This is a pretty popular stop here. They have a variety of flavors and some interesting ones. They also do split scoops. The staff are friendly. We got the popular huckleberry ice cream and the orange dark chocolate bitters. The huckleberry, I found was on the sweeter side and less of berry. The orange one had a good punch of orange which I preferred. read more

We stopped in and ordered their "ice cream flight" for $12 which allows you to order 4 flavors (see photo I uploaded). There were only two of this but this would've been great for a group of 2-3 as well. We loved trying multiple flavors and sharing. We tried Just plain chocolate, chocolate chip cookie, Buttermilk Huckleberry and Peppermint Fudge. They were all delicious!! Peppermind Fudge tasted like a fun twist on mint chocolate chip. The ice cream was good, but the service was awful. After ordering 3 kids's cones, I was charged for 3 small cones. When I pointed out the error, the clerk said "Yes, that was our mistake", but continued to charge me for the larger cones. I presented a token for a free Kid's Cone and was told I would have to use that next time when I order a Kid's Cone. I again said that I did order Kid's Cones and again was told "Yes, that was our mistake". The token was given back to me to use "next time". I have never encountered a business making a mistake and expecting the customer to pay for it. We are local, but there may not be a next time. read more

This was a very nice ice cream shop, I loved the decorations, all the ice cream flavors were on clip boards on the wall. Also it gave a very homemade feel to it. I got the honey comb and bourbon ice cream, it didn't have a strong bourbon flavor but it was there and not a lot of honeycomb in it either. I also had their coffee ice cream which was very nice. My sister got the CB and J( cookie butter and jam) which was alright but couldn't tasted the cookie butter and it was mostly a lot of raspberry jam. The service was okay we stood and waited for about 5 minutes( the ice cream shop was empty) but the employee there was nice. read more

It tastes so creamy and is a hard ice cream but on the softer side. The waffle cones are homemade as well but they are a little thin and crumbly but it supports the scoops! This place is so, so good! As everyone said, it's very clean and the ice cream is delicious!! Everything is homemade and the flavors are pretty sophisticated. I had a blood orange and dark chocolate split scoop with huckleberry and buttermilk. The blood orange and dark chocolate was gourmet quality! It was so subtle but just delicious! The huckleberry was creamy and sweet, but not too sweet. Normally, when I eat ice cream, I have to chug water because there's too much sugar. I didn't have to this time, which made it a pleasure to eat my entire cone, which I normally can't do. Also, make sure you get a waffle cone! They come out warm and melt the ice cream just a tiny bit-- it's so good! If I ever come back to Sandpoint, I'm definitely coming here again!! read more

I'm a sucker for good waffle cone. I'd say that I probably value the cone as much as the ice cream. I've been here twice. Once, the week of Fourth of July, amidst a heat wave. I was told that operating the waffle machine would make the shop too warm. Totally understandable. Nobody wants a warm ice cream shop. However, the second time I visited was the first week of September. Not during a heatwave. Still no waffle cones. I may try one more time to get a fresh waffle cone ice cream. But after that I'll move on. The ice cream itself has never disappointed. I had a lavender one the first time and the second time I had honeycomb and bourbon. I was delightfully surprised by both! Found this little jem on our walk through town. It's simply delish! All the flavors are outstanding even the pineapple and habanero, that's right, pineapple and habanero! They are not lying about the heat coming at the end of the taste. Yaowzer! They have two categories, regulars and seasonal. I would highly recommend going out of your comfort zone and tasting a few. They want you to! Pineapple habanero: wasn't to sweet but be warned there is heat at the end. I would pair it with honey lavender ;) Salted Carmel with nibs: delish! So rich and creamy with out being so sugary. Their #1 seller! Toasted coconut and huckleberry: YUM! Love the huckleberry Waffle cones are made on site. I had a taste of my son's you know, to make sure it wasn't poisonous ;) and it was crunchy tasty. A+ Coffee is also served, didn't taste but they did offer affogato.. which is one of my favs!! So it's a win win for all, something for the kids and a little some'n some'n for the grown ups! read more
