We arrived at about 10am for a late breakfast. If you're not familiar with the menu or ordering options, you can figure it out by reading the signs. That's good cause staff aren't very welcoming.
The first visible counter staff was mid-meltdown about some delay on an order for another customer. The colleague she was talking to washed her hands in the sink, without soap, and wiped them off on her (dirty) apron...,just before she handled some bread. Yuck.
The wonky order was delivered to the waiting customer and it was our turn to order. We got bread and a wrap, paid the bill, got our battery operated "finder" and went to find a seat.
The facility is dirty. There are rips in the vinyl bench seats, dusty (crumby) floors, and the view of the food prep line revealed counters that were a mess and looked dirty.
Our order came quickly. The wrap was okay...but not sliced to make it easier to eat. No utensils were easy to find (we haven't been back here in a long while and stuff isn't readily visible.)
The food was warm when it arrived and tasted okay. There's a clever menu, albeit pricy for what you get.
Throughout our visit, counter staff continued to blather on about whatever drama festered before we got there. No management person was noticeable. There should have been someone in the employee ranks to settle things down. Our meal was just eh, and we had to listen to the
saga of the lost something or another.
Disappointing. Staff here should suck it up and wait on customers. They should all get acquainted with brooms, mops, and laundry facilities to clean uniforms. There was no pride of place demonstrated by staff at this place this day. It wasn't an experience we are likely to repeat. read more
