This is my first one star rating ever! I am sure it will probably be my last one, because it takes a lot to get me upset! I will admit the food was great, but the service was AWFUL! As my husband was asking where to put our used plates/silverware he was directed to put it on the shelf - he thought he was putting it where the employee directed him - he wasn't. The employee lost her mind, and basically made it into a huge deal. My husband is probably one of the most considerate, kind, and thoughtful people you will ever meet - so for her to be that ugly about an honest mistake definitely made my hair stand straight up! In a time when we are trying to do all we can to be understanding and support the restaurant business you would think that understanding would be reciprocated. Hopefully there will be a conversation to said employee about grace - I am going to go take my own advice and offer her grace, maybe she had a bad day...rant over read more

If you're ordering delivery from Panera, don't. They use Door Dash to deliver your food. After waiting an hour and a half and watching my delivery driver go everywhere but to my house on the map, I called and cancelled with corporate. Also, Panera's stores don't actually answer the phone either so they're pretty much useless unless you're physically inside the store. read more

This is the toasted Asiago bagel I was just served: (see pic). But the strawberry smoothie was pretty good. A burnt bagel is just so easy to replace before you put it in the bag and hand it to a customer. Just toast another one for less time. read more

I did the Rapid Pick-up and it was fast and efficient. They had my order ready in just a few minutes. The food was great as always.

Panera is turning out to be one of the few places that everyone in my family enjoys and has something that they will enjoy to eat and actually finish it. The pick two option is my go two and the turkey sandwiches and chicken paninis are what I typically get with a bowl of broccoli cheese soup. My kids love the chicken and cheese tortellini, and the Mac and cheese. The bakery is great as well. My only complaint is that overall Panera can be quite expensive for a large family. Hard to get out of there under $50 for a family of 7. read more

I pulled up to the drive thru menu and was immediately greeted. So I ordered a whole green goddess Cobb salad. I ask what other dressings they have than the one that's paired with this salad. The order taker named off a few. I picked The southwest ranch. She then proceeds to ask if it's a whole of half. Again I say whole. And add a large lemonade. I get to the window and she says "I'm sorry, I didn't remember what side you ordered. It was bread, right?" Well, I wasn't really given an option and I didn't order any side to be honest. So I order chips. All is well. Get home, bc I'm in a huge hurry bc my lunch hour is over, and open the bag to realize I do not have a green goddess Cobb salad. I have some southwest chicken salad. At least I got my chops and lemonade correctly. But pretty disappointed that I had ONE item ordered and it wasn't right. $14 for a salad and lemonade is pretty expensive for fast food, and for it to not even be what I ordered. Oh well. read more

I love love love this place!! I love the entire concept. Clean food, nice variety & a comfy place to just "BE". It started as my own love affair ... as if I was the only person in my world who knew of this wonderful place. Then, my hubby decided he'd "settle" on something there to avoid another stop on the way home. Now I share my wondrous place with many in my family. My husband begrudgingly admits ... he really likes it (he even enjoyed the apple)! I enjoy feeling good about what foods I have put into my body, this rendezvous leaves you with no guilt or shame. You can feel deliciously satisfied & not walk away feeling horrible. With this affair, I choose how I want to communicate.... I can order with a hostess, online, or via Kiosk. The ordering kiosks are fantastic & I enjoy that I can customize my food exactly how I wish it to be - right down to how the avocado is sliced in my sandwich. The rewards are pretty nice too. Coffee here is better than other competing chains, but I find it to have that familiar flavor of a particular donut shop, so it's not my favorite stop for really good coffee. But "... every rose has its thorns". Pastries are the "flirting" in this affair ... they always tease & call out to your senses. Added with a meal - there's even a pastry discount. I do not like to leave bad reviews but it needs to be said. I come to this location every Saturday morning. Every single Saturday the espresso machine is broken. EVERY SINGLE ONE. The enthusiasm of the person at the register is nonexistent. Oh! On one Saturday the entire kitchen was closed because there was no running water. You ask why I keep coming back? Because I don't like to give up and it's not the staff's fault. But After several Months of this finally I'm DONE. read more

My family and I have been here several times, but I have yet become a fan. This location always appears very clean and the employees are very nice and helpful. I ordered the, You pick 2, with 1/2 Caesar Salad and a 1/2 Turkey Apple Cheddar Sandwich. The sandwich was very good. The apple cabbage slaw made this sandwich. The arugula was a good touch preventing the sandwich to be too sweet. Definitely recommend this sandwich. The reason for 3 stars is...every time I've eaten here, I've walked away still hungry! I am giving four stars based on the overall meal and past performance at Panera in general. My meal was the Italian Combo - bread was excellent, lettuce crisp and fresh, and meat was tasty. The pepperoncino pepper was a nice touch to the flavor. My only complaint with the sandwich was the minuscule scrap of seared steak included with it. I opened the sandwich to remove the fresh tomato slices for my son who loves them way more than I do and noticed the amount of steak included in the sandwich was paltry at best. My sons both ordered the Turkey Chili. After we paid and sat down we were informed that the chili had been discontinued at the store. This was not a big deal, but it would have nice to know this when placing the order. The attendant handled the situation well and with apologies so all was good. This is not the first time we have had minor problems with items we order being 'out' at this restaurant. All in all the food we were served was excellent so I selected four stars. Five stars is not out of the question for Panera if they get a better handle on the tiny details. read more

