I was so happy when chick-fil-a came to Peoria! It is by far my favorite fast food breakfast!!! I always try to rush over before 10:30 (that is when they stop serving breakfast). I love the bagel chicken sandwich and most recently have been loving the chicken biscuit sandwich (I add egg and cheese)! I don't typically like the eggs on my fast food breakfast sandwiches, but chick-fil-a eggs are sooo good! I usually get honey for my biscuit and if I get the bagel sandwich I get the chick-fil-a sauce to dip! The hash browns are also so good! I always get the iced coffee with breakfast too (I ask for it with no milk) and I add the vanilla flavor to it! I usually add almond milk to it once I get home, but it also tastes fine without milk too! For lunch/dinner I typically get the spicy chicken sandwich with the cheese/tomato/pickle and of course the waffle fries! I also like the nuggets! They also have Coke Zero... which I feel a lot of places don't have and I prefer it to Diet Coke! The diet lemonade is also yummy (it is yellow lemonade which I prefer to pink)! I hear they have delicious cookies, but have yet to try one! They staff is also super friendly and when you bring your dog through the drive through they offer a milk bone treat which is so nice! Only gave a 1 to review. Ordered 2 deluxe. One didn't have the cheese. Went to counter and they just gave a cold piece of cheese to put on ourselves. Then opened mine and the bun was greasy on top. Chicken had no breading on the bottom and didn't taste done. Returned my sandwich. After I complained she gave me back money for my sandwich and gave me a gift card for another. I was very disappointed by the food, but the manager did make it right. read more

I went today on 4/1/23 - in the morning it was super busy & i think their system went down so a lot of people we're waiting longer than usual for their orders including me. Mine got canceled for some reason, i wasn't upset i just asked what happened. The manager or whoever was kind and got me my food. While others were rude to them you can CLEARLY see that they were busy trying to get through the rush and chaos. It's important to know that 1. Most of them are kids - be nice to them, they don't know how disrespectful and rude adults are and they're doing their best. 2. They're preparing and making your food, be respectful 3. I came to to the restaurant drive thru and ordered a breakfast biscuit and they forgot to give it in my order and I went in while I was in the parking lot. And it had just turned 10:30 and they couldn't fulfill my order for my breakfast meal. We came here for our anniversary/birthday lunch and we were not disappointed. The food was wonderful, and the place soooo clean!! None of this surprised us because this is always true. However, a worker offered to take our picture with both of us when he saw us doing it selfie style. As far as the original pickle soaked chicken sandwich (It's Just chicken) nothing special and over priced for (just chicken). When chick-fil-a arrived in Peoria Everyone thought well there goes KFC. WRONG if anything it helped business. But on a good note with Chick-fil-a here in Peoria where do you think Popeyes Chicken built a new store............ yes two blocks down from them. I came here with my family aroumd 10:30 and the service was not the best considering chick-fil-a regular service. They all were inside because of the weather and they were playing the whole time. Not only did they mess up our drink, they messed up the chicken sandwich and gave us no sauce. Food tasted stale too. I ordered a spicy southwest salad and waffle fries and they were just okay. My co-worker loved his chicken sandwich though! I give them props for fresh quality ingredients. I am now living in Seattle where we do not have a Chik Fil A or a Sonic, so I've been very impressed with the fast food renaissance in Peoria, while back in town for Thanksgiving. Chik Fil A has been open since the end of October, and judging by the crowd, it definitely met some unmet need in the market. Food wise, I would have to say that it was on par with other locations I have tried in PA, FL, and GA. And most of the reviews so far have been about the service, and from my experience, I think it can get spotty at times, but given the volume, I think they handle it well. My complaint though would be the parking lot, as it gets packed out, and the double lanes for the drive through don't help matters either. Other than that, I am very happy to see a Chick Fil A in Peoria...now only if they will open one up in Seattle too! read more

Very nice staff and quick and friendly service however the 2 stars is because the kids area was absolutely disgusting. I came on a Monday morning around 10am and there was dust, dirt and cobwebs all over. Pretty gross. I go to chick fil a for chicken yes but really because it's (usually) the cleanest play area to take children. I'm visiting from out of town so maybe it's a one-off but it surprised me given Chick fil a's reputation nation-wide on cleanliness. read more

I don't know why people go crazy over this food. The chicken is good, but the sandwiches are super plain. Could use, well, ANYTHING, to make interesting. Waffle fries sound great, but every time I've had them, they were soggy and stuck to the roof of my mouth. Was in the drive thru at 9:55 and had to wait to order. By the time we got up to order it was past 10 and they said they were closed. My husband had just had surgery and hadn't eaten all day. The manager said that everything was shut down and they couldn't take our order. A car that pulled up after us in the drive thru was served though. The food has never been an issue at this store, but today my parents had the most unacceptable service (10/10/20 at around 2pm). When going through the drive thru, my mother had asked if they could just order at the board instead of with the kid as he was standing very close with his head nearly in the car, the kid responded callously, no, we're doing this today. Okay, so my mom asked if he could please back up. He said, "no, I have a mask, you have a mask, it's fine." Excuse me? How dare you? She said, well that she would appreciate if he would maintain 6ft distance, my dad (in the car) has health issues and they like to maintain their distance. He responded with some sassy remark about how the customer was always right, but that actually he was right and had just written a paper on it the night before. What?! Ridiculous and unacceptable behavior. Regardless of how you feel about the 6ft distance, just back up. No need for your attitude or opinion. If someone asks you to do so, especially a customer, you do it. Just. Back. Up. Be professional, safe, and courteous. I have been to Chick Fil A since the 80's as a kid and have always loved their food. So was glad to see one open up in Peoria. I think it is silly to comment on a review of a restaurant with your political or religious views. It is about food and service. Chick Fil A is so much better than Mc Donald's so not even understanding that comparison. Chick Fil A uses the best breast meat, not chicken by products like McDonalds does. Mc Donalds tries to copy, with their Southern Chicken but fails. This store had a wonderful helpful staff. I was in a full leg brace and the counter help brought my tray to the table and told me to let them know if I needed any help. I ordered a 12 nugget meal with waffle fries and fresh made lemonade. The prices are maybe a dollar or 2 more but the chicken is fantastic, Their Polynesian dipping sauce is wonderful, sweet and tangy, They also offer a full menu of sandwiches, soups ,salads, wraps, ice cream and shakes. read more
