I hadn't eaten at Panera in a while. But today I specifically wanted to try Panera because I wanted something fast but PURE And whenever I think of PURE food, Panera always comes to mind. I went with half of a Toasted Italiano Sandwich and it didn't disappoint. I kept all the stock fixing and I did a half sandwich as a combo with a Caesar salad. It was the best $11 I ever spent on a perfectly proportioned meal. None of that terrible feeling that you get after eating at other fast food restaurants. And another perk is that Panera has the $5 drink club. Refill your drink as much as you want all month long for $5. Enjoy the free high speed wifi. It's such a great homely atmosphere to just relax after you're done eating and maybe take care of some work; as well. read more

I don't go to Panera bread very frequently but I stopped by this location because it was right off I-90. When I came here on mid-day Sunday, it was empty, no lines and the service was quick and accommodating. When ordering, I asked the cashier if certain foods had onion in it and he was a little hesitant and not very sure. I didn't like that. As for the food, overall it was good. My son had the Chipotle chicken avo melt and liked it. I had the Ciabatta Cheesesteak. To be honest, I expected more. The bread was too soft, and there wasn't alot of cheese and steak. But it was pretty good. I liked how we got a free side of chips or apple. Since we had a dog, we were able to sit at the outdoor dining area. It was pretty nice and quiet. For reference, they have space to dine inside as well. Overall, this is a great place to stop and grab food and I recommend it. read more

I'm always a fan of Panera, but I especially enjoyed this location. It's located in a strip mall, with plenty of other options nearby. The interior was warm and cozy, especially right next to the fireplace. I ordered ahead and my food was ready to go when I arrived. I was really happy with their salad offerings, especially the ability to customize with various toppings. The dressings weren't bad either. I just wish the taste was a bit less salty, but that's to be expected when dining out. read more

This Panera was located in my hotel's parking lot. Had a drive thru! Food was good, but my salad was not very fresh (lettuce was yellow-ish and wilting). Bathroom facilities left more to the imagination... read more

I'll be blunt - Jackie ( apparently a manager) was one of the rudest hospitality workers that I have ever encountered. From the very beginning to the end of our experience, she just kept notching up the rude. My 16 year old was equally appalled, and she was (at 16) incredulous. I believe Jackie is in the wrong profession. read more

This Panera was a quick walk from our hotel, just across the parking lot. Soups were pretty standard although I thought that $9 a bowl was pretty steep for takeout. I'm glad they still serve it with a generous chunk of their bread. Service at this particular location was efficient and friendly. The place looked new or at least was well maintained. read more

First and last time I get takeout using app. No one this location has a CLUE. First mistake was ordering takeout using drive up window, not much time saved when the 7 cars ahead of you are ordering and waiting - so i went inside. Getting a window order at counter seems easy right??? No. Excuse after excuse, the final One being oh we didnt hit start button on sandwiches - after a 15 minute delay in a mostly empty restaurant i got food and a complimentary cookie for my trouble. All the people were nice cant fault anyone, but pandemonium in kitchen everyone running and accomplishing nothing - i deserved better that a F cookie, any manager worth jack would see how bad this was going and comp the order - that is what makes loyalty. This place has always been great and today did not disappoint. I went through the drive thru and ordered and was greeted with a good morning, I didn't feel rushed and he repeated everything at the end. Same thing at the window, a good morning, he took his time and handed each item one at a time, and said "thank you Mark". The food was perfect, as well as the coffee. Perfect! My visit at Panera was very pleasant. I obviously have used them for takeout on their mobile app. Their mobile app is very easy to use and you can get your food faster by doing it this way. It's right on route 20 in Sturbridge so it's a highly active area with a lot of traffic going into the restaurant. They have an easy and accessible drive-thru. The parking lot is shared with other buildings so it can be a little difficult finding a convenient spot. The inside stays very clean and the staff is very nice. The food tasted great and fresh, probably one of the best Italian sandwiches I've ever had. It was a little on the oily side on the ciabatta bread other than that though I had a great experience visiting Panera in Sturbridge. read more

