Why are these people so stingy with their salad dressing? The tiny little container was only half full! If I forget to request extra dressing, I end up with a DRY SALAD. People. PLEASE. read more

They gave our order to someone else. When we asked to have our order remade they were out of what we ordered. We asked to speak to the manager twice and he turned his back on us. read more

Wow. Just wow. What an absolute disgrace what has happened to Paneras. They used to be so good. We walked up to the register to order and there was no one there. One boy walked by several times, but didn't acknowledge us. Finally we got the attention of someone else and asked him if needed to order on the screens they had set up. He said, 'you can or I guess I can take your order at the register. Just give me a minute. He then walked away. We ordered a cup of broccoli and cheddar soup and a bowl of French onion soup. With two fountain drinks, the total was almost $20. We were eating there, but our order was in a takeout bag. Evidently they have gotten rid of all the real bowls and dishes so there's nothing to wash. When I took the lid off my French onion soup, I didn't see any cheese. It is always served with Gruyère cheese. It wasn't there. Evidently another money saving idea... my wife's soup was edible. That is about the best thing I can say about it. The bread, which is supposed to be a French baguette, was a slice of something that looked like it came from Sams club. Paneras has fallen so far so fast, I can't imagine they will survive another three years. I surely will never be back. What an absolute shame read more

Excellent place for yummy, healthy salads. Nice selection of hot herbal teas, along with fancy coffee beverages. Very friendly staff. I love the electronic ordering. Highly recommend this location! read more

Wanted to take my son for a nice breakfast. It was absolutely disgusting inside. My first clue should've been when there was black mold going up the icemaker machine and all over the soda machine. Surfaces and countertops are covered in dirt. It took over 18 minutes to make breakfast and when they did deliver it it was both burnt and cold at the same time. read more

I like this Panera because it is large enough to always find a seat and it is divided in a way where you can hide and avoid people if you would like :-) I only eat a few specific things, but the food is always good - Mac and cheese and soup :-) I Iove the large mountain dew for cheap and the free wifi. read more

Frankly, we used to enjoy coming here. However, I don't understand why they are asking folks to continue to wear a mask. They lost our business read more

Tasteless and bland food. On Kronos this is the kind of food we feed our eunuch servant class to keep them weak and complacent. I ended up slicing open my palm to drizzle some flavor over perhaps the most inadequate, disappointing breakfast sandwich this side of the neutral zone. Long Live the Empire! read more

Frankly this was my 3rd visit and all I can say as in baseball parlance 3 strikes and your out. Three out of three orders filled wrong. Wrong selection of bread, mixed up soup order and generally speaking based on quantity versus price this restaurant is disappointing. Not sure they could even make a PBJ sandwhich. The food is good but some of the workers are incompetent. All that being said, I will not be back. read more

So during this whole coronavirus thing and inside being closed I sat in the parking lot of Panera trying to figure out how to place a to go order as I seen people walking up to the door I realize that they were taking walk up orders I got frustrated with the app after sitting in the parking lot for 10 or 15 minutes trying to figure it out so I walked up I ordered a breakfast sandwich and apparently it was two minutes after the time which was 10:32 and completely refuse to serve me a an egg and cheese sandwich that I like, even being just two minutes later. I asked her if she can please make an exception since I had been sitting out in the car with my baby trying to figure out this app long before I finally realized I could walk up. I asked her please, it's the only thing I like. Justine the "manager" came out and told me straight up no. You'd think they would be understanding because of how crazy everything is but I guess customer service isn't important. Brianna was also standing next to her rolling her eyes at me. The customer Service was really awful. read more

My ToGo orders have something missing most of the time. I leave very good tip every time I go but I don't think that is happening anymore, if I ever go back. Tired of dealing with incompetence/stealing. I give three stars just because food is ok and ambience is nice. read more

My coworker and I decided to go here for lunch one day. We were excited about how the food looked while browsing online. We ordered food for rapid pick up and drove to the location. I located our bags on the pick up shelf and we drove back to work. When we finally sat down to eat, I pulled out my sandwich to find more than half of it burnt to a crisp. It honestly looks like a crater hit my sandwich. The bread was hard as a rock and inedible. My co worker ordered Mac and cheese and upon eating found a lemon seed mixed in. Our bags were never marked as "checked" but put on the shelf. Needless to say, we were very disappointed. Especially since we drove out of our way to get there. read more

The worst Panera Bread in existence. They gave me a moldy sandwich the first time I went, but I decided to give them a second chance. Bad idea. Next sandwich had absolutely no steak (it was a steak and white cheddar sandwich. read more

I know they call it no-shave November but it's only the beginning of November and there are guys with beards almost 6 inches long and every guy that is handling and making food has long grown out untrimmed beards. They don't have covers over their beard and it is really unappetizing. I don't really want to eat my food now. Definitely won't be back to that location. I would suggest Jason's Deli on University. read more

I will not be going to this Panera any more, they got rid of one of the best items the teriyaki chicken sandwich to be replaced with 0.99 Frozen Tostinos rip off pizza.there employees are very friendly but the food is not the best if you do go there get the soup or pastry. The food there is very expensive and not right for the quality of the food. read more