Walked in to the store a bit past 8:30am; seems like a new store location. Everything clean and in order. The store had the new self kiosks for ordering. Signs of the times, i like a friendly smile and interaction, took a ehile to get someone to help us out. Eventually a young lady help us out, not very customer friendly but the transaction got done. Honestly if I could give this store negative stars I would, but unfortunately thats not an option, pls get on that Yelp. The customer service is shit, the employees all seem very stressed and overwhelmed and everytime I go there are never any employees to greet me, it takes 10 minutes to be cashed out. I'm not sure if this is because they are very understaffed or just do not care. The Mac and cheeses are always cold and my salads have nasty pieces of romaine. Yikes. Went in early morning thru the drive thru. Asked for a drink no whippedcream no syrup and a wrap. 10 minutes later(no one in front of me). Wrap is cold. Drink has whipped cream and syrup. Inform the young lady this isn't what I ordered. She told me that it was. Asked to see the manager and a young lady showed up. No name tag asked her to remake it. 2nd one has whiPped cream. Explained it still was not correct and asked for my money to be returned. I was told that could not happen. I don't go to Yulee but monthly but McDonald's I am coming to get my ice coffee. We had a good experience here. Nothing special happened that made it extraordinary, but everything was pleasant and lived up to our expectations. Our bagels were good, and my fiancé enjoyed his pastry that he got. The counter service was friendly and our food came out promptly. Like the first reviewer, we too were SO glad to finally have a Panera Bread in the area. Haven't been to one in many years. Being a relative "newbie", right off the bat, I was slightly confused by the "You Pick Two" choice. After sorting that out, our party of three made our "You Pick Two" choices. I had the Italian combo 1/2 sandwich with a 1/2 shrimp salad (which doesn't appear on their website). My sandwich had wonderful ingredients but was contained by bread that was too tough and (because I like my sandwiches sloppy) needed extra mayo, while the 1/2 shrimp salad was so superb, I wished I had chosen a whole salad without the 1/2 sandwich. My wife had the 1/2 chipotle chicken sandwich and 1/2 bowl of French onion soup. The sandwich was very good and only needed the addition of a little salt, but the soup was tasty but was far too salty. Our companion (an experienced Panera Bread patron) enjoyed her favorite, the 1/2 grilled cheese sandwich and a 1/2 bowl of soup and enjoyed it (as usual). The order takers were very accomplished in explaining the many choices and someone even brought the orders to us rather than depending on the beeper to summon us for counter pickup. This was unexpected and a very nice surprise. The restaurant was not crowded, quiet (big plus for me) and chilly and on this nice, bright, sunny day. A group of gals and I meet here every week for breakfast. I like their large round mugs; I have arthritis, and they just feel better in my hand. Last week I requested my usual coffee in a round mug and the clerk told me they were. no longer available. I was "Huh?" She said they "got rid of them" and I would have to use the regular mug. Ok maybe it should be no big deal, but we have been meeting here weekly for a year, and, really? It just feels better in my hand. (You know how it goes...you probably have a favorite mug you use at home.). And all of a sudden you got rid of the good mugs? I took one of the mugs I don't like and when my breakfast was delivered, I asked the server, "Oh, so you got rid of all the round mugs, huh?" To which he replied, "No. but they are used only for when someone orders hot chocolate or cappuccino." Ok, maybe should be no big deal, but people, I am a paying customer. A regular, that spends a bit of coin at your establishment. First, don't lie to me Second, Let me have a damned round mug. What does it matter to you? There is a thing out there called "customer service". The words are "customer". And "service". Maybe you should try thinking about that. read more

I tried to order dinner a couple of nights ago using their Rapid Pick Up system, but was unable to change my form of payment, so I ultimately called the store to place my order. The employee who answered was very sweet, and though she said I really needed to place my order online, she said she would go ahead and get the order started, since I was only ordering 2 Cubans with chips. I thought that was so nice, as I was driving my car at the time. I arrived about 10 minutes later, drove through the drive-thru, gave them my My Panera Rewards card and Visa, got my bags and went home for dinner. My husband and I opened our boxes, and to say that this was what I had envisioned sinking my teeth into after a long day at work would be incorrect. There was merely a swipe of mustard, a few pickles, a piece of cheese, a meager dab of ham, and no pork whatsoever. I realize things happen, but the store was not busy---I was one of 2 cars in the drive-thru, obviously no customers inside, because of Covid-19, and they were making 2 of the same sandwich---how the heck do you screw up that badly?? Also, our bill was $19.79, and my Free Chocolate Chip Muffie (your current offer for orders of $10 or more) was neither offered nor included. I'm very disappointed with this level of "customer care." The product provided at this location is very inconsistent in its quality and presentation. I will think twice before I decide to go back. Too bad---I really like their menu. read more

Very disappointed is the take/out sandwich I got last night. Mozzeralla & Tomato panini on flat bread. The cheese was less than a serving of sliced mozzarella and 2 thin slices of tomato. Mostly stuffed with sprigs of kale. I will not be returning anytime soon, unless it's for a bagel. read more
