Just eat what you love, don't try unless you love the ingredients love it. Avoid flatbreads and salads the tasty ones are pricey. Service is great but lacking staff. Managers are a toss up some understand Customer service and some are Rude well they Smile at their confusing menu. Best time is very early and Late night when it's clean. Love their tomato soup and breads.

I can't win lately with Panera bread. This is a totally different location & they're closed at 1:40 in the afternoon on 12.3.20

Today is 12.7.20 and they're still closed for business. There was a note when I was here on Thursday December 3rd that they'd be re opening soon, but womp womp womp... They're still closed.

There's a serious food safety issues going on under the new management. Equipment not being cleaned properly and cross contamination with Allergens is big problem here and human resources made it very clear they don't want to address the issue. I'm concerned for all the nice people that eat here. I'll let the photos speak for themselves

My favorite Panera location deserves some more stars! Always get great service here, friendly staff who go the extra mile to make a good dining experience. Today I received the wrong salad on my order - they quickly provided me the right salad, boxed up the wrong salad as a to-go freebie since it can't be taken back to the kitchen, and helped me juggle all my dishes back to the table. This location is busy but always a good place to grab a spot and work through lunch, or meet with a friend for a snack. I always receive my food hot, fresh and fast! Lunch Tip - get the summer fruit cup instead of bread or chips for a healthy treat!

Got the autumn soup it is good sort of sweet. Why can't they give more bread? It's like 2 bites of bread. They Panera "bread". Hello people, I'm not a pig, but it's so tiny! Also the restaurant smells like a dirty wash rag so we ate outside. Peee-u!!!

Actually one of the better Panera Breads. It is a little on the small size - but they have a very nice patio

It's that good. Food quality/price (value) rating 10. The atmosphere is classic family friendly diner. I stopped here after I just happened to pass by while headed to a friends house and decided I could eat some breakfast. I'm very happy that I did. The place was bustling on a Saturday morning and I was probably lucky to get a seat at the counter. By the time I had finished breakfast, there was a waiting line out the door which is always a good sign. The owner and Griddle Master, Peter, and his wife Stephanie, have operated this diner at this location for more than thirty years! I had the breakfast special of two eggs, HOMEMADE CORNED BEEF HASH (like striking gold), homefries, and bakery fresh rye toast - incredible! Probably the best breakfast I've had in years, seriously. The corned beef hash was properly crispy, as were the homefries, which rarely occurs at most diners even when requested. There were at least five people keeping the customers happy, and the staff and customers were all friendly and talkative. That is a bonus found only in small country towns like Southbury, a small New England postcard quality town right off Interstate 84 exit 15. If you're looking for a truly old time experience that is rare these days, run here as soon as you can. I guarantee that you won't be disappointed! I will be bringing the wife back very soon. Closed Mondays.

Pete, the chef, clearly knows his way around a grill, and the whole staff was incredibly friendly and personable -- the kind of place where you feel like a regular even if it's your first visit. Great food, great people, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping in!
