Clean and parking upfront was for pickup orders on the app. Touchscreens to order, as well. The bacon double take breakfast sandwich on pepper focaccia was ok, a bit on the dry side even with the bacon and cheese. Tea was light, not too strong, so that was nice. read more

Ok so I want to give the food a 4.5. Both my husband and myself had delicious breakfast sandwiches. It wasn't till the end that we had to use the bathrooms. They are dirties bathrooms I have ever seen. Sticky floor, urinal hasn't bed. Cleaned in a year. It was bad enough to change my review to a 3. I was very uncomfortable after that and am not sure if we will be going back read more

Food was great, service request medium, manager started yapping very loudly inserted destructing the ambience, which some people are trying to eat can this manager stop yapping as loud as possible some people are trying to enjoy their food! I would give this place 2 1/2 , Manager is other employees that's probably disrupting their work and people are trying to get their food which if you're talking to someone how about wait for the conversation to be over or until the employee is on lunch break! Manager just started talking about some stupid S*** like "oh yeah, how is your daughter" Can the owner of the business reply to this message, or just read the message and get this manager transferred to another Panera Bread read more

Go to Panera when I was part of the unlimited sip club. I only came here to pick up and go. But if I ever ordered any food and it would be ready by the time I arrive so like 10-15 minutes. I didn't have much interaction with the staff, but it is always clean and there are always some individuals sitting in. There's also seats outside if you want to sit in the sun while having your lunch or morning coffee. I don't visit much anymore, as I am no longer participating in the unlimited sip club. But this is definitely a solid Panera and what you would expect from a Panera. read more

First time eating at any Panera. I am unsure what everyone else was complaining about because our experience was great. Easy touch screen ordering. I really, really like that they provide listed ingredients for their food. I have a dairy allergy and have a hard time finding new, and allergy friendly meals. The place was really clean. It felt like a classy New York coffee shop. I got 10 vegetable soup in a bread bowl with a green smoothie. My wife got cheddar broccoli Mac n cheese in a bread bowl. My soup was ok. The bread bowl delicious. The smoothie was pretty good. My wife really liked her food. The price is cheaper than most everyone else around that area. I liked it. read more

We've been to Panera Breads all over the country. You can generally expect to get about the same food and service no matter where you are. Same here. Food is fairly good. Nothing of note. It's Panera. Points off for the food not being ready despite ordering ahead of time and getting the email that my food was ready and on the shelf. read more

Me and my bf felt sick this morning and all we wanted was some soup , walked in and there were probably 30 people in line , all just waiting on their food , they got our drink order wrong , took another 10 minutes to get our new DRINK , finally sat down to eat and literally had to throw everything away it was 40$ for 2 half soup half sammys and a drink each . i remember saying sure lets go i havent been there in forever, and now i remember why . It felt like a hospital cafeteria, with worse food . read more

The Mac and cheese was amazing. 5 stars. I thank you for your contribution to my daily intake of large Amounts of carbohydrates.

I don't know what it is about this Panera but it's always a hit or miss when I come here and I really only come here with a certain friend because when she wants to eat cheap she wants to go here. Pros: The atmosphere lends itself to you lounging around. Some people go there to work and stay all day. The ingredients are fresh and seasonal. And the baguettes are chewy. Cons: Ordering kiosks can be great until their not. The ones at Panera are more complicated than they should be. On my last visit my friend and I tried to complete our order three times only to get to the end and find nothing but a beverage there. We wound up going to the cashier instead but my friends order still was not right when it arrived. She asked for the Modern Greek but got the Regular Greek. Sometimes people go to far with their lounging. It's still a restaurant not your living room. The management should enforce some type of etiquette. And last, going back to the menu I struggle to find things I'm excited about other than soup. read more

Great place to conduct business and have a good meal. The food is served at the right temperature and presented well.

