Food on the menu is pretty simple I would say. Ordering process is a lil bit extra but I guess it goes with the "modern" look. What I didn't like was when our order was ready, we went to the pick-up desk and the server did not tell us which one was our order. I know I ordered a salad but there was like 4 other plates there that were salads also. So confusing when they couldn't just hand you your order. Other than that, I had a nice breakfast. It's decent, dressed-up fast food that actually does spoil if not refrigerated, so when I am famished and in the depths of strip-mall purgatory, Panera will usually be my dining spot of choice. That said, this Panera needs a little work. My chicken panini was served cold, and the chocolate chip cookie I had was stale. My husbands salad was rubbery, and while the tomato soup was decent it was incredibly acidic-tasting. The staff is completely capable and service was efficient, the space was clean and there were no glaring issues aside from the lackluster food. If you find yourself in this area of Attleboro and need a quick lunch, this place is totally fine -- just don't expect anything beyond that. read more

The lady making the sandwiches made my 70yr old fathers sandwich wrong and instead of re making it she said yes pickles are on it he said no and she fought back saying she could see them from there he lifts the bun said no it's lettuce and she said he touched it so she can't it back now and throws her hands in the air. Terrible terrible terrible. I have been a rewards member with this Panera for over 5 years and since then, the place is just going downhill. Literally EVERY single time I go, my order comes out wrong. Not only that, but they have a sign stating any wrong orders can be fixed and you'll be given something free. Not ONCE have I been offered that or even an apology from management. I can't believe it. Also, they used to carry a chicken Caesar sandwich which is now discontinued but they still make it with no issue(usually). Totally agreed with the other 3 stars review. This place is a sandwich/bakery, they should focus more on sandwich Manu, not sure why there were many choice on pasta/steak? The dinning area is spacious and clean. The food is not so much of yummy taste. My fiancé and I ordered Smoked Turkey sandwich, the taste is plain. Also the Frontega Chicken Sandwich is the same way. Horrible customer service. I ordered rapid pickup and my food was ready when I got there (per screen) but the workers never brought my food to the rapid pickup shelf. So I asked a cashier to check on my food. They said sure then turned around and went back to cashiering. Then another customer gets their food handed to them because they knew the food preparer. Walked by me twice and not once did the food preparer ask if I was waiting for food even though I'm standing in front of the rapid pickup shelf. Sad. Finally a manager walks by and I tell them my foods been ready but the manager didn't know where my food was. So he goes back to prepare a new order and sees my bag sitting there. Great. I wish I understood what possesses me to keep going to Panera, especially in this location. I really want to like it and sometimes my brain convinces me it's a great idea for a quick lunch. It never is. There is always something wrong with the food: the soup and its instant mashed potato consistency is cold, my last sandwich had a gristly inch-long piece of "turkey" and probably never even saw a picture of a cranberry sauce can in its life, let alone a panini press, the lettuce is wilted and sad. I hate to be the fly-in-the-soup customer, but it's happened to my husband here (they did offer to replace it, but ick). Even their pastries aren't good anymore; they're too greasy and stale most of the time. Even the staff is lacklustre. You'd probably get better food at McDonald's. What really gets me is how ridiculously over-priced they are. Their menu prices are bad enough, but I always have to double check the receipt, as sometimes the price magically creeps up beyond their posted up-pricing. Good luck pointing it out, as the staff was completely baffled by it when shown. I feel this is more a reflection of the company and the managers than the employees; if prices change, fine, but you should update your board to reflect them. What's really sad is that, for the same price, give or take a couple dollars, you can go, sit at a table, and have the endless soup and salad at Bertucci's. I keep foolishly giving the North Attleboro Panera chance after chance due to convencience. Hoping that one day they will at least be just up to par with others I frequent. If not for the location factor, I would never set foot in here again. They once were late with my catering order for a work meeting. I arrived right on time to pick up and waited almost 20 minutes for my order and they were barely apologetic. Panera is Panera but this location needs some major customer service help. My daughter and I went there for lunch today and I ordered a Caesar salad with no croutons because I have celiac. No biggie right? The cashier couldn't figure out how to put the order in and the manager who clearly wasn't having a good day didn't really help her employee or acknowledge her customers. Food comes out and my crouton less Caesar salad (which supposedly had a note that I had Celiac) was served with a baguette. Awesome. I exchanged it for chips and struggled to carry all the food and my daughter and not once did any employee offer to help out a bit (something the Lincoln store always does). Once we were finally sat, my somewhat clumsy daughter managed to fall off her chair and hit her head on the people sitting next to us. All of the fellow patrons were concerned and ran over to offer assistance and get her some ice but the Panera employees? Too busy complaining about their job behind the counter and no one even checked on us. As an overall restaurant, I love Panera Bread. I've been to so many different locations, but this one I must say, is the worst. A week ago I visited Panera in Smithfield. Delicious, presentable food as always. The next day, due to convenience, my mother and I went to North Attleboro Panera. Disgusting is the word. We had many issues. 