Ate here and the food & service excellent. They were courteous and very polite. There was 5 of us and we were promptly and correctly served. The food was fresh and tasted wonderful. I highly recommend here and we will certainly be returning on a regular basis. read more

Great food. Pumpkin bagel was delicious. Service could be improved our order was messed up still waiting for the manager to make it right.

If you do the rapid pick up make sure to check to see if everything is in the bag. They have a tendency to leave items out.

Slow service (24minutes for our food), and the trash spot was overwhelmed. We went two hours before closing and they were already out of our regular Panera order. I noticed there were several couples waiting for their online order which "still wasn't ready yet." I do not recommend and I won't be returning. read more

I have loved all the Panera Bread locations but this one can't seem to get things correct- lack of prompt phone service or lack of knowledge of food product, orders are not filled correctly. Patrons must request things that are basic eatery fundamentals- replenish coffee; replenish creamer; clean tables before customers have to ask; clear trash when you see customers at tables with completed meals; etc. Coffee hadn't been refreshed for more than three hours in the morning. I arrived at 9:15 and it had not been fresh since 6:45; all but hazelnut were empty, as were the half/half and milk. I had to ask a staff (I think she was the manager?) to replenish coffee, and she said it was coming, but didn't tell me when it was finished and didn't even think to check other items like creamer and milk. So I then had to ask to refill them, at which time she was unapologetic and had a stoic facial expression. Seats had large crumbs between back and wall; tables were cleared, but not cleaned; plus electrical wires were exposed next to a window table! I must say my food arrived in a timely fashion and was delivered hot, by a friendly young lady, who also lit the fireplace. So, Panera has great food and this is a lovely location. I will still give it a second chance when I'm back in town, so I hope management addresses these easily resolvable, basic customer service and health/safety issues. read more

The absolute worst customer service. Not thinking they will be in business very long as they are more focused on organizing the line partitions when the restaurant is empty than correctly filling orders. Waited 20+ minutes for the wrong sandwich asked for a refund because I didn't want to wait any longer for the correct sandwich and then the woman who they gave my food to came back in and their resolution was to have her give me the sandwich she had taken. This was my first ever experience at panera. It wasn't crowded, and the staff was nice. The food seemed a little too pricey to me, but that's just my opinion. I had the Napa almond chicken salad sandwich, and it was pretty good! The bread is great, and the sweet tea wasn't half bad either! Over all, I'd say it's okay. We may go there again, but only when we don't care about the somewhat hefty price tag. read more

I'm not a fan of Panera just because of the "healthy" food thing. Mac and cheese was bomb and turkey bacon bravo were pretty great. Staff was very courteous, and my gf enjoyed everything though. Aside from the price it was all a great experience. read more

This place has declined since corporate oversight went away. Soups are lackluster. Dining room is dirty. My kid just ordered his usual grilled cheese and it smelled like a dirty sneaker. How hard is it to cook a damn grilled cheese? Not coming back except maybe for some bagels. read more

I ate here today with a friend and ordered an iced coffee in addition to my meal. The woman at the register said that the iced coffee would be brought out by the waitress. The waitress said that they really don't do iced coffee and to just get a cup full of ice and fill it up with coffee. My friend's order was wrong. My meal was cold--flatbread. Now, I'm no genius, but this isn't how you make iced coffee nor does pouring hot liquid over ice work well in preserving said ice. I went back to the register and the clerk said she would get me the "mocha", and I said I'd just take a regular coffee since this was too much trouble. Another person appeared with a "mocha" and it was just cold coffee and a lot of milk poured over ice, not iced coffee. Disappointed and won't go back. read more

French baguette was served cold again for the third visit in a row. I've ordered the Vegan Lentil quinoa broth bowl, for three consecutive visits and the serving size has decreased each successive trip. Tonight, my wife's soup and salad (which includes the very smallest soup they serve), had more soup than my entree size broth bowl. Not sure what's happening there. The honeymoon is over. I've ordered 4 times now. One catering order was missing items. At 2-3 bucks a pastry, missing items adds up quick. Today, eating in with the family. Order time to delivery was slow, almost 40 min. Our order was wrong. It was corrected but needed to go back twice. I even had to microwave my soup. Not a great day. read more

