After dropping off a family member at the airport, I swung over to Eureka Way to eat at the Panera Bread in Taylor. I wanted to have a location to eat lunch and update my planner. Plus, use my Unlimited Sip Club. Membership has its privileges! I extrapolate that they were understaffed. There was no one available at the counter to take an order. With the self-serve kiosks available, this is a whole new ball game! After began placing my order on the kiosk, a jovial gentleman came to the counter to take the order of the person that came in after me. I ordered the seasonal Harvest Medley Chicken Salad which comes with a baguette. The salad was tasty. I never have cared for the baguettes because they are always so hard at all locations. I forgot to substitute an apple or a bag of chips. I also ordered the new recipe cinnamon roll which was dry. I'm not sure if it was truly made with love. The restaurant has your own self-serve tea and coffee station. This is a plus to prepare your hot drinks to your liking. I like two tea bags for my drink. The restaurant has lots of seating options. This was the perfect place to grab a window seat, sign on to the FREE WI-FI to get some work done. I was there for a couple of hours. I hadn't done that before. In that time frame, I saw lots of customers come and go. I also witnessed staff coming to clean off the tables as customers would leave. read more

They gave me a bread bowl that only had a cup not a bowl with it, and my bread bowl wasn't cut. They just gave me the bread! Plus it was cold. I had to heat up the bread and the soup. Not cool for an order that was almost $20 At least they got my salad right. read more

Again, my drive thru order was made wrong and missing items. Pop with extra ice came pop with 4 ice cubes. Missing the bag of chips. I had 3 items and they still missing one. I have been a couple times the only issue I have with this location is that chocolate chip cookies can be very hard to bite compared to other locations where the cookie is crunchy but not hard. But I typically get the pick two with a Caesar salad and tuna sandwich. No complaints there. I enjoy the food here. The service has been great as well. And they are always clean. read more

My order was made incorrectly twice on the same visit. The first time I ordered, my green goddess sandwich was served with ONLY bread, cheese and turkey (I paid extra for the turkey). Told the staff behind the counter, I was told they were going to bring the missing sandwich items to me ??? Strange but ok. After I sat down with my sad sandwich, my husband sees and takes it back to the staff and requests a remake of the sandwiches. Update :-( Working from home wanted a coffee and decided that Panera maybe has gotten their act together nope. Ordered delivery Grilled cheese substitute with EXTRA fresh mozzarella, add spinach and emerald greens and salt and pepper. BF got the Broccoli soup, and a bagel with cream cheese for his breakfast tomorrow before he leaves town Chocolate chip cookie 2/5-Greasy- glad it was an add on item did 99 cents Large iced coffee 2/5- asked for light half and half Grilled cheese 1/5 burned, no salt, no pepper, no extra cheese Broccoli 3/5- nothing wrong just lukewarm, their soup is out of a bag anyway so don't ever expect it to taste like it's fresh. I called the store regarding the missing cream cheese and spoke to Jim. (Really needs to learn customer service skills). I don't really need to be yelled at..when I was super nice about it. When I asked for a refund/credit for my bagel purchase he asked why should he because "what are the butters for?". Well Jim I put them on the baguette when I eat it. I love the carbs. My Bf is not going to eat a plain bagel so it's already in the trash. Keep the $3 bucks. I never review Paneras, you'be seen one - you've seen them all. However this location had bad reviews and when we went there on 1/19/25 we had the best customer service. The lady taking our order helped us by changing our order to save money but get more food. She also was patient enough to type in our gift cards. The expo guy was nice to everyone. Extremely disturbing experience this morning. I have a monthly coffee subscription at Panera and get a cup once a week at best. This morning my experience was a bit different to say the least. I was nearly physically attacked by the supervisor who's name was Jim. I'm still in shock. Jim insisted I leave the restaurant due to not having a proper face mask. However, there were other customers without face cover. What scares me the most, Jim had walked up maybe 10 inches from my face at best. At this point I just want to forget this ever happened and hopefully history doesn't repeat itself with Jim and Panera being careless about who they hire. Also, I ordered my coffee with two espresso shots and sugar and have neither in this cup. Needless to say, my monthly subscription will be canceled after this review. I have gone to this Panera Bread on 4 different occasions within a week. 1st time my lemonade was missing. No big deal, drove back up there and was given my lemonade. The other 2 times no problems. However this 4th the time I ordered the Napa Almond Chicken salad sandwich with extra chicken salad. From the look of the pictures I didn't even get a spoonful of chicken salad!!!!!! I'm beyond annoyed and pissed off. I don't know if the workers could careless than a damn about customer service or if this was the last of chicken salad for the night, but this was unacceptable!!!!!!! I would give a ZERO stars if I could. The worst Panera I have EVER been too. We ordered a bagel and an egg sandwich and it no joke took FOURTY minutes. Once we finally got our food I checked to make sure it was right and it of course was not what we ordered so I went to the pickup counter and told them and a blonde lady with short hair and a yellow shirt (I'm thinking the manager) got snotty telling me it was only going to be two minutes after I explained that we had already been there for 40 minutes waiting on two things. They finally had my sandwich ready and the same lady in the yellow shirt THREW the sandwich at me across the counter. Thought it was over there so we went to our car and went to eat our food and you'll never guess there was a short black hair in our food. We said screw it and took our business somewhere else. But there's so many people working but they're doing nothing. Last 2 times I've been here we place pick up orders 30 minutes in advance and when we got there they still weren't ready, we had to wait an hour for the orders. And today there was a man telling everyone in the drive thru and in the store that his staff wasn't trained so it was going to take them a very long time to finish any orders. I have been to the Taylor, Michigan store a number of times. Each time that I have been there, training is going on in the dining room. Why do I have to listen to the training session when I'm trying to enjoy my meal. I have tried to sit in different locations and you can still hear everything that's going on. I overheard a woman manager speak to an obviously teen employee, who had honestly doing nothing wrong, in a manner one might discipline a naughty dog. She wanted the employee, who was walking around the dining room offering assistance, to continue to do so - even though the kid had been mindful of customers short of blowing their noses for them. Honestly, sometimes you just want to enjoy your meal without some poor kid being forced to ask you for the 7th time if she can help you with anything. This is a great place to work. I love my job. Our new store is beautiful and all the new customers are super nice! I can't speak for everyone who works there but we can go on break and we DONT HAVE to eat Panera. You can bring your own food. That's why we have microwaves.
