The place is a cute little vibe. Our waitress was superb. I got the surfer girl omelet. It was really good..,until I found a little hair in it. I was close to being done anyway. It happens. My partner had pancakes and while he said they were good and fluffy, the syrup left a little to be desired. It was thin and had an artificial taste to it. Excellent service from check in to table service. They originated in Louisville, Kentucky for first location. Service was excellent. I tried one of the popular casseroles picture and description attached to this post. Everything you can tell us homemade and fresh great dining room atmosphere and the staff is really friendly. A lot of people in training, but you could not tell that. Very bright dining room well lit great variety of breakfast items and brunch items served all day. The casserole comes with a side item. I pick sourdough toast. It was just OK. I really wish I would've picked a blueberry muffin or everything muffin but I told him that and they're going to bring me a complementary blueberry muffin the wait staff is really phenomenal. Wild Eggs is a casual brunch spot with quirky decor and great service. The menu has breakfast and lunch faves, and they have many unique drinks as well. Our server was polite and thorough, always keeping our drinks full. All of the food came out hot and fresh! We tried the breakfast tots, which tasted like hashbrown casserole, although a bit salty. My group also ordered the steak bennie with pico, steak and eggs, and the surfer girl omelette with ham added. The steaks and omelette were not seasoned very well, but the fresh, warm blueberry muffins that come on the side were absolutely to die for! We will definitely be returning to try more of their dishes! read more

Not the best experience but not the worst. VERY chaotic at the host stand with less than welcoming staff, and waited 15 minutes longer than our reservation time which wasn't a deal breaker. We ordered the cinnamon roll to start which was absolutely mouth watering!!! However it sat there for 5 minutes while we flagged down our server for silverware. The husband enjoyed his non-traditional chilaquiles and I ordered the Border Benedict. Unfortunately the cornmeal patties were complete mush and the poached eggs were hard. I was really bummed because they sounded fantastic. If I did come back, I'll stick to more traditional options and definitely order another cinnamon roll! read more

Hotel buffet scrambled eggs, A coffee that is 99% water, terrible service and wait. I don't think I've ever had a worse breakfast for $50... Perhaps the restaurant should be renamed to "Powdered Eggs" since that is actually what they serve. One of my favorite breakfast spots in Louisville is Wild Eggs; so I was so excited when I found out that Evansville was getting one! My husband and I visited Saturday morning around 10am and were seated right away. The restaurant is large with lots of seating. I started things off right with a peach mimosa. While it was very good, it is on the sweeter side. It is also served with a peach ring candy in the drink as well as one on the sugar lined rim. I went there wanting a Bloody Mary but they are still working on their liquor license so they are not yet able to serve liquor, but it is in the works. We then moved onto their famous cinnamon roll that comes out piping hot in a cast iron skillet and is topped with a delicious cream cheese frosting. Lots of sugar, spice, and everything nice. If sugar is not your thing then this may not be for you as it is very very sweet. For my main course I ordered the southwest steak and cheese omelet which came with a side of home fries and an everything muffin. The omelet was loaded with steak, peppers, onions, and pepper jack cheese and served with a side of pico. The home fries were good, just basic fried potatoes. I absolutely loved the everything muffin. Fluffy and full of everything seasoning. Omelet was huge and easily enough for two people. My husband got the breakfast burrito which is massive and stuffed with eggs, chorizo, cheddar jack cheese, poblano peppers and onions; topped with pico, guacamole, queso, and sour cream. The burrito was served with home fries and the most amazing black beans I have ever tasted. Husband said he really enjoyed his food. Our waiter was very nice, made good recommendations, and was very hospitable. We were greeted both on arrival and departure which is always nice. We will definitely be back very soon! read more

Ordered the Creole shrimp omelette did not see or Taste any shrimp in it. It was supposed to come with an everything muffin but was served a blueberry muffin and told that there was a change. The seating is what you would expect for a cafe/diner style place and is a bit on the noisy side. They have outdoor seating but only for parties of two or less. read more

Service will keep us from coming back. Second visit since opening and has not improved. Meal flavor was average or "Blah" "Bland" by wife's description. Server brought wrong item to me and he spent more time talking to Hostess than tending to customers. Loud environment and unprofessional service would best describe our experience. read more