Horrible service. Cashiers are not trained and left to try and figure things out by themselves. The question of whether or not your order will arrive correct is better described as how many times will you have to send it back to get what you ordered. Servers practically run away to avoid being asked to fix orders. Food is usually very good if you fight enough to get it. When you ask for what you ordered, sometimes they are out of every substitute, for example no baguettes or dinner rolls(in a bakery). If they actually gave out free pastries for mistakes, my family alone will have put them out of business. read more

The ham and swiss was pretty good. I also purchased a chocolate chip cookie to eat later in the day (big mistake)-I just tried to eat the cookie about 2-3 hours later after buying (HARD AS A ROCK!!!!)- Lucky for me my teeth are in pretty good shape- Well at least now-I think. read more

I usually have no complaints about Panera. However the Ridgeland store is definitely not up to the Panera standard that I have come to expect over the years. The food here is highly inconsistent, the restaurant is usually littered with dirty tables and the employees are untrained. Today I ordered a chicken Cobb avocado salad. The salad I received did not contain romaine or bacon and very little chicken. When I complained at the window, the Panera employee said they were out of romaine and then laughed. The only thing that is consistent here is that the drink station is always an unsanitary mess and the employees walk around like Zombies. read more

If you are celiac or just gluten sensitive, DO NOT GO INTO ANY PANERA BREAD!!! This is my very best advice. They know NOT what they are doing and play Russian Roulette with their customers' health. It never fails that when I walk into any Panera Bread anywhere and ask what soup is gluten free, the warm body at the cash register just looks at me like a deer gazing into headlights. And then they always have to go get a manager while I wait along with everyone else standing in line. They have to pull out a large binder with very small print and expect me to thumb through and try to read the microscopic print. Soooo frustrating!!! When I tell them I cannot read the print they just guess at what is prob gluten free. The very same thing tonight at this Panera. After all that, i ordered the apple chicken salad and a cup of of turkey chili. Even after we went through all of the gluten free talk, they put a bread loaf on my plate to tease me. I believe it would have been just as easy to set an apple or even bag of chips on my plate. Of course, I could not eat the bread loaf, only look at it. Geeeeeez!!! I left the restaurant totally frustrated, came home and had a gluten reaction. No more Panera for me. They have huge problems and certainly don't believe in training. The food is quite good, served in large and hot portions. However, the service is delayed, even if you are picking up a call in order.

I have been a long time Panera fan and have eaten at this Panera more than a dozen times since its opening. I'm disappointed in not only the quality of the food and the service, but also the cleanliness. I'm always there at lunch time and I do take that into consideration, but there are always so many dirty tables that it's hard to find a place to sit. The drink station is a mess and sometimes even out of tea! The servers are untrained. My husband usually orders lemonade. Only one time have they brought it without being reminded and then it's another long wait. The sandwiches are sloppily made, salads incorrect, and several times I've had to send the soup back because it's cold. I continue to go back, hoping they'll get things figured out, but I'm about to give up. Panera's prices are at a premium (for a quick lunch) and I expect premium food and service to match the prices. Why can all the other Paneras in the country pull it off and not this one? read more

While our family normally enjoys Panera (this location and many others) today was a different experience. I realize it is Sunday and also the Labor Day weekend, but for starters you only had two prepackaged pastries on the tables out front. Also only had 3 prepackaged packs of cookies. The case and bread selection were bare as well. We ordered our lunch and the first turn off was the self service drink station. It was a sticky mess with lemon seeds, straw papers and lids strewn everywhere. It was obvious it hadn't been wiped down in some time. Also, the special iced tea was out. We select regular iced tea and go to find a table. Plenty of empty ones as the lunch crowd has mostly left. Problem is, many tables aren't clean and the ones that are seem very sticky. I am watching the employee wipe them down and the only thing I can come up with is she was using a sticky rag. She wiped down multiple tables with the same rag never once rinsing it. The place was a dirty mess today. You only got two stars instead of one because the food was as expected. (Hard to mess up a turkey sandwich and soup). I hope you will pay more attention to the cleanliness of the place. It was off today and Corner Bakery has you trumped on the prepackaged pickup selections. I look forward to visiting again and hope it will be better because we like the sandwiches and soups here. read more
