Panera Bread used to be the bomb dot com. My go-to was always "You Pick 2" Tuna Sandwich half on semolina bread and a broccoli cheddar soup with an apple. That was back in the day. They have changed a bit since then. Today I saw them while out running errands. My family was at home waiting for me to return and everyone was super hungry so I was like, "I'll just get us all a tuna sandwich." First of all, they had those screens where you place your own order. That kinda ticked me off because no one was paying me any mind when I walked in although there were employees at the front counter so I RELUCTANTLY went to the self order kiosk and while I was standing there fidgeting with the screen, in walked multiple people and lo and behold, the staff is suddenly available to help them so multiple orders went through ahead of mine while I was trying to figure out how to choose the bread I preferred. Anywho, I finally figured it out and got my order only to get home and see what looked like a tablespoon of tuna on a ciabatta bread. I was dumbfounded to see that on all 3 sandwiches, there was a tiny, minuscule amount of tuna and literally when I took a bite, I got bread, lettuce and tomato, no tuna. What the heck?!! Ordered the bowl of rustic baked potato soup, the portion was very small, looked like it was just hurriedly dumped in the bowl and the baguette was small and probably a day away from being stale. The taste however, was what you would expect from Panera bag soup. My wife ordered the you pick too, broccoli cheddar soup cup and turkey club. Her portion of soup was actually appeared to be the same as my bowl of soup. The sandwich was poorly constructed and fell apart as she was trying to eat it. I've asked about the status of the order at 6:40 and was told they are still working on it. I checked again at 6:50 and was told the same thing. I asked to cancel the order and then suddenly, the order appears without the extra cheese and barely warm. Moral of the story is don't expect this location to put your orders on the shelves, follow-up on the status of your order often, and make sure you get what you ordered and paid for. I've had both the Chef's Take Chicken Sandwich and the Spicy Take Chef's Chicken Sandwich from this location. I wanted to give each a try at different times and on different days to really get an idea of how this location would measure up. I was not disappointed. The Chef's Take Chicken Sandwich is a solid addition to Panera's menu. With pretty much everyone hopping on the chicken sandwich train, Panera has done an excellent job in separating themselves from the competition. Both sandwiches come in a box that you can open from the top or by tearing the perforated portion to reveal the sandwich. It's a nice touch. The spicy take has a familiar buffalo sauce that's accompanied with a garlic aioli, spicy pickle chips on a brioche bun. The garlic aioli and buffalo mesh together perfectly. The spicy pickle chips are also a very nice touch as it culminates the sandwich to peak perfection. The original Chef's Take is similar in presentation but you get emerald greens, Parmesan chips and garlic aioli on a brioche bun. Equally as tasty as the spicy without that added zing. read more

This is a great meeting spot for my work team. We can get a lot done without interruption. They have hot coffee, hot tea and al the yummies all day long. The food is fresh and tastes good. Low cal breakfast options can be a challenge. Today my work partner wanted a breakfast sandwich sans the veggies , I asked her to please out his unwanted veggies on my sandwich. She looked at me as if I was speaking mandarin. I just said never mind and said I would have extra spinach with mine. My breakfast sandwich was ok. Not as warm as I would normally like. I give Panera credit though for the cleanliness. Lunch came and I ordered the Green Goddess salad and a cup of Autumn squash soup. It was very good. I can't complain one bit. Every time I have come to this newly opened location it has been nothing but awesome service, in store or drive thru. It doesn't matter. The food is prepared fresh and the employees are super friendly and patient. We were able to come for their pre-opening event where three coworkers and myself were able to order food for free! That was the icing on the cake. I have been back multiple times since then and have had a great experiences every time. Employees even stand by the door and entice you in with scones or cookies. It's a great location in every way and I'll probably be going back this weekend! (The green goddess chicken salad and the spicy Thai chicken salad are amazing. I m addicted to both of them.
