Panera is experiencing systemic failures in training and quality control. Expect something to be wrong with your order every time. Check your bag before leaving for rapid pickup. Did you order soup? Probably don't have a spoon. What do you get when you order a salad with extra dressing? That's right, NO dressing! Employees do not have attention to detail and this chain is quickly slipping away. Portion sizes are not consistent, and ingredients missing. Hope management is reading these negative reviews, but honestly they are likely the problem. read more

Don't get me wrong the food is good but I am constantly having my food messed up whether I ask for an item to be removed or added. It would be fine if it was once but it's constant when you go in the drive through. Like today I ordered a Turkey bacon bravo and I didn't even get the bacon. I know that one is difficult because it's not like it is in the name of the sandwich. But other than that I do recommend unless you don't want to wait for your food to be made correctly. read more

Dirty, cold pizza and soup. When I told cashier that all tables are not clean, she gave me wipes. Thanks for that, lol. I let them know but no one clean after all while I was there. Even we don't get COVID there are something else to pass the germs. As a Panera member, I want them to fix this problem. read more

Came for breakfast, I got the white egg sandwich but I asked for sourdough and I asked for a cup of olive oil and I received my sandwich just as requested. Good enough for me to write a review! read more

As always this place doesn't disappoint. Fast service and I got my food as ordered and hot.

The service here has seriously been lacking. Stood at the counter with 3 ppl standing behind the register chit chatting. Not a single one of the acknowledged me. So I turned around and used the self check out computers. Which deleted my order then there weren't even any pagers. Food was brought out and soup was barely warm and I was told they would bring me a cup for my drink. Again no one comes back. I used to love coming to panera and the quality and service used to be really good. If I wasn't meeting someone there I would have left. I'm done trying with this place. There are much better places to have lunch. read more

Stopped by on my way home tonight Ordered inside not drive-thru and got home with my strawberry poppyseed salad with NO poppyseed dressing, none at all...very disappointing !!! I didn't even eat it read more

Food around this whole area just sucks! People around here hate working (I understand the beach is right down the road). This Panera is awful. The customer service is non existent. The foods portion is RIDICULOUS!!! The food is not as fresh like the one is Destin which is surprising how many people still eat here. If you want crap service and small portions this is your place!!! read more

Was craving a good salad, first time ever eating PaneraBread I pulled in and I was amazed at the selections of food to order but it was hot and so I wanted a salad, now I ordered the Greek salad with grilled chicken. Salad was great only small fault and it's me being picky I like my grilled chicken a little scorched. Other than that yeah I'll eat here again. read more

Um, Panera Bread, why don't you go ahead and commit suicide already? I mean, seriously, how much more horrible can you get? Do you not speak English, because every time we've ordered, you ALWAYS get the order wrong! What about the time when we asked for 3 baguettes as our sides and you gave us 2 small bags of junky potato chips and 1/4 of a half eaten baguette? How disgusting is that? I was feeding military families. They go to war, they don't deserve that. I did go back the next day and ask for a replacement baguette. The size of the baguette is the 'normal size' baguette that they serve in the Houston, TX Panera Bread locations? Are you guys cheap? I also noticed that Mary Esther, FL Panera Bread location only gives you 1/4 of a baguette, do you call that a side? What about the time when I ordered a caesar salad with grilled chicken and I got 100% complete wilted lettuce, no croutons, no parmesan cheese, and 'shaved chicken pieces', 4 to be correct. I simply lost my appetite and didn't eat the salad, and I snacked on my husband's 1/4 baguette side and my 1/4 baguette side. Also every time I come, I can never find a clean table. I feel that you are catering more towards your 'Internet' customers who sip on tea, what about the families trying to eat and spend money? Seriously? Improve your business, I chose to eat at your establishment because it is a healthier alternative to fast food, but instead I should have just eaten fast food, because you conduct yourselves below the level of trashy, and any other fast food establishment will still get my order right and give me a decent sized chicken in my salad, oh and I won't lose my appetite. read more

Cannot believe what I actually saw. The woman working at the window 10/20/16 at 6:00pm just dropped my apple on the floor and put it in my bag. There is a dent where the impact was made. Absolutely disgusted at this location now. Never returning. read more

Panera Bread - Apple dented from where the woman dropped it on the floor. Pathetic. - Sandwiches Near Me - Mary Esther, Florida

Consistently bad food. Order is always wrong after multiple attempts to get it right. I even followed the rude managers advice and ordered it a different way because apparently extra sauce or chipotle mayo is difficult to understand. Ordered it on the side this time.....never seen runny mayo before were the oil in it has actually separated. Ended up fixing my own 8 dollar sandwhich rather than ask them too when I got home. This combined with the time I came there with a large military order and was asked to not return because they couldn't handle our orders we faxed in hours before coming to pick up. Is more than enough to never return to this location. The one in destin is at least on par with other places I have visited. read more

The employees here never get my order right. When I complain the manager apologizes, corrects my order and gives me gift certificates. Apologies don't mean much if the behavior never changes. I like the soups here - why can't they get it right??? read more

