This is the one chain that I really like. The food is consistently good from location to location. It's not as cozy as my favorite on Waukegan Rd. but it's near the house. We find that we go here frequently for a quick lunch or a cheap breakfast. Coffee is excellent & the bagels are more substantial, not all fluffy. Soups are decent. This place in specific just doesn't meet the quality of other surrounding Panera's. You wait in line all the time (drive thru) that tends to take 15 minutes and the food always has a hair in it. The nice thing about chain restaurants is consistency between the different restaurants. This one was up to par with the others. The food was good and the service was good--just as I expected. I really like the Pick 2 option and feel like you get a good amount of food with that. I don't like the setup of this restaurant as much. The dining area is all open so there is no quiet little corner to tuck yourself away and get some work done. It's fine for having dinner with a friend but that's not usually why I go to Panera. But the food is just OK and at my last visit I picked up two brownies which looked decadently chocolatey and moist. Well, they did have a deep chocolate flavor, but were totally dry. Tomato motzarella panini is sooo flavorful. It has basil, which goes perfectly with the tomato. I also love their soups in a bread bowl, if you are not very hungry get just the cup. Every time I come to this drive-through I end up sitting there waiting anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes without any response from anybody at the drive-through. If someone would simply say "hey we are busy right now and will be be with you shortly" then I wouldn't even be upset but this is the third time I've been here and they just straight up ignore the drive-through. I ended up leaving after five minutes of silence and me saying hello to only get no response. read more

I like the setup of the inside of this Panera but the parking lot is really tricky to get into at that intersection and they DON'T have a diaper changing station. If you don't have children then fine but this is kinda a big deal for moms and since Panera is family friendly it should be a requirement. I won't be back mainly because of that. Avoid this location because it's the slowest, most often miss-made order location in the chain. Ordered the Ancient Grains, Arugula & Chicken salad. Should have checked the bag before I left. They gave me the Asian Sesame Salad with Chicken. Had to drive back so I could get the salad I ordered. Two days later: 15 minutes in the drive-thru. Ordered the Ancient Grains, Arugula & Chicken salad, full sized. I paid for full sized. Received a half sized with an apple. Knew the bag was too small for a full sized salad so before she closed the window I gave the half sized salad back. She returns with my full sized salad, she grabbed the wrong bag, you had one job. Got to where I was going, no napkins, no utensils! How does someone eat a salad with no fork?? I can't imagine this location lasting more than a year. I WON'T be going back. read more

I used to like this Panera. Went in for dinner yesterday and placed my order. After paying and sitting down, I am notified that they are out of the flatbread (I had ordered buffalo chicken flatbread) and that I could pick a different sandwich for my "pick 2." I picked a grilled cheese, since I'm not too big on any of the other sandwich options. When I got the grilled cheese, it was like biting into a brick of rubber. My soup bowl was also not full, and there was a hair in my boyfriend's sandwich. Then, I hear the couple next to us be told by an employee that they are out of the bread for the sandwich they ordered too. They offered to substitute a different type of bread for the sandwich. Why wasn't I given this offer?? I would have been much happier to just eat the sandwich I wanted on different bread than to be given that brick of yellow/orange rubber. Ordered 12 box lunches from here for a work lunch meeting. Two of the salads were Caesar and came with no dressing on it or on the side. The lettuce was turning brown and croutons mushy. The boxes that had the French bread as a side didn't come with butter! Who serves plain bread? Bread and butter go together can't have one without the other. This particular location is horrible. Asked them to make the chicken cesar sandwich that they took off menu, they said they can make it. I made sure to ask if I'm getting the full sandwich they said yes. Then I only got only half a sandwich and basically lettuce and a few pieces of chicken....and the explanation was that If I paid the full salad price I would of got a full sandwich..... Panera is one of my favorite places and it's pretty hard to get a cinnamon crunch bagel wrong, but they do it every time. Not only does it take 15 minutes to get one toasted bagel, but they consistently forget to put the cream cheese in the bag. I'm not sure why they can't toast the bagel in the front by the register like every other panera instead of waiting for them to make 12 other full meals. Went there with my sister today and our drinks were wrong!! Mine was half the cup!! My sister ordered vegan sandwich and her lettuce was dripping water so gross!! Bread was not toasted it was just bed!! My Carmel latte had no Carmel just tasted like regular coffee.
