Egg and Cheese Sandwich - Asiago Bagel (upcharge). - Pretty small and the eggs were thin.
Eduardo D.

Went here for a quick bite in between volleyball games at the local high school. We wanted to get breakfast sandwiches. The place had a few people eating and we were able to walk up and place our order immediately. The cashier was welcoming and answered a couple questions we had about the menu. I went with a Asiago Bagel Egg and Cheese Sandwich. My wife decided to go with the same but on Croissant. The pick up place was clean and the tables were clean as well. It took about 10 minutes for the the first sandwich to be called, however they let me know that they ran out of the croissant. They asked me if I wanted a replacement and we chose the Asiago Bagel. No up charge. As far as the sandwich, it was a little smaller than expected. It seemed like it is not the same size as the original Asiago Bagel. The eggs were thinner than I expected. It had two different types of cheese. I didn't think it was worth getting as it was still hungry. Bagel is a bigger sandwich and is across the street. Overall, I wouldn't get the breakfast sandwich in the future.

Everyone at this location is super kind & I've never had issues with wrong orders. I come here in the mornings to get work done; the music is a bit loud, though there is plenty of space & corners nooks for privacy. Drive thru is quick; I've never had a long wait. Panera has been updating their menu; though a tad on the pricey side, the food is always delicious.

This location is on a heavy traffic intersection Street. My Yoghurt was not fresh and was not well prepared. Tuna was good

Agave lemonade

So I went here for agave lemonade & an egg white sandwich. Both items tasted like mop water smells. I went to another panera on my route home just to make sure I wasn't crazy. The new lemonade I received from the other Panera used to replace that one didn't taste like this. I couldn't drink it! I didn't reorder the sandwich but you can see the lemonade is still full for a reason. Only went to get a replacement because I was thirsty. Yuck. Chose a different location if you can help it.

I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. The bread wasn't toasted, so it didn't taste very good. Mushy cheese on soggy bread.

Since there was a total of 11 and the seating is first come first serve, we decided to call to see if they had reservations. They did take our name and reserved a table. When we arrived we noticed a table was reserved and we were informed that it was our table. We sat and looked over the menus. When we were ready my 2 boys and I went up to place our order. My one son has major allergies so we spoke to the chef and he came back out to recommend the dishes he can have. It was great that he did so and gave us confidence that my son would be able to eat without worrying too much about the ingredients. I ordered the Shrimp Kalamakia with a side of the Greek Rice. My son with the allergies ordered the Pork Kalamakia with Greek Rice and no pita, my other son ordered the Traditional Pork Gyro with Greek Rice. The sides we ordered: Saganaki Fritters and Spanakopitakia. My son that ordered the Pork Kalamakia devoured it. He said it was tender and juicy and probably could have eaten 4 skewers. My Shrimp Kalamakia was nicely charred and seasoned, I squeezed some lemon and it provided a nice tang over the seasoning. The Lemon rice pilaf was soft and cook just right and was nicely balanced. I had one Saganaki Ball and it was delicious. My son had the Pork Gyros said it was really good and the Tzatziki sauce was creamy and rich with flavors. My in-laws bought the table desserts and I got the Baklava and my wife got Loukoumades (Greek Donuts with Nutella) and both did not disappoint. I really loved the citrus honey syrup in the Baklava. The Loukoumades had a crispy shell and nice a fluffy on the inside and the Nutella amount was perfect. This place is very good and well worth the price in my opinion. I loved the fact that they took the time to make sure my son with allergies was safe.

