Tonight we ordered rapid pick up. Good thing I checked my order before we left. Our desserts were not in the bag, when I went to the counter an older woman helped me. We ordered a chocolate chip cookie they had no more so we had to choose something else. When we got home and looked at our sandwiches we were appalled see photos below. The weren't made correctly either. The Italian was to have arugula and it did not. The steak and cheese should have been on a ciabatta and it was on French baguette. Very disappointing and not worth the money. read more

Panera Bread - Sandwiches Near Me - Wall Township, New Jersey

The only words I have for this place is a joke. Very poorly managed and my family and I arrived at around 6:45 and they were out of bread. It is called Panera Bread and they are out of bread. This is not my first bad experience there. read more

The food is nice and fresh. I enjoy their soups and sandwich choices. The chocolate chip cookies are delicious...ask for a warm one. Plenty of plugs for your laptop, iPhone or iPad. Not cheap, but fresh always costs more. The staff has always been accommodating and friendly. read more

Dont come here. Every single time I get something here the order is wrong and takes forever. I give up on this location. Save your time and money and go someplace else read more

How do you have 1 cashier on the register at lunch time almost every time I come here? She takes orders, does pastry & make smoothies & it's JUST ONE CASHIER AT NOONTIME!!!! REALLY????? You need better management in the Ocean Twp Panera!! read more

Panera has disappointed me over and over and over again. They have messed up on my order at least six times (I'm a very lenient person and give the benefit of the doubt usually). They have forgotten ingredients, replaced ingredients, and even did not have my meal ready for me at my scheduled Rapid Pick-Up time. I have always gone to Panera only during my lunch time at work and my time is limited. I have returned to work late from lunch on multiple occasions because of the staff. When I have had to talk to them about my orders, they seem to really not care at all. The only reason I gave Panera 2 stars is because they gave me a free meal one time after messing up one of my meals. The mediocre meals and attitude of the staff are not worth my time or money. read more

Love this location. I like all panera breads, but this location is definitely the most modern one I've been to. I love the atmosphere on the inside; super bright and up-to-date. There is a huge bar with a ton of outlets to plug into, and of course wifi. Great place to study and get work done, or to meet and have coffee. Would definitely recommend this location over others read more

My fiancé ordered a whole sandwich at this location (Wall) along with a pick two on his way home to work. We live about 20 minutes away and when he looked inside the bag when he got home, they had forgotten his entire sandwich. He was extremely upset after working outside in the hot sun all day, and was really hungry and pissed off. I called right away and hit the button for manager. NO ONE ANSWERED. Then I hit the button to make a phone order. NO ONE ANSWERED. So I had to drive ALL THE WAY BACK because they wouldn't answer the phone. I get there and they give me my sandwich and I explain what happened. I asked them if they could give me anything for the inconvenience. The guy offers me a half sandwich for free which I really appreciate because I order from this location almost every other day. Then a lady comes to the window, and immediately I'm on the defense because of her body language. "How can I help you?" I tell her I'm just waiting. "For what?" She asks with attitude. And I tell her the guy is making my sandwich. She goes "No, we don't do that." "We don't give away things for free" I said but I had to drive all the way back here to fix your mistake. She tells me I should've called and I let her know I called TWICE. No one picked up the phone. I ask if there's anything she can give me for the inconvenience because I order here all the time. She says "No." It's such a shame. Some people just don't belong in customer service. Her entire aura screamed attitude. I mean she wasn't even apologetic. I love Panera, but I no longer like this location. read more

Worst salads ever! I got one piece of avocado in my salad. I ordered a whole but got the half size in my to go order. I waited 17 minutes for 2 salads to go with ONE customer in front of me. Never ever going back again. Do they even make the to go salads fresh?!! Found FROZEN lettuce at the bottom! read more

I have always liked Panera. It is consistent and reliable, although relatively pricey, apart from this location. Since this opened it has been poorly managed and staffed. I have had several very poor experiences, including tonight. On one occasion I ordered in the store and did not know the procedure for being served. No one could tell me why ordering by using my app was not working and what to do otherwise. It took 10 minutes to sort out the problem and order. I also tried the quick pick up, which took much longer than the 8 minutes you are promised. When I went in to the store 15 minutes later, I went to the window and waited while the employees fooled around, talking and laughing and not attending to the orders that had been placed, and I tried to get their attention to ask where my food was. It was infuriating. Tonight I went through the drive thru, in which I was one of 3 cars. I will never do this again. It took over 20 minutes to order. When I got home with the food, the order was wrong and the quinoa bowl w chicken (at nearly $10) was not even half full and contained no chicken. I called the store for over 20 minutes and no one would answer the phone. I finally called the Panera corporate customer service number and spoke to someone who was very nice and who was not happy that the store would not answer their phone at 6pm on a Tuesday, and had done such a poor job with my order. My advice? Go to another Panera or better yet? Go to the Wendy's or Whole Foods across the street. Skip this restaurant all together. read more

They have messed up my order countless times. At first I fought they were new so let it go. But it just never got better. Most of the staff is rude and incompetent. Also very expensive for what you get. One time I was the only person in drive-thru. I ordered iced coffee and a small salad. Took 20 mins. read more

Tastes good but every time I've gotten macaroni and cheese I have found a hair that isn't mine. First time was a long black hair, second time was a short black hair that kinda looked like dog hair, I didn't go for months because of this but I tried again for maybe a redemption the other day but there was an eyelash in my food. Please do something about this. I still have the food in my fridge so I can take a photo if needed. Really good food but this is a gross ongoing issue. read more

The staff here was super friendly and I received my food quickly. I noticed they changed gloves after working with a peanut butter sandwich which i appreciate because I have an allergy! I will definitely return. read more

