No competition or jockeying for seats or parking, no annoying drive-thru customers trying commit vehicular manslaughter, unlimited free coffee/tea refills, real food, larger dessert and bread selection, soda is an option (for kids), free wifi! The good: - unlimited refills on dine/drink on coffee/tea/soda - free wifi, probably faster due to less people to compete with - more parking - more seating - real food choices - larger breads/dessert choices - fun to refer to as "Pantera Bread" The notsogood: - coffee selection is not as large as Starbucks (no frappacinos or $5 mocha java trentas in sight) - which is fine, since I don't go for those type of foo-foo drinks - people watching is not as interesting versus some of the whackjobs that wander into Starbucks - closes earlier than Starbucks - "scenery"/talent can be lacking versus Starbucks (guys...oh, you know ;-P) - Coffee "on tap" can be a bit "aged", since the volume consumption does not seem to be on the same level of Starbucks (where brewing more is a necessity...unless it's Veranda/Blonde, which they [Starbucks] always seems to be out of). My mom and I came here for a quick brunch of half a sandwich, a cup of soup, and a pastry. We were greeting warmly and the interior of the restaurant was very clean. I choose the turkey and avocado BLT with a cup of French Onion Soup and a Shortbread Cookie with icing in the shape of a flip flop. The turkey sandwich was a nice size with good flavor. The soup was tasty but was only warm. I wish it was a little more on the hot side. It was still tasty though. The cookie was excellent with a nice buttery flavor. My mom had a turkey cheese panini with broccoli cheddar soup. She said both were excellent and that soup was super cheesy. Yum! I had the half sandwich and soup combo which came with your choice of chips or apple. Filling and relatively healthy lunch for less than $8! They also list the calorie counts on their menus which is a huge plus in my book! We went during the lunch rush but my food was ready in less than 5 minutes and there were still several tables available for dining in. The staff was courteous and helpful. I really love the fact they had kiosks where you could order from instead of standing in line and waiting. When my food came however the sandwich was not quite right but I didn't mind because the chicken noodle soup was absolutely delicious! I've been to Panera multiple times and I've got to say I'm hooked! There are days where I crave it! My first time here, I was with about 5 other friends and I was overwhelmed because I didn't know what to order. My friend suggested I order on the kiosk because there are pictures and you can customize your foods. I decided to play it safe and get the Tortellini Alfredo. I think I requested to add in chicken. It was yummy and cheesy! Second time I came in, I went right to the kiosk again and gotten a "Pick Two" combo. I had chosen half a Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt and customized it by adding lettuce, pickled red onions, tomatoes, and cucumbers. I also got a side of Mac n cheese and chips. I only drink their water so I have no say on what their drinks are like but oh my! The sandwich is delicious! It's on the smaller side so maybe if you want something more filling, get the full panini instead of half. And their Mac n cheese is just the best I have tasted. order # 153598203 We ordered a delivery from Panera at the Live oak Forum and it was about 1.5 hours before we got our order when it was promised by 45 min. The order was wrong as someone decided that since you were out of Pepsi then a diet soda would be ok without asking us. The salads were warm and I received some balsamic dressing for my ceasar salad. So I called to get a refund and to drop of this order and manager said eat the meal he will refund my card for whole amount. after 7 days of not seeing a refund I called and talked to Ashley Howell assistant manager and she emailed me this: "Good afternnon, Rene! I apologize about the service you received with your delivery on October 1st. The quality of the food we sent to you did not meet our standards by any means. We aim to triple-check every single order for 100% accuracy, and we failed to do that with your order. I went ahead and did a full refund for your entire order. I'm unsure of what you and the previous manager had agreed upon, but I'm also aware that you waited far too long for your compensation. The refund did end up coming out to $1.15 more than you had spent originally, as the pastry item was not discounted when I refunded it. You should be seeing the refund go to your bank by tomorrow morning. If you don't see it on there, or have any addition questions or concerns, please feel free to call the cafe and ask for me again. I'd be more than happy to help you out with anything else you may need. I appreciate your feedback, and we will use it to continue coaching our team so we can provide the best service possible. Anyway he belittled her and made her feel like she was some poor beggar trying to cheat panera out a free meal. My wife said also when she turned back after receiving the bags of food from Robert that he was making a face and some jesture at her while her back was to him. Your whole crew was standing watching all this and snickering at her. I will be contacting your corporate office to formally complain to them regarding our experiences with your Panera. I always feel good about myself when I come here. It is one of the few places around here that sell healthy foods. People here are always very helpful and service is fast. I do think they ran out of items really fast compared to some of the other Panera I've been to. One time I was there at noon and they had already ran out of my favorite soup, the garden vegetable soup. I was disappointed because they rotate their soups and that soup is not always on the menu. That's probably the reason why when they did offer it, it ran out so fast. They also don't really offer you an option of chips/apples/bread all the time if you order the half/half may be because those items also tend to ran out? I'm not sure. I happen to love Panera Bread and this location is the closest to my house and I am very grateful for that! This specific location at the Forum is always clean and fully stocked. I have ordered online a few times and the order is always correct and on time. Food/Taste: A I ordered a Bacon Turkey Bravo which consists of smoked turkey breast, applewood-smoked bacon, smoked Gouda, lettuce, tomatoes and their signature sauce on whole wheat bread with a french baguette and vanilla cupcake. Selection: A What's nice about Panera is that every few months they go thru and revamp the menu and move new items in and maybe slower traction items out. This location had a nice selection of baked goods around 2-3pm when we arrived, whereas a lot of locations I visit are half-empty by this time. Service: C My order took in excess of 15 minutes to arrive and they ended up putting my sandwich on a bagel which does't even make sense, but because I was on a lunch break at work, I did not have time to wait for them to remake the order. My husband and I are definitely not that hard to please when it comes to food! but my oh my we love this place! We eat a lot of soups and salads on a regular basis and this has been our spot since we moved to TX. Their bread is always so fresh & delish! First time around we ordered full portions the Cream of Chicken & Wild Rice (best soup EVER!) with a Cesar Salad, we shared both items and were full by the end of our lunch meal. Portions are well served !! Second time we had their Chicken Noodle soup with the BBQ Chopped Chicken salad! Hubby loves BBQ so he sure loved this Salad!! I had to take a star for cleanliness. there are times when tables aren't clean. For a place that is always busy with customers, there should be more tables clean and available for customers. How does a Panera bread run out of bread and how does a cup of soup cost $6 and not even come with bread. Worst Panera I've ever been to.