8-9am 10/29/25...just got my rustic bread and the lady (middle aged) at the counter was super nice, I mean, I dont care what happens for the rest of the day, she made my day, old school I missed such service when people call you sweetheart! young kids dont do that. she called me sweetheart 3 times, and lucky- are her coworkers, who got to spend a day with her. lots of positive energy! god bless this woman! btw the bread is excellent also! read more

I stop in about once a week for a bakers dozen and the yummy chive cream cheese but haven't gone in for awhile for lunch. It was fantastic. Kim, who was our cashier is ALWAYS so kind and pleasant whenever we see her Today I tried the classic grilled cheese which was yummy and perfectly grilled . I have stopped coming to this Panera. The last time I went, I put in an online order for a bagel and a coffee, arrived at the time it told me to, and still waited for over 30 mins for my order! There was a customer inside who was clearly irate. He was talking to the manager and requesting a refund bc he had been waiting for an hour for a breakfast sandwich. And when the sandwich finally came out, it was wrong. The whole place seemed overwhelmed and disorganized. I am a Panera customer elsewhere and I have not seen anything like this. read more

My Honest Review. I went there twice with a family member and both times I got a chicken salad and a cheddar broccoli soup. While eating in the food seemed good but expensive. The soup was very salty though. In an effort to not cook dinner one night my Husband and I, our two kids decided we would order food to go. Not only was our orders messed up but there were items missing and also the portions of the salads were so ridiculously small. We were not at all impressed with our order. Stopped in yesterday on a Thursday morning. There was no coffee in 2 of the urns. When I reported this - the cashier said she would get the coffee from the drive through. Ok; I hate writing these types of reviews but I just had a horrible experience at this location. I went to the drive thru with my daughter and we ordered a sandwich, no tomato. Well it came with the tomato. Good thing it isn't an allergy. Second the lady who waited on us at the drive-thru could not have been more rude. No hello, just dirty looks at my daughter. No have a nice day, nothing. We felt as if we were bothering her. I wish I caught her name, but she was on the shorter side with dark hair. Who ever she is, recognize you are working with the public and be kind or maybe this isn't the job for you. My daughter kept asking when we left, what the heck did I do to that woman? Went through drive-thru. Order coffee, bagel and cream cheese. Received in bag without bagel cut in half and cream cheese container. Asked for it to be cut since I was driving and was told no. Didn't get receipt and had to sit and wait for the attendant to return to the window to get it. For just under $8 the the bagel was hard and uncut. Was very disappointed that the attendant didn't care and handed me a plastic knife and was told to do it myself. Won't be coming back. Would rather go to an establishment a half mile down the road and get it for cheaper. read more

We ordered 4 bowls of soup (a total of $30) for takeout. All cups of soup had very little cheese and barely any onions. It was like if we were having just onion broth. For the cost of these items, they can put more effort in making sure that the soups has enough cheese and actual onions. Not worthy and not ordering again unless I eat in the restaurant. read more

Jennifer at the front counter was rude. No hello, no thank you. No nothing. My friend didn't get her cookie with her food so we went back up to get it. Jennifer then turned around and reprimanded the male employee, at the other register, for not giving us the cookie. She was the one who took both our orders. We felt bad for the guy. The food at the location is always good. The service is consistently not. Twice now we've ordered curbside to go. The first time waited 20 minutes outside past the time we received an email stating the order was ready and someone would be out. I say 20 minutes because then we went in to get it ourselves. No one apologized or even acknowledged they messed up. Found out when we got home one meal was missing. Took about 15 minutes of being on hold to get a manager on the phone. Then today decided to try again. Only waited 10 minutes past the email saying our meals were ready and someone would be out before we went in. Again no acknowledgement they messed up.