Quinoa chicken bowl would be great if they didn't make it a soup. And by soup I mean sodium broth. They go through all of this trouble to use healthy chicken and healthy quinoa and then smother it in sodium soup. And it's not even listed under soups and it is a soup for sure. It's even served with a spoon. But it's listed as a bowl and the pic makes it look like quinoa and chicken in a bowl, which would actually be nice read more

I have been a customer of this store for several years and never had an issue: I hadn't been to the store in a year due to the pandemic. I went to the drive in window and ordered a salad and specifically ordered it without mandarin oranges (my receipt even states that) When I got to my office and opened my bag there were the beautiful mandarin oranges that I can't eat. I decided to contact Panera via their website customer service as I didn't have time to return to the store. I emailed Panera provided the order number the store information and was very specific that I wanted my money back. When the person from customer service contacts me he offers me rewards points. when i again explain that I couldn't eat the food and I want my money back. We go back and forth and I ask to speak to his manager (which was ignored twice) he finally agrees to refund my money if it gets approved and it could take 30 days. I then had to resupply all the relevant information again to this person. I am frustrated and will now say Panera has lost a customer. The bill was only $12.00 but what horrible customer service. Shame on you Panera. A loyal customer bites the dust. read more

Shouldn't open in this area if can't get their act together. Place is a nice size and set up for comfort but is poorly run. First Panera Bread that I've been to where you are expected to pick up your own tray of food when eating in. I was offered plastic utensils today to use to eat my soup, butter the bread, and cut my sandwich. When I went to the cashier to protest, he was gracious enough to wash a set of utensils for me (and also for an elderly woman who was served before me). Common sense is not being exercised by management in this location and Panera Bread should be embarrassed. read more

Someone else previously commented on the cleanliness and I agree. For some reason they put in carpeted areas and it is filthy. Lost my appetite. read more

Last week was the third time I ordered a salad with chicken and they did not put the chicken. I went through the drive through all three times, I should have checked he bag before I left. I contacted customer support a week ago and they never got back to me. I won't be going there again because I am continuously charged form something I did not get. read more

Disappointed with this new location. I agree with other review it was dirty! Only a month old can't imagine what it will be like a year from now. Women's room floor was filthy and the eating area looked like someone went over it with a dirty mop. read more

The new layout very inviting in comparison to the older traditional stores. Very bright, spacious with varied seating options. Visited 2 night in a row around 6:30pm. Service was good & food quality as expected. Was not pleased with the cleanliness of the place. Many tables had crumbs on them in addition to food & crumbs on seats & chairs. The disposal areas were filled with dirty trays, plates & silverware..so dirty dishes were just piled on top. In the area with carpet, crumbs & straw papers. This isn't very inviting for a supper place. Please keep on top of cleaning. It's not very inviting! Unfortunate because this is a cool food idea. read more

Got there at 10:02am, ordered at 10:10am. It took 3 tries for Izzy the cashier to get it right. Finally, at 10:20 I pulled up and she said, "It's not me" It took 5 minutes to get my 1 breakfast sandwich FROM THE COOK STATION. It was wrong TO THE POINT WHERE THEY ADDED ANOTHER INGREDIANT THAT WAS NOT EVEN PART OF THE SANDWICH, and they charged me for a bagel which was not in the bag that I did not order. DO NOT GO HERE, THE WAIT IS HORRENDOUS, THE EMPLOYEES DO NOT CARE, and the food was terrible. I go to the Panera in Marlboro and in all these years this has never happened. To the manager of the Panera bread store, if you are reading this my Check number is 1363255 read more

We go to this Panera a lot because it is the one closest to us. However every time we go they ALWAYS mess up the order. I don't know how they can take SO long and still manage to screw up the order. I got an Asian chicken salad... and they forgot the chicken. This is just one of the MANY examples they mess up. I highly recommend you go somewhere else. read more

This Panera is managed poorly, this brand new store is dirty, and the staff are sub-par. Bathroom is filthy. Managers are "disheveled" - along with much of the staff ....what can I say? I won't be back, it's a shame as I do like their soup selection - read more

Better have a good novel to read or a great playlist to listen to while waiting forever in the drive thru. Then only to find out they put like 2 things of lettuce in a bowl and call it a salad. read more

Extremely disappointing! I came here after some tennis and expected the usual Panera quality. My companion asked for the Mediterranean Veggie sandwich and instead was greeted with lukewarm soup (which was awful by the way). I had a sandwich with ciabatta bread which was rock hard and probably stale. Terrible management. This location needs to get their act together. read more

Went there recently and sat in the drive-up for 20 minutes. This was around 6 at night. Ordered a tuna sandwich which was a sloppy mess and couldn't even eat it! When finally got up to the window employees were standing around laughing and talking fooling around rather than being worried about a line full of customers! Love Panera bread but don't know that I will be back to this location! read more

I used to like Panera Bread, but, it has gone downhill the last 2 years. The stores are staffed with-incompetent employees and managers . They must pay them very poorly, good people can not afford to work their. The coffee is old , cold and stale, all the time, when you ask an employee about it the look in stock and up to heaven-for an answer. When you ask a manager ,when was the coffee made ? He says will make fresh coffee now, I wait 10 minutes and still no coffee. This place is a joke. They're supposed to have the time posted when it was made , most times the do not. Other time it's posted it's over 2 hours ago.I have to go to WAWA ,DUNKING OR STARBUCKS for fresh coffee. In the last week some MBA.in the Corporate office changed their pastries, for the worst. The main reason I when in was for their cobbler stone, which was the very best. They no longer make or sell cobbler stones. I no longer have any reason to go to Panera Bread. Good bye. read more
