I called them on a Thursday afternoon and they got her in by the next day! They also called me back prior to the appointment to explain they do not offer "laughing gas" but advised they will ensure she is comfortable and the dentist is wonderful with kids. The check in was fast and easy - allowing you to register and fill out all of your patient information and insurance information on their website prior to the visit, which was very nice. The receptionist was wonderful. They then took my daughter and myself back to the procedure area. The dental assistant was so nice and comforting towards my daughter, making her feel more at ease with explaining the X-rays and procedure she was about to experience. The dentist, Dr. Joseph Jurcak was amazing. He made my daughter feel at ease - from making jokes with her to even singing (and making jokes about his singing as well). This was perfect because I LOVE to embarrass my daughter with my angelic singing. He went above and beyond for her and I can't begin to explain my appreciation for that. After the procedure, the woman that handles the finances came out with her microphone and we all had a couple minutes to have some fun. She will be going back for another procedure soon. PLEASE READ IN ENTIRETY!!! I almost never leave reviews but…read moreI have to speak up for myself with hopes that what happened to me does not happen to anyone else. No one deserves to be treated like I did. No patient should ever be lied to or called a liar. I called in to Dentkos to verify that my insurance was accepted and I was told yes. I needed two root canals so I scheduled my appt and came in on 6/24/25. I was in excruciating pain. I asked if my procedures were 100% covered by my insurance and I was told with complete certainty, yes. So, I signed all of the paperwork and Dr. Dentkos began my first root canal. For unclear reasons, he didn't complete the root canal and I was scheduled to come back in on 7/7/25 to have it finished and to start on the second one. I came back in on that date and Michelle, the office manager at the front desk, told me someone in their office made a mistake and they found out that they were not in network with my insurance. Of course I was taken aback and completely confused. I told her that my root canal was not even finished so what would happen regarding it's completion. She said "Don't worry we are going to complete it, we have to. But we won't be able to do your second one. You'll have to go somewhere else that accepts your insurance for that one". I was a bit upset due to me having to find a different entodontist, but I was also content with finally getting my first root canal finished. So, I got the first root canal finished that day. On 7/18/25, I receive a bill for a total of $1,219 that stated I was responsible for. I figured it was just a mistake or an automatic correspondence that was sent out. But I wanted to make sure. So, I called Dentkos and Michelle answered the phone. I explained to her that I got the bill and automatically she became defensive and extremely rude to me. She told me that she doesn't know who told me that they accepted my insurance and that "Dr. Dentkos doesn't work for free". I explained "It's not my fault that YOU gave me incorrect information and I remember exactly who I spoke with and it was you Michelle". She basically called me a liar and said no one ever told me that. After briefly going back and forth and me trying to explain why this is so unfair and how I shouldn't be held financially responsible, she blatantly stated "Well you signed paperwork that said whatever your insurance doesn't cover, you'd be responsible for. So, you'll just have to pay the bill". Needless to say, I've contacted my insurance company and filed a grievance and an appeal. I am also going to file complaints with whatever departments necessary to get some answers and a resolution. There was never an apology or accountability. Just blaming the patient and accusing me of being untruthful. I WILL NEVER SUGGEST ANYONE TO GO TO THIS ENTODONTIST. Please save yourself the headache and find an honest and professional endodontist office who genuinely cares about their patients.

He takes my crappy insurance, and didn't take an arm and leg for the self-pay crown I had. The numbing shots are the worst part for me, but he jiggles your cheek a bunch so you can hardly feel it. They also offer iPads with Netflix to help distract/entertain you. Today I had a couple more fillings, and a chip repaired on my front tooth. As long as I can remember I have had white spots on my two front teeth, which he offered to take out while fixing the chip. What?! I'm nearly 30 and it took a dentist this long to tell me that could be done?! My newly single-shade front teeth look awesome, I couldn't be happier. Thanks Doc!