1. The employees, while nice, were lazy. When my mom asked for a water bottle from the fridge, not one that's been sitting out all day, she was answered with an eye roll and a dirty look from the manager. Laziness. 2. The food was sub par. There were 4 small pieces of chicken on my moms panini... It looked like 2 pieces of bread stuck together. My brother order two bagels with butter and wasn't given butter, or a knife. The soup in my sisters bread bowl was halfway full. 3. The atmosphere was insane. They don't give you the vibrators to tell you when your food is ready, instead they shout across the restaurant! This is a very busy Panera that seems like a local hotspot for teens. Which is great, if you're a teen. I wouldn't come here to get any work done. The food is your average Panera, but I felt a little less love in my items. My sandwich was sloppily slapped together, and my salad was full of all kinds of brown. I like their salads and soups mostly. Haven't had a sandwich in a long time. Pastry items are always yummy. Often stop in for bagels for home too. Week days at lunch time this place is very busy but the line moves quickly. Good spots are often taken by people trying to work rather than eat but Panera doesn't seem to discourage it. It's annoying to have to listen to some one's job interview, conference call, or have one person occupy a whole booth with just a coffee and clearly set up to work for the long haul but oh well. I am not the biggest fan of Panera. I think they are a little over priced for what they over. I do like their bakery and drink options but, the lunch isn't really my thing. The Iced Green Tea is my favorite thing they offer by far, it is delicious. Although now I have been asking for it light on the ice because sometimes they put so much ice in I can't even get the straw in. The service here is okay a lot of part-time high school kids so it can be hit or miss. Being on the route one strip it is always busy here on the weekends and can be difficult to get a table. I really enjoy Panera Bread, especially their cinnamon rolls and bagels. I don't drink coffee, so I can't speak about that, but the food is to die for. When I came here, there were only a few people sitting down and it was easy to find a place to sit and relax. I got a bagel with cream cheese and a water and sat down to eat and play on my phone. The person that made my bagel was new to the store and was very nice, but a bit scared, so I tried to calm her down and told her to relax, "no worries here". If you value your life, DO NOT COME HERE! I decided I'd try a new place to eat as I'd just gotten paid and was feeling extra hungry, so I decide I'd give this place a try. WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE THUS FAR. I walked in, and some pudgy Caucasian kid with long hair who works there starts pointing at me and laughing along with some girl. I ignore it and order my food. While I'm waiting, the same kid walks by and bumps into me, I turn to him and he says "What?" At this point, I'm scared. I decide to go into the bathroom for a bit to think about what just happened. Although they got smart and installed electronic order taking systems since every Panera's service sucks and their employees are clueless and slow. I'd go more often if this place wasn't a time consuming pain. The plaza is a traffic ridden, overcrowded nightmare to enter or exit (not considering the congested mess of a road it's off of.) At certain times, like after work or mid day on weekends, this Panera is overcrowded and busy. They typically leave one employee at the register to manage the line out the door, and sometimes there are others standing 5 inches away just chatting. Some of the employees are polite and professional, but others don't seem to care, and feel entitled to be rude. My name has been listed on my order with spelling issues to the point of being unrecognizable (Ashley starts with an S, has no vowels, and includes 3 Rs - how?) This wouldn't bother me if I received a receipt for reference, but sometimes it's a game trying to pickup my food. This seems like a bad area based on the people and behavior I've witnessed. I'm extremely uncomfortable during my visits, and can't wait to run out and lock the car door behind me! A friend and I stopped by for a sandwich at about 5, midweek. At the time there were about four customers at tables. We placed our orders using kiosks. My kiosk continued to stall for a few minutes at the confirmation stage. I asked the person taking orders for help. She came by, said, "That happens sometimes. It takes a while" and left. It continued to stall for a minute later. I again notified that same woman. She said she'd get her manager. The manager came out and said that there's often trouble with this kiosk. The order didn't go through. He'd take it at a register. I placed the order and waited with my friend at a table for my name (the order) to be called. After 15 minutes, I went to the pick-up area to inquire. The same woman who I had my initial contact with was now preparing food. I asked about my order. She said, "The order for Lisa? I gave that out." I went to the manager who was behind the counter, told him what had happened. He said I'll order another. I said, I've been here 20 minutes now. I'll take my money back. He tossed the money into my hands without a word. I said, "I can see you're very bothered by this incident." He gave no explanation or apology. Nothing. I walked away and left. Not a good experience, not to mention the place was filthy. I know workers are hard to find, but this was incredible. I order from here often as I work close by. WHEN the rapid pick up works you get your order in 10 minutes. When it doesn't work, which is often, it's 20-25. For a salad!! Rapid pick up orders are usually incorrect (most of the time missing utensils or incorrect side) even though they are all checked and initialed by a manager. One night I went in 5 minutes before close and they were giving their bakery items to the staff to take home. What happened to donating to shelters? I have actually found a piece of plastic from their bags of soup IN my soup and numerous times have picked pieces of hair out of my food.