I typically order a standard salad and build it from the ground-up with my own, personalized toppings. I don't mind paying $1.79 for chicken, but I do mind when they give me 3-5 pieces of it in a large salad. This goes for the avocado also. I always receive such a small portion. Not to mention, I once ordered a turkey sandwich (turkey and lettuce, that's it) through rapid pickup. Got home, took a bite out of my sandwich, and was surprised to find only lettuce. How do you forget the turkey in a two-ingredient TURKEY sandwich?!?! So I drove all the way back. Granted, the manager handled the situation very well, but I was still not too happy of a camper. I'm considering driving out to Destin or Gulf Breeze for my Panera fix now as I've heard those locations are better all-around. Panera is pricey for what they serve, we can all admit it. The least they could do is give you your money's worth. read more

I love Panera Bread, but this location is honestly the worst one. On the rare occasion my food does not come out cold, half-cooked, or entirely wrong, they skimp me on the portion sizes. Got a bowl of chicken noodle soup for lunch just now since I'm working through a cold. Naturally there's almost no veggies, noodles or chicken! I got maybe 3-4 bites, now there's nothing left but broth. So my lunch today is a baugette and broth. Thanks for continuing to meet your pitiably low standards! At least y'all are consistent. read more

I love Panera. This one is especially nice because I love the drive thru option if needed. The salads and soups are my favorite. I don't recommend the chicken noodle soup... it's low fat because there's basically nothing but broth. Just skip it and get something else (unless you like broth). I also love a good bagel with cream cheese on occasion. The whole grain bagel is my favorite. My husband loves the sandwiches and their baguette. Not really picky. He likes bread, meat, and cheese. My four year old daughter will not eat mac and cheese from anywhere but here. The chai latte is the best. Add a shot of espresso if you dare... takes it over the top. So good. Being pregnant, I don't want to give up my love of coffee, but it's hard to find a good decaf. Their decaf coffee is hands-down the best decaf coffee I've ever had. You really can't go wrong. I eat here at least twice a week and never have had any issues. Customer service is great. read more

This restaurant has deteriorated since their renovation. The cashier that I had asked me to repeat my order 5 times and still she could not get it right. When it came time to receive my food, another couple had to tell me that the prompts were not working and I would have to get my own food. By that time, the food was cold and was not good or prepared as I had stated. The booth was unclean as well as the floors. Many of the eating areas were also unclean. Sad, as it used to be a decent place to eat. read more

It's edible food, so that's good news. I don't come here by choice, normally there's a picky person who I'm visiting with that has to come here. The inside is actually really nice now, the food is bland. This is another why bother spending your money here, I greatly regret it every time, and I never feel great afterwards. Save your money for sushi or go buy steak to grill, in my opinion. read more

I understand the new layout is probably to stay trendy with Starbucks and appeal to the young professionals but it sucks!! I also think they should do something with the thermostat and it being super cold! Three people mentioned it to several employees and nothing was done about it! read more

Was in for a late afternoon working lunch, we were at one point the only guests in the restaurant. Every singles table was filthy including the table we had to clean ourselves to eat at. We were in Panera for about 2.5 hours and not one employee came out to clean any of the tables or the dirty floors. I will give Panera the food is great, but this location has been one of the worst I have ever visited! Very disappointed. read more

We just got home from ordering food from Panera. Of course they forgot to give us our family size order of chicken noodle soup. We call them and they say we have to come back in to get it. We ask them why can't they deliver but they say "it's a liability"???? So my husband drives back to Panera to get the soup and they proceed to give him a hard time about it. They didn't offer any discount or apologies. We will think before we go back again. read more

Grant atmosphere and great food. They don't have pictures on the menu but check online and everything pretty much looks delicious. I love how we pay first and wait for our food to buzz in. I'm usually here after the busy hours so it's pretty lovely. Lots of great natural lighting and comfortable. They didn't have my usual order, which is the downfall of coming at the end of the day but they accommodated me. read more

Purchased a chicken Caesar salad whole one. And when I get ready to have lunch it was about a cup and a quarter of Romain lettuce. $10 that's a lot of money for a little bit of salad won't go back there read more

Always delicious, frontega chicken dipped in broccoli cheddar is the best. As with any Panera , this restaurant is very modern and has much to offer. They have charging outlets available probably at every single seat , you can order thru your phone or on a tablet in the restaurant , or go to the counter if you want. I've never had a bad meal here. read more

I went in yesterday and got a you pick 2 with a soup and a sandwich. I ordered at 6:40 and at 6:50 an employee brought me food, but it wasn't my food and I was trying to tell her what I got and she walked away from me. I can hear her talking to her manager and she said I only needed the sandwich, so at 7 she brought me my sandwich, but not my soup. Once I got all my food my sandwich had practically no meat on it and my soup was cold. I went back today and placed a rapid order. It said my food would be ready by 12:38, but it didn't get done till 12:48. I will say that this time all my food was correct and my sandwich had more meat on it, but the meat was cold and the cheese wasn't melted. read more

My husband and I love this place . Food is great ! Customer service is amazing . Strongly recommend