I was very pleasantly surprised with lunch at Panera today. I sprang for their Lobster Roll, which was outstanding! Certainly not cheap, but bursting with fresh and tasty lobster meat, and a minimum of mayo, with a little lettuce, on a very fresh roll. Maybe that is $10 at a roadstand in Kennebunkport, Maine, but not in Wilmington, Delaware. The free refills on drinks, and a pleasant atmosphere with comfortable seats, make the whole package one I'll try again. Easy self-service. read more

Hmmm... I placed an order w the app for rapid pick up. Upon arriving to the restaurant I noticed trash all over by the front door (how inviting) and a gaggle of customers waiting for food. A rep I assume some one of authority was just standing watching the others prepare food. When customers asked her where their food was she had no idea and called out orders to the other workers in an attempt to help. I watched a customer come in and was told to place her order on the kiosk instead of eagerly assisting her. Hmm. In regards to the food I got the turkey blt w avocado which I wolfed down in the car ( never not satisfied w it) and the green goddess Cobb, which seemed like the lettuce was going bad and to be honest I didn't feel comfortable eating the chicken. If you have time and patience, just head over to the location in the brandywine town center. read more

they make you wait over 30 minutes for your food. I've done it two different times. The worst part is the best they can offer you is a pastry, not even half off your order. An absolute joke. they say they're short staffed, but figure it out or else I'll never be to a Panera again. read more

I am all about some Panera Bread, but this has to be the worst location I've ever been to. The front area is poorly designed. They put tablets up so you can self-order, but it blocks where the lines go to the register. So people are trying to stand in line to order, but wrapping around the stations and others are trying to get through the line to the stations. It's a big cluster. The staff member standing in the door trying to direct you to use the tablets was incredibly rude. She made it very obvious she did not want to be there. The tables in the place were all dirty. We ended up wiping one off ourselves because we couldn't find a clean one. The containers of used plates/utensils were full and nobody was taking care of them. The food took forever to come out. I know the soup is already made, so that shouldn't have taken so long. My side was incorrect but I didn't bother going up to say anything because I didn't want to wait for someone to acknowledge me or for someone to then give me an attitude. It's a good location if you are trying to meet up with someone, but expect it to not be a quick experience. It might be easier/quicker if you ordered ahead and just picked it up then sat down somewhere inside. read more

Came at 7pm on 10-05-22. Store closes at 9pm. Staff put a sign up saying closed at the door while inside hanging out. Me and one other person try to come in and the staff on other side of glass just ignored customers outside. read more

Couldn't find anywhere for customer feedback on the website or app, so I came here to complain. I've had food from this restaurant several times before and it was always good and fresh but today was a different story. I ordered the Spicy Thai salad. More than half of the romaine lettuce in my salad was old and a few pieces looked rotten. Some of it looked like it had been previously frozen. Everything else in the salad tasted good once I picked it out! read more

They have never messed an order up and I've been going here for about a year and a half. The rapid pick up is amazing with an amazing app and high-quality food. I suggest this place for anyone looking for any meal, anytime of the day. The only bummer would be that they close at 9 o'clock but hey you've got to have limits. read more

They've installed the DIY kiosks so there's hardly ever a team member at the register. Also, it's been five minutes and my order's not even on the "preparing" list. It's not busy. There are maybe 4 couples and one group here. read more

This place is disgusting. Their service sucks, they won't give you utensils with your online orders. The "NEW" flatbread is so nasty. It literally tasted as if it was still frozen. The manager was running around like crazy - probably cleaning up after the staff's service. You'd think with the pandemic It would be clean - NOPE. Almost every table was disgusting. I would NOT recommend. read more

One thing I really don't like about this location is parking is terrible. During the lunchtime rush, the entire section at the north end, where Panera Bread is located, gets full and you may even have a problem finding parking in the next farther section too. This strip mall really doesn't have enough parking spaces in periods of time when all the mall stores are busy. This Panera location is a typical Panera Bread, which is to say I haven't actually had anything outstanding from here. However, soup in a bread bowl is decent comfort food and at least part of their menu is devoted to trying new flavors. Prices are a tad on the high side for what you get though. On the plus side, I've never had problems with the service here and they always handle any coupons or deals I bring in efficiently. Panera offers free WiFi, although it's not very fast and not really meant for heavy work. But it'll do fine for Twitter and for posting some low-res food photos. read more

I hadn't been here in a few years and now I remember why. A friend and I had lunch there today. The chicken salad sandwich was all lettuce and tomato and almost no chicken. Bread was fresh but crust really hard to bite into. My friend had one of the bowl offerings and could barely eat it due to poor quality of the ingredients. The finishing touch was no toilet paper or paper towels in the ladies room. If that wasn't enough when we went to dispose of our uneaten food and dishes, the bin was so overloaded with dirty dishes we had to move them to dispose of our stuff. If I could have given them no stars I would have. Very sad to see. read more

