She recommended the Cuban Pulled Pork Sandwich. My sandwich was huge and contained a large portion of pulled pork meat. It was delicious and the homemade chipotle bbq mayo made it all the more satisfying with its rich smoky flavor! The Cuban-style black beans were right out of Miami! Very nicely prepared and included green peas, carrots, corn, and bell peppers, as well. My dining companion, for her part, ordered the Falafel platter, with a side order of gyro meat. The falafel (a dozen), were fresh, tasty, and just the right consistency. These were served with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, pita, and hummus. The side order of gyro meat featured a generous portion of decadently succulent lamb shavings and included two portions of homemade tzatziki sauce. Everything we ate was prepared to perfection and could easily compete with exceptional restaurants in Chicago! Yes, the food at One World is that good. As for the service, our waitress Quincy was friendly and professional. As for the ambiance and decor--we arrived ahead of the lunch crowd, so it was pretty quiet. The decor, however, is nicely done. The premises were clean and well maintained. Ditto the restrooms. The restaurant is actually huge. There are multiple dining areas and in the summer there is an outside patio behind the restaurant, as well. As for pricing and affordability--quality costs, and the food here is definitely a cut above. That being said, the owners have priced the entrees quite reasonably considering the generous portion-size and quality of the food. My overall opinion? If you want a dining experience worthy of comparison to the best Chicagoland has to offer, but don't want to make the long drive--or pay twice as much--then I highly recommend this little gem of a locally-owned restaurant in Peoria!

This place 520 has become our family breakfast on Saturday mornings when we visit. The place is always busy. Sometimes we gotta wait on a table but they usually move pretty quick. On thus trip I talked to the owner as I was paying and told him how good everything was and how far we drove and had to drive home. Oscar is his name and is a great guy. As I was paying he fiddled with the register and as he gave me my change he slipped me a gift card. I was kinda taken back a little and we talked a little more then I went back to the table to finish our coffee to get ready to leave. I got to say the staff here is spot on. Never did we want for anything. The food was great and coffee was delicious. So we pack up the kids and go out to the cars to transfer bags and luggage when I turn around and here comes Oscar the owner. Evidently I dropped the card he had given me. Husband had a squash bowl the first time which was great, we mixed the chickpea salad side into it. It was a good combo def recommend it. I had a moon time tea the first time. It came with no lid they didnt have any but was very very good tea so I ordered it again the second time. While there are lots of great options on the menu, both of us chose the BPT - Breaded Pork Tenderloin. I've eaten a lot of breaded pork tenderloins in my time, but none like this one. The usual approach is super thin and huge, making the bun look tiny. While this one wasn't much larger than the bun, it was at least an inch thick, so it was more like eating a fried pork chop sandwich, but with the meat tenderized. The meat was well-seasoned and very flavorful, and the crust was extra-crispy and crunchy. The Honey-Lime sauce (one of three sauces brought to each table along with Ranch and Tyler's Sauce) is delicious and worked great with the pork. Fries were good, as was the cole slaw (which had a nice kick from some very freshly-ground black pepper). And I'm always happy when a place has Guinness on tap.

The nachos were customized to account for a dietary preference so this is not the standard, however they were delicious and a huge portion. A Vegan Gem That Overdelivers…read more As someone who has tried just about every plant based spot around, I have to say Eat and Evolve completely exceeded expectations. Every dish I ordered was outstanding. The Green Goddess Crepe was light yet satisfying and full of fresh vibrant flavor. The Spiced Tofu Bowl had the perfect balance of spice and texture, while the Orange Teriyaki Tofu was beautifully sauced, tangy, and full of depth. Even the Vegetarian Chili was hearty and comforting without feeling heavy. The portion sizes were impressive, especially for food that is this clean and balanced. The service was also wonderful. They made a substitution for me with no hesitation, which shows how much they care about their guests. Eat and Evolve proves that vegan food can be indulgent, energizing, and truly crave worthy. Whether you are fully plant based or just curious, this place deserves a spot on your must try list. I will absolutely be back, and probably ordering again on DoorDash before then.