Date of visit: Saturday, January 14 Time of day: 1 ish Those in attendance/items ordered: Me: Pick 2...Chicken salad sandwich on whole grain, greek salad no olives, french baguette. Unsweet tea. Friend 1: Same as me. More details in the Random Notes section. Friend 2: Sierra Turkey Pick 2, chili, and a french baguette. Bottle of water to drink. Not sure on when this was built...but it is a Free-Stander and it has a drive-thru. Those two facts lead me to believe that it was built in the last few years. The 1 pm lunch is about 2 hours past my normal lunch feeding time, so needless to say, I was hungry. I was surprised to see such a large bustling crowd at 1 in the afternoon...who knew! I enjoyed the overall atmosphere/vibe of this Panera. It was busy, yet the layout didn't make it seem super crowded. The had a very nice patio area. We chose to sit inside, as it was just a bit too chilly to sit outside for the meal. read more

Whenever I'm feeling tired of the same old fast food I go here. I have eaten inside a couple of times. Service is great. Food takes a while to get to you but that's because I went during lunch rush hour. Dining area is clean and has been remodeled for a more modern look. Very cute and comfortable. Going through the drive thru has been good so far. They have messed up on my order once while going through drive thru, but I don't hold it against them. I have tried a multitude of food here and always go back to the same Caesar chicken salad. It's very fresh and delicious. I've also just recently found their Mac and cheese which is growing on me. Sandwiches have always been fresh for me. And their tea is delicious. Pricing is expensive but you get what you pay for, Fresh quality food. Overall great place to get something fresh and healthy. Would recommend. read more

Just ordered take out. Order was perfect. Time was correct for pickup. Food is always great!

Gonna keep this plain and simple. Ordered the Napa chicken salad sandwich. Very tasty...for the little that was on my sandwich. Skimpy chicken and all bread. Service was so so...but seems like people were inexperienced at their job today. Very slow. Two stars because I paid the pricey rate for my food...and was searching for my chicken salad between the chunky bread slices. Not cool. read more

Food was fine. Service was ok. My biggest gripe is the renovation. The place doesn't look inviting; it's very stale with bland colors and almost a waiting room-type atmosphere. The original design had a distinct feel, but now it's very generic; no personality, almost corporate-looking. read more

I just want to say congrats to the people making the food today. The chipotle chicken avocado sandwich didn't have anything in it other than the chicken and cheese. Also got a grilled cheese, the cheese wasn't even melted. Good job. read more

We stopped here during a recent road trip and grabbed breakfast to-go. It was not very busy around 8 am, but it was Memorial Day. The service was friendly and fast. We got a couple of toasted bagels and a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll was delicious and tasted fresh. The bagels were ordered with butter and we didn't realize the butter was served on the side until we got in the car. Since they bagels were mostly cooled by that time, the butter didn't really melt well. It wasn't a big deal though, and next time we will remember to ask for the bagels to be buttered after toasting and before serving. read more

The Mary Ester cutoff location is horrible about not putting any thing in their sandwiched. I had there steak and white cheese panini. Large sandwich, big bread, one slice of meat, miniature piece of cheese, that's it. What a rip off, stick to soup and salad. read more

I love my Panera and LOVE my Asian sesame chicken salad even more, so I must say I am VERY upset that it is missing the cilantro on it :( I mean when I am paying 11.23 for a salad and a tea just to bring it back to the office and see that it is NOT made the way it is supposed to be I am totally bummed, not to mention the girl at the window should not be at the window if she has NO personality, not even a hello how are you today, or have a good day thank you...nothing, I guess you can say I am just upset that I drove to Panera expecting to get my yummy salad just to get it back to the office and be let down BIG TIME!! Had great customer service tonight. My family all had soup and I noticed mine was noticeably less of a bowl than the other two bowls. I brought it to their attention, thinking they might just add some soup to my bowl, but instead they gave me another full bowl. Everything tasted really good and was definitely hot enough. Thanks for the experience! read more

As much as I like eating here, I can't for the life of me figure out why every Panera Bread is so dang small, which makes for a very loud place to eat. You cant have much of a conversation since you are sitting basically on top of each other. Went there today at about 2 and it was slammed (I should have known better). As always, there is no where to sit and then there is always someone sitting in a booth by themselves with their laptop for hours on end. Really people, if you are by yourself, then sit at one of the small tables for one person or in one of the chairs like I saw two or three other respectable humans doing. You are not cool and you are making families wait or set in different areas just because you want to take up a place for four or five for you and your laptop! The rest of us HATE YOU! To the management of Panera bread: Crackdown on these WIFI freeloaders and kick them to the curb if you are busy or you have families waiting to sit. Dont put this on the families, Gyms put restrictions on the use of their Treadmills and Eliptical Machines, do the same for your booths! Get these people in and out of the door! The food is always very, very good though! read more

It's good but it's pricey..10 dollars for a salad is kinda steep. The food is however is good.

Really bad service. My husband and I have been waiting for our food for over 20 minutes. The kid that works here asked if we got our food. We said NO. So he left to "check" on our order. 10 minutes pass and my husband went to ask what's taking so long and they're like oh your food was given to someone else. They told him we'll make it now. Still waiting...now 40 minutes. My husband is too nice to just go ask for a refund or else we would have left with our money. read more