This isn't the first time I have visited this location, but today they struck out. First, they backordered our meal, literally holding up a grilled cheese sandwich while 12 to 14 orders went through. Seriously, a grilled cheese. I finally had to ask. Strike one. Then, when we got our grill cheese, they rushed it so much that the cheese wasn't melted and the bread barely singed. And when I got back to our table I noticed that my Panini also really hadn't been grilled, with the cheese completely unmelted. It wasn't even warm. I might attach a photo of Yelp lets me. Strike two. Finally, while the receipt clearly says, it'll it isn't right, we'll comp you. My comp? A desultory "sorry." Strike three. Never been a huge fan though my wife and kids like it. But my money is going elsewhere now read more

The only thing that didn't have an attitude was the toilets. Went there around 8 am, with no wait, plenty of staff but had to wait for coffee for over 20 mins - asked nicely a couple of times, but got an "OH MY GOD" as a response from one of the staff. Sorry for asking to do your job? Will never go to this Panera again. read more

I ordered online because there was an offer for free delivery and I had a gift card I wanted to use up. I ordered 4 loaves of bread. My order arrived on time and packaged very well. I can't comment on all the bread because I froze 3 loaves and we only ate one. The one we did eat with our supper was excellent. Thanks for Panera for having great products and delivery service during this COVID19 pandemic. read more

Oddly impressed by (this) Panera. My Modern Greek Salad with Quinoa was large and fresh. There was a large dining area, which could have passed for the dining room of a chain with table service. My group of three received our food quickly, and had pleasant encounters with the staff. This is not a four star review by fine dining standards, but a four star for a fast food-chain standard. read more

one of the employee was very rude and disrespectful because ask them questions about the food on the menu.

They will cancel your order when "busy" after almost an hour of waiting. Great experience

Dirt and crumbs, dirt and empty sugar packets, endless dirt and crumpled straw wrappers. This place is the worst Panera I've ever been to. The carpets are weeping to be replaced. It's not even funny. Dirty dishes stacked high above the silverware bin. Dirty cleaning towels everywhere else but where they belong. The music is a joke - BACK to the drawing board!!! Dirt all behind the sullen seat cushions. And the workers, the poor heroic workers... Are they making a living wage!? Do they deserve it!!!? If you've got time to be on your cracked screen smartphone, you've got time to TAKE SOME PRIDE AND KEEP THE PLACE CLEAN!!!!!!! I'm convinced a rotation of homeless people *live* here. A/C vents dirty & disgusting. Lightning... is actually great. Work on the carpet to save this place. I can't even..... I'm gagging at how utterly filthy it is. Bathrooms are okay. I'm grossed out by these sad floors.... Please revive this once great spot! read more

I am utterly disappointed with my experience at the Panera on Fairfax. I placed an order for a caesar salad for rapid pick up, as I had to return to work. When I got back to work and opened up my salad, I had to throw the entire $8 meal away. Not only was my whole salad not even half way full, but there was chicken in it. I couldn't eat the salad, as I am a vegetarian. Not only was I disappointed and now hungry, but frustrated because their online app has no place to voice your concerns. I would have liked to get a refund, as the salad was not even half way full and included things I didn't ask for and could not eat. read more

I'd like to give a shout out to Panera for great service. Last week, I accidently placed an online order for pick-up. When I arrived and didn't see my order, I checked my confirmation email and realized that I had selected the wrong Wilmington, DE Panera and would need to go to the correct one to pick up my order. A very astute manager realized my dilemma and without asking offered to call the other Panera to cancel my order and to fulfill my order while I waited. It took only 5 minutes for me to get my order. Great customer service. The manager certainly went above and beyond. read more

SUPER friendly! Especially Meghan who was at the register. Wonderful food, and I just can't get over how nice the employees were!

Agree with the woman who said the only thing without an attitude is the toilet. They got everything wrong with the order. The manager tried to make it right so at least she was nice. No hello. No smile. No thanks. Just a grumpy staff. read more

This place is ok. I will say its not as clean as the others I've visited in terms of seating areas. This is my 3rd time here and I sit in the back for outlet access for my computer and I've been noticing dirty tables, floors, and chairs. The ones in my area stay on top of cleanliness. Here they are obviously a little more relaxed. But the crew are very sweet and polite. read more

Panera has opened up a new location in the Fairfax shopping center. It is next to the Sherwin Williams and Dress Barn. Parking is a bear.
