splint non weight bearing for 2 weeks followed by a heal bearing cast. I was in rehab all through the holidays! He extended my antibiotics! The incision was clean and healed quickly and now I am still on a walker until a thoroughly heal. My friend was told by Dr. Greer that she needed surgery with a non weight bearing cast for 6 to 8 weeks. She went to my surgeon for a 2nd opinion and it was a simple procedure and she was able to put weight on it the next day. Be aware and get a second opinion always! I would NEVER recommend Dr. Greer for anything complex. I shudder to think of what would have happened if I had her amputate my toe which was only partially removed! Those 5 months I will never get back and I suffered immensely!!!! I hope that they don't remove this review again!!!! Dr. Greer never even talked to me directly in the recovery room. Dr. Rascoe my surgeon came to check on me 4 times! To this day I have not heard from her inquiring how I am doing! Nurses in the wound center and my primary care physician reached out to me more than once showing they care! Kathy Robertson

The EOB clearly included the service that Andrea stated was not covered as paid. When I requested that I be sent a detailed invoice regarding the charges for services, Andrea laughed at me, told me "good luck finding another dentist" and hung up on me. When I called back to find out when Andrea would be sending a detailed invoice regarding the services provided and to request that Andrea resubmit the cost that she stated was not reimbursed by insurance to the insurance company I was placed on hold for over 25 minutes before being disconnected.