I was very disappointed when coming to this Panera. I am Panera lover and will always love there broccoli and cheddar mac cheese. However, when I first got to the store, I went to use the screens in the front to order because usually it's faster. When I went to pay it would not let me, and then I informed the employee at the front, and she said "i don't know why they are not working, you can just order in the front." So she saw me on the screen knowing it wouldn't work and just didn't say anything. So I ordered with her and I had a coupon for 25% off and I don't think she even used it. And another couple came in and went to use the screen, I had to inform them that they didn't work. The employee just watch them knowing it didn't work. Now the worst part is when i went to sit down, the dining room was disgusting, trash all over the floor, and some sort of dirt or liquid on every table or seat. I had to go up and ask the employee to clean off a table and even after that I still had to clean up the area to eat. I was very disappointed in this because i love Panera but I will never go bad to that location ever again. read more

Not sure who manages this Panera, but every single time we go here, there is some kind of issue. 5 times we've been here during the lunch or dinner hour where they were out of bread bowls. And when I say lunch or dinner hour, I mean 12pm and 6pm. They always claim that they sold more than anticipated. Sold more? For breakfast? Order caesar salad with dressing on the side, comes with dressing on the salad. Order Italian sandwich with no onions, come with onions. Always an issue but I gave it two stars because the food is actually good. read more

This location has had problems for YEARS! They run out of plain or sesame bagels before lunchtime!? Can you imagine Chick-fil-A running out of chicken before lunch?? So today I ordered my bagels online at 10am for a 12pm pickup. I get there at 12:15 and guess what? They're out of bagels. It's hard to believe, but true. How can they allow an order to be processed and the product isn't in stock?? I tell the manager and he cannot look me in the eye as he mumbles a feigned apology. Wake up Panera! read more

The food was fine, but slightly below normal Panera standards. The portions were small, especially the soup (also the salad), and the service was not good. The servers were more interested in joking with each other than working or even acknowledging waiting customers, and one employee announced that we are all to carry our own plates and trays to the garbage and bussing trays, which is fine, but it probably wasn't necessary to make it a big thing. read more

My wife was sick so I ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup and a baguette for her online. For $6.63 I got a 2 inch chunk of bread and maybe 4 ounces of broth with a couple noodles, a few carrots and celery and a small piece of what looked like chicken. Panera should be ashamed of serving something like this. What a joke. I will never go there again and do my best to spread the word that it's over rated, overpriced and just plain awful. read more

Slowest service ever. I go in there for a bagel in the morning's before work, and it takes them 10 to 15 minutes to put it in a bag and handed to me. Half of the time they toasted when I do not order it toasted. Very frustrating. Just takes more time to fix. Employees don't seem to care, horrible customer service. read more

One of my favorite places to eat no matter where I am. Always fresh, polite customer service and soups to die for. Highly recommend!

Went here with my 80 year old Dad and my kids. After ordering we sat down and waited for our food. I had ordered the $0.99 chocolate chip cookie for my kids as a dessert. As we were sitting down my youngest one, who was holding the cookie, accidentally let it slip out of its sleeve onto the floor. So I was prepared to go buy a replacement, when I turned around, and a man who was working in the dining area, came up and handed us a fresh cookie. Thank you Panera. There are few truly compassionate people; I'm glad that I had the opportunity to meet one at your restaurant. read more

Stopped in for lunch. Lady at the next table had a poodle in her lap. Clearly not a service dog. Then sat the dog on a chair. Then picked the dog back up and started feeding it off her plate. Apparently the management does not understand the rules regarding dogs in restaurants. Service dogs are trained to perform a task for a disabled person. Not a comfort dog or therapy dog or pet. Service dogs are to stay on the floor and not be fed off the table. They are working dogs. The staff here needs to be educated to not allow this. read more

We went to Panera at 9:15 as it closed at 10 and left about 9:45. At about 9:30 a worker comes out with a vacuum and starts vacuuming the floor. It was just very unenjoyable to eat your dinner with someone vacuuming the floor about 5 feet away while we were eating our dinner. Also the worker had headphones in and she was on her phone, so she wouldn't of done anything because she couldn't hear us. The main that got us upset was that the restaurant didn't even close for another 25ish minutes.. Also because it was closer to closing time, I assume that the cooks were just trying to go home, but we ordered a Mac and cheese and it was terrible!! We didn't want to send it back because we knew that it would probably be worse. So overall it was a unenjoyable experience especially because you heard a vacuum on while your trying to eat your meal. I wouldn't suggest to go there even a hour before they close because they will just slack off because they want you to eat your food fast, so they can clean the restaurant and go home. read more

i was very pleased with my visit however, i noticed something was off with some employees. A young lady named Ashley who seemed to be a manager was juggling many different things at once. She was going back and forth between cashiering, line, and dining room. I have never seen one girl so wrapped up in her job. But one thing really stood out to me as i was watching her, she was so nice to the others even though they weren't helping. She is am asset to this company. Keep up the good work. read more

This is the worst Panera in Sarasota!! I work nearby & eat at this location once or twice a week but I won't be back ever again. Over the last few months they've screwed up my order 8 out of 10 times. The last 5 times I've been there I've asked for a refund 3 times. What is so hard about NO CHICKEN on a sandwich? My last straw was I made online order went into the store & saw my name up next on the board. Then 25 minutes later I got my food w/ chicken on my sandwich of coarse. Apparently they ran out of flat breads so instead of asking around they just stopped making my order. After 15 minutes I asked what was going on & then they asked if I what bread I would like. Still took another 10 minutes to get my food. The manager was not very pleasant & just refunded the cost of my sandwich. When I informed her that we were not going to eat any of the food & wanted a full refund she reluctantly cancelled my order. I suppose that Panera is so busy that good customer service is no longer required. SHAME SHAME Panera!! read more