And Baker's Square closed YEARS ago in SoCal. Missed their pies and baked goods! So imagine my (pleasant) surprise when I found this little place in Palatine! I decided to head there for a brekky on a cool May morning. Stepped in, saw all the breads, pastries, and pies along the front counters- wow. I was greeted warmly and seated instantly. My waitress came right away, and I ordered unleaded (decaf for those in the know). It came in a little pot, ala IHOP, and was really, really GOOD. Wow. Decaf has come a long ways from the Sanka days! I ordered the INN-CREDIBLE V.I.B. which allowed me to order 4 yummy items of my choice - I chose the french toast (yummy and spiced just right albeit w/room temp syrup- not a deal-breaker but notable), a strawberry crepe (totally awesome strawberries, but the crepe was a bit colder than expected); scrambled eggs (always a nice stalwart) and two turkey sausage links (as with the frenchie above, nicely flavored!). The ambience was modern, updated, and felt welcoming and (thankfully) a bit familiar. Brought back some good ol' memories even if only the Baker's Square part of the menu was just pies nowadays. But the Village Inn lives on! And that counts - and I'll return. You should check it out too if you enjoy a good brekky at a classic American diner!

The combo pho is generously portioned with lots of meats, noodles, and an addictive broth. Hubs and the kids devour their bowls and then whine about how full they are - LOL! There's a lot so I end up getting at least 2 meals from an order. I love their crab Rangoon too! The wrapper is light, thin, and crispy with a good amount of filling. It's so well balanced. We end up getting 2 orders because it's that good. The fresh spring rolls are very good as well. They have 2 whole shrimps in each roll unlike most places where they split a shrimp in half per roll. Pho Son Ha splits 2 shrimps for each roll meaning an order has 4 pieces of shrimp. The inside has seating, but it's a cozy place. There are probably 8 tables and they're close to each other, but not invasive or uncomfortable. This is a family owned business and the family all pitches in to take orders, serve, clean tables, and handle take outs. Everyone is so gracious and grateful! I decided to make 7 pm reservations for our favorite Argentinian Restaurant! It was easy and painless to make. A quick call. Driving to the restaurant, I was expecting it to be jam packed as the restaurant eating area is small and cozy. As we pulled into the parking lot, my hunch was confirmed. The parking lot was full and we can see people outside. We arrived a couple minutes before 7 and when I walked in, I had to work my way through people waiting to be seated. The staff was non stop busy and was in and out of the kitchen. Based on how packed it was, I knew it reservations would not be on time but for how long? I checked in and the staff member told me that a 4 top was just finishing, and it is ours as soon as they are done paying - 15 -20 minutes at the most is what he estimated. 15 minutes later, we were seated. I was happy considering how busy they were and the communication was great. We received heart shaped bread and water immediately and that was nice. They usually have breadsticks so I loved the touch of the shaped bread. The staff took a little while to get our food order, my guess was it was to pace the kitchen and the wait staff. It was ok cause we had great company at the table. We got our order in and the server was great and apologized for the wait and we totally understood. My wife and I shared a meal. Two empanadas and their cheese lasagna. My friend got calamari to share and ribeye steak. His wife got the pasta with shrimp. The appetizers came out in a timely matter, hot and fresh. The empanadas are homemade (spinach cheese and capreses). The crust is the make it break for empanadas and it was good as usual. The main course meals came out and they already split our meal which was unexpected and great service. The steak looked scrumptious and the pasta looked well dressed. As for as our lasagna, the amount of sauce was well balanced, the flavor of the tomato cream sauce had a nice tang to it, it was not loose or too thick. The pasta was tender and the parm, ricotta, and mozzarella was cheese had the right amount of each and topped with shaved parm. I loved it and would get it again. I'm a pescatarian but when I saw my friend's ribeye, I just had to try a slice. And did I make the right choice. The meat was tender and was cooked to the right temp. The chimichurri was delicious and pairs well the steak. What's Valentine's Day without sweets! We ordered Tiramisu and Flan Con Dulce De Leche to share and they were solid choices. Both were good and very tasty. The sizes were perfect to share although I would have made room to eat both of hem to myself. The overall experience was great considering how busy it was. The staff were exceptionally friendly and kept that excitement of serving the customers knowing how busy the restaurant was. I highly recommend this place do far, the friends were have dined here with has come back multiple times. They would send my text messages with pics of them dining. I always respond, "did I miss the invite?"
