I ordered on a weekday when I forgot my lunch. It was pretty busy--it took about 12 min for my "you pick two" order to be ready. I got a cup of broccoli cheddar soup and a half frontega chicken sandwich. The soup was great if not small portion. The sandwich was warm.

Pathetic Classic Avo Toast
Darla E.

Pathetic! They recently added avo toasts to the menu and I was happy to give the classic avo toast a try. Big no no! I don't know what the person in the kitchen was thinking but please retrain the entire staff. What I paid for was an oversized piece of bread slathered with the thinnest possible layer of guacamole and sprinkled with more bagel seasoning than it had spread. Do improve Panera! I'm sorely disappointed and returning for a refund.

Chicken poppyseed salad

I had a long standing love affair with Panera's bowls, especially being a vegetarian health coach. They were an oasis in a fast food world that I could count on particularly when on the road. I was so disappointed to learn they are no longer offered as of spring! Whaah! I settled for one of their few plant centric menu items, not expecting a whole lot, but the Mediterranean veggie sandwich didn't disappoint. Not a wow like the now missing bowls, but tasty and satisfying. My dining companion was quite pleased with her salad even though they were out of the matching dressing. It was so colorful and well portioned. For $22 for a lunch for two people, not including any drinks, we were pleased.

Garden Avo
Emerine C.

I think Panera has solid, healthy food and was excited to try the new avocado toast. It took 20 minutes to prepare and this is what I got...no garlic aioli on it and the thinnest spread of avocado I've ever seen. Really disappointing would not get again. Ordered the Garden avo toast with no tomato, add egg white and peppers.

DISAPPOINTED!!! THEY DONOT CARE CUSTOMERS AT ALL I've been a regular at this Panera for nearly two years, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing. I paid extra to upgrade to a larger bagel sandwich, but what I received was half the size of the original--half the protein, half the cheese, and half the toppings. When I brought this up, the store manager was rude and dismissive, refusing to explain and simply telling me, "That's it, take it or leave it." No attempt was made to correct the issue or offer any resolution or even provide a clear sign to remind other customers like me. This is not the level of service I expect from Panera, and if this is their new standard, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

The chili bowl was delicious. Lots of red kidney beans and meaty sauce base. Not salty, great spice blend, well-balanced.

The food is always delicious at Panera. I love the self-servicing tablets because you know those workers are busy! It's quite clean.

It's a cute place, there's street parking available. I decided on the Thai BBQ which is a popular item. I also got the chili crisp cheese bread. My salad was huge and can easily be shared with another person. It was so fresh and delicious. The cheese bread was good, would have been much better if it was served hot and gooey. I'm glad I stopped in and really enjoyed my lunch. Go try it for yourself.

Its a short tour, but it is incredible to see how they grow almost all of their greens on-site. Carve out time to visit Neon Greens as soon as you can - its worth the trip!

There was no place to check in for a table and there weren't separate lines for eat in and carry out. I got there first and didn't want to order before my friend got there. I saw an empty table so I sat down to wait. I was nicely told by one of the workers who was carrying around table numbers that I needed to be assigned a table number first. It was unclear when or how to get assigned a number, maybe when you order? Although the line moved pretty quickly it kept growing so when my friend arrived I ended up ordering online. Then I had to ask for a table. I wish they had clear signage or some way to inform about the process. I had the flying avocado turkey wrap which was fresh and delicious, although I didn't taste any avocado. Also ordered the green chili queso with chips which was great. I placed another order to go to take the Cajun shrimp boil home for dinner. It was good, too, although I should have had the hot dish for lunch and taken home the cold wrap. I'd like to try the avocado toast. Next time I will stand in line and order.

We were told 25 minute wait but watched another party walk in and ask about the the tables outside that they were able to just sit down at. We asked about the other table and were told we could sit after waiting thirty minutes, not sure why they weren't using those tables to begin with and weren't asking if people wanted to sit inside our outside. Our waitress was just terrible. Took her forever to come to our table, we were ready when she finally showed up but would only take our drink orders. We heard her tell the other table as well who was ready to order they'd have to wait until she came back with the drinks. She also didn't come around to check on us and only offered the table next to us refills. A bus boy also passed our table asked to remove empty plates but left ours.

Pizza dinner on Saturday night. We put our name in but didn't wait too long for a seat at the bar. We planned on duplicating our order from our last visit but lo and behold they had a couple of new appetizers, so we went with the Italian salad, meatballs with burnt toast, and a pepperoni pizza. I love the salad! Crisp lettuce with garbanzo, fennel, olive, picked pepper and Italian vinaigrette, so good. I asked for no cheese, This new appetizer? Don't pass on it, so very good. The meatball was full of flavor as was the marinara but that burnt toast, I could have sat there and ate it all night. One of their loafs, soaked in olive oil and toasted dark, yum! I did still leave room for the pizza, the pepperoni with a kick of heat from the Calabrian chili, chewy crust. Again, so good! Staff busy in the dining area and behind the bar. They definately go by the rule of if you are leaning you could be cleaning! Constantly rounding up plates and empty glasses, cleaning and polishing the glasses, and wiping things down. Our server was busy but she was attentive to us, I discussed beer options and she recommended the Scratch brewery beer. Talked it up and gave me a sample. It was very good, light and refreshing and went down easy with the pizza. Love this place, I go often but can't imagine how often if I lived closer!

Well, I no longer live in STL and I am finally checking it out. Now that I have, I am pissed at myself that I didn't try it sooner. I stopped by for lunch and enjoyed a Nova Gyro that was served with a side of fries. For a minimal up-charge, I had them add Feta Cheese to mine. When the Gyro arrived, it was super huge. It was so big, I could hardly pick it up to take a bite. I ended up eating part of it as a salad with a fork until I could finally pick it up and eat it like a true Gyro. The gyro meat was well seasoned and tender. It was smothered in their house made tzatziki sauce and wrapped in a warm Pita. The toppings were plentiful and they were; sliced red onion, shredded crisp lettuce, cucumbers and vine ripe tomatoes. Adding the Feta Cheese, was a wise move. It added, an extra Greek kick to the Gyro. My glass of Pinot Grigio was a perfect accompaniment to my lunch. With it being super huge, I took a third of it home and made a salad out of it for dinner. The only negative, is their take home vessels are styrofoam and not eco-friendly. The service was attentive and friendly.