I normally don't care much for chain restaurants but Panera Bread is the exception. Their menu is simple and basic but yet fresh at the same time. They have different salad options as well as soup options. This as well as an assortment of different sandwiches. The kid menu is friendly, I mean who doesn't like Mac n cheese? My grandkids are off the kids menu and ordered a Mac n Cheese and a ham sandwich. Daughters ordered a bigger portion of Mac n Cheese and a seasonal green salad. Overall, the portion sizes are just right and the food is always fresh every time I hit up a Panera Bread. read more

I really like Panera's menu, but this location will not be getting my business again. We ordered a half Fuji apple salad and a half tuna sandwich. The salad didn't have all its ingredients, like a normal green salad with some apple chips on it. The runs was watery and not spread evenly, so globs of it fell out of the bread. Rude staff, rotten food, and super limited selection of pastries (the were all "unavailable"). I did not get my salad dressing on the side of my salad (I did not receive any salad dressing at all). When my food was delivered, the worker told me they were all out of the cookie I ordered as my birthday pastry, it was annoying because they seemed to be out of every other pastry too. After he walked away, I realized my chicken Caesar salad had no caesar dressing. I went to the front and asked the cashier for a container of salad dressing which took her awhile to get because she got tied up talking with the other staff (the store was not busy at all). I paid extra for toppings I never received and when I asked that it be remade because random toppings were added, I received attitude from the cashier (the same one which I got my dressing from). I asked that it be to-go because I didn't want the rest of my party waiting on my salad. I finally got my salad remade, which they conveniently made out of slimy, rotten spinach. The manager delivered it to me and I apologized for being such a hassle and even he gave me attitude, which my party found hilarious because they could not believe after the terrible treatment and quality, even the manager was rude. I apologized for being needy and the manager said "it's fine, you just wanted it the way you wanted it," which a snarky attitude. I couldn't help but think to myself "no, I wanted it the way I ordered it." I thanked him and cleaned my table so I could leave. I also asked for lettuce which was nowhere to be found but at that point, I was fed up. I paid over $30 for two salads, half a sandwich, two drinks, and a fruit bowl. Stopped by this morning, at 7:40am, ordering in person at the counter. Requested an orange scone and hot tea for dine in. Person behind the counter didn't know which one the orange scone was. Told her once then had to tell her a second time while pointing through case. She handed me the scone in a To Go bag, despite my dine in request. I also turned around to find no hot water dispenser sitting out and had to wait for that. The food is what is typical for Panera. The service was lacking today. If it was this poor at the time I arrived, it makes me wonder how poorly they must perform during that first hour in the morning after they first open. I've always been a fan of Panera aka St. Louis Bread Co (for my St. Louisian peeps) but being able to use the app to order your food (even specifying bread slicing my bagels). I met a friend for dinner after work at this Panera Bread, last week, on Wednesday July 26th. and I had a chicken salad, and I got sick. I thought the chicken tasted weird, and I know I should have said something then, but I didn't want to appear like a difficult customer. I guess I should also mention that when I ordered my salad, I was told I could pick chips or an apple for my side, and I asked for bread, since that's usually one of the sides too. The cashier told me that they didn't have any bread. I was very surprised, since that's what they make, right? That's their "thing"? That's part of their name. I asked them for a piece of the bread that I could see from the counter and they gave me a piece of stale bread. I tried it and it was bread that they should not serve with any of their meals. I wonder if that's what made me sick. My friend and I stayed there, talking for a while and when I went home, I started feeling sick. I threw up and had diarrhea that night and a couple more days after that. I'm never going back to this restaurant. read more
