Studying social research and policy while enjoying breakfast...
Milo B.

This Illy Philly has to study and work, and I needed a space that I wouldn't be rushed out of, so I headed to Panera in Robinson, near Walmart, to get my work done. I ordered the squash soup with the non dairy green passion smoothie, and they were both delicous. Panera is great because they're open till 8 0n Sundays and for the most part is relatively quiet

Half bowl of soup.

They offer a cup or bowl of soup. I ordered a bowl as it was all I was having for lunch. The bowl was half empty and the friend I was with got a cup and it was full. I was charged for a bowl and got less then a cup of underwhelming soup. Your handed a cheap plastic spoon to eat with. When you pay, you are asked how much of a tip you want to add to the check. I always tip 20% to 25% for service, but what service are they providing? You order at the register, pick up you food at the counter, and clean up your table when you leave. McDonalds brings you food to the table, sad Panera Bread provides less service then McDonalds and asks for a tip. I'm certainly not eating at Panera again.

Plastic In my French onion soup
J. E.

Found a piece of plastic in my French onion soup. This location is pretty rough, you are probably better off going elsewhere.

Pulled Pork Barbecue sandwich
Foodie F.

Got their pulled pork half sandwich to dine in. Opened box and this is what it looks and tastes like. Need I say more?

This is the 'steak' sandwich. I chose not to get the pickled onions, but c'mon.

Coffee hardly ever filled, mixed with cream empty half the time. The attitude of about 30% of staff, thank God for the nice ones.

Solely staffed by people under 17. This is the slowest place I've ever been and will not be returning.

Palmyra Mediterranean Cuisine - Chicken, lamb/beef, and falafel with garlic sauce

Palmyra Mediterranean Cuisine

I feel like I'm walking through Mykonos whenever I take a bite into their food the service was…read moregreat and the honey balls are very crisp

First, you need to know that this is not your typical mall food court food. The first time I ever…read moretried Palmyra, I told my husband they served some of the best falafel I've ever had. I always order the chicken and falafel combo plate that comes with rice and diced tomatoes/cukes/lettuce, and some pita. It's all good. All of it. I've tried the falafel, the chicken, and the lamb/beef. It's all delicious, and the rice is a fluffy bed of goodness for it all. The garlic sauce is a tasty complement and the hot sauce is a little sweet and will blow your head off so get it on the side if you don't like heat, or you're going to be one sad, hot pup. (I do like heat and I still get it on the side.) But the people that own this place are terrific, and here's why I was extra motivated to leave this review: tonight I had to work late. I sent my family out to dinner so I could work through dinner. They went to a certain mall burger joint and I asked them to bring me Palmyra if it was still open when they were done. "If it's closed when you're done, no big deal." So they went to the counter, and they didn't realize the place was already closing. The owners insisted on serving them anyway. They were out of some things, so they made me a combo plate of the bit of lamb they had left, and a sizeable portion of chicken, plus they fried me two FRESH falafel. (Seriously. They could have just told him, "Sorry, out of falafel," and didn't.) And instead of a bed of rice, they gave me a delicious, generous bed of mujadarra (a special from today, maybe?)--all in all, a *pile* of food. My husband apologized profusely for inconveniencing anyone and thanked them because his wife had to work late and Palmyra was my request. The owner was gracious and just lovely to him. My husband came home and started the story by telling me, "These people are AWESOME." And they really are, because this delicious combo of food hit just right tonight, and hearing that they provided it as they were closing the place for the evening makes me know they're good humans as well as good cooks. And we need more good humans in the world.
