my family and i were very disappointed by this location... to start off, we walk in and see a CHILD around 8 or 9 years old working behind the counter with gloves, handling pastries. the women who took our order took a very long time. her long nails caused her to struggle keying in our order and made her make many typos. luckily, we sat down next to the pick up area so we heard our name called. our buzzer never went off. later on, we witnessed another lady come up to the pick up area and realized her food had been sitting there for a long period of time. her buzzer hadn't went off either, she had stated. my sisters sandwich had barely any food on it... a smidgen of chicken and barely any sauce. the avocado wasn't ripe so it was hard. it was very dry as well. my mom asked for the "pick 2" meal. but the lady who took our order charged us for 2 full meals. we saw five cups fall behind the register onto the floor. the cashier who took our order picked them up and put them back in the stack. for people to use... two meals and a kids meal came to $50. ridiculous. obviously was charged wrong. we usually love panera, but definitely will not be coming back to this location. read more

Went and picked up our order to find everything wrong once we got home. My sandwich was not the one I ordered and neither was my husbands. We then contacted Panera Bread online and they said within 24 hours we would hear back, because calling this location wasn't successful as no one would pick up. We never heard back. The manager is the one who placed our order at the cash register, and he also handed us our to go bags. While ordering we paid extra to have croissants on our sandwiches. After ordering and paying the manager comes over and tells us they have no croissants. After waiting 15 minutes with two kids, I didn't even want to fight it. They got the kids meals right thank heavens, but our sandwiches, and salads were so wrong, and so disgusting! Definitely will NEVER go back to this location. I buy the same two salads from you twice a month for my dad and I. I have it on my favorites and order the same salad; Fuji Apple Salad with romaine and extra apples. I get to my dads and there are NO apples and the salad has kale in it (he can't chew the kale.) I called four times no answer. I drive back to the shop, stand in the long dinner line and am finally told to stand at the end of the counter to speak to someone that never came. I finally took the bag to the pick up window with my receipt and showed them what I ordered and why I was bringing the salads back to be remade. The girl at the window looked at me like I was an imbecile and didn't offer to get a manager. She looked to another girl and asked to put a few apples in a bag. Oh no... my salads are now warm and have wilted tough to chew kale in them. I asked her to remake them. She snatched the bag and told the other girl to make two new salads. The first girl put the sack on the counter and said, "here." What?? No, sorry for the inconvenience sorry for having you drive back here... here let me get your dad a cookie for your trouble. Get home and they still only put a few apples on the salad. What is it Panera? You have a run on apple crisps this weekend? Must of run out of common decency and appreciation for your customers too. I'm very disappointed and hope this makes it to management's attention. They need to have someone on staff that can manage their public better than this. Well of course too good to be true... I've been using the Panera app and avoiding the line and able to pick it up and grab and go. This particular order, I ordered the Asian chicken salad and got the Greek traditional, the Asian chicken with extra chicken which I paid for and did not get, And half of the turkey bacon avocado sandwich without bacon, and of course I got the bacon... At the bottom of the receipt it encourages you to let them know if your order is accurate. The receipt read accurately, go figure. Tried to call and after Jessica made two attempts in answering the phone without understanding a word she said she put me into eternal hold. I like Panera food but I choose not to go there very often because it's so hard to find a place to sit after you place your order. I'll walk around and either see a half bussed table or tables where someone has camped out with their laptop while maybe just having a coffee. They look like they are going to be camped out there for hours. It's kind of a crapshoot after you order because you don't know if you will get a decent place to sit. That ruins the experience for me because soup or salad is not something I can just stand up and eat. read more

I am in medica sales and use Paneras across the southeast for catering almost every single week. I will NO longer use them due to the unprofessional catering manager in the northern Atlanta area, Wes Hendrix. Not only did I NOT receive a callback with assistance for a delivery order website mistake but he waited until the DAY OF my meeting to email me that he was too busy! It was IMPOSSIBLE to book anyone else this late and IF he would've called me back the day I called him I would've been able to find another company. Instead I had to PAY to get on an earlier standby flight so I could pick it up - which was out of my way - and deliver it MYSELF! My wife took me to eat at Panera for my first time on Saturday, July 11th about 1:00PM, for lunch. She was saying how really good the food was here and wanted me to try it. We both ordered the Steak & White Cheddar Panini. As I waited for the food, my wife went to get a table for the two of us. She couldn't find a clean table in the store. After getting a staff person to clean a table, our Panini's were ready. My wife's Panini looked good and the bread wasn't too hard. However, my Panini was a different story. The top of my Panini was hard as a rock and the bottom was soggy as milk bread. I took a bite out of my Panini and it dripped blood! The meat wasn't cooked or barely cooked! Unlike my wife's Panini, hers was well done. I took the top off of my sandwich and I couldn't believe how raw the meat looked and just how little amount of meat was on the sandwich. I had more caramelized onion then meat. I took my "Blood" Panini back to the pick up area and it took me about two minutes to get the young man attention. He asked me what was wrong and I picked up my sandwich and give it a little squeeze and the "bloody" juice just leaked out and made a puddled. I told him the sandwich was still alive and that I wanted another one. He looked at me for a second and said, "Is your sandwich undercooked?" His coworker jumped in and she said, "That they will make me another sandwich." She then told the male coworker to make a new sandwich. He acted like it was a waste of his time to do so. They have a sign at the order pickup that stated. "If the order is not right, we will make it right and give you a treat as well." They fixed the sandwich but no treat. Loss my appetite on the sandwich. At the price I paid for their sandwich! I could have bought a steak and cheese at Firehouse Subs and had ten times the meat! read more

I chose to try the Napa Chicken Salad and the broccoli and cheese soup. .. the portion of the sandwich was more like a quarter and truthfully I dont remember what it taste like. Now with the yummy stuff.. that soup was out of this world! It was hearty and the flavors had depth. I will definitely be back. I always come back.... I just can't give this specific location a good review due to takeout orders being consistently wrong. We're not talking one or two missing items. It's as if items from various orders get placed into a common bin and randomly get added to bags. There is no quality control between the register and the team actually preparing the order, even though each item is clearly listed on the register receipt. This happened consistently in 2018/2019 to the point where we stopped going there for a year. The pattern was always the same. Wrong order, call for an hour until you reach a manager, and they apologize and maybe credit your card back for the difference. I'm writing this review as we went back after a year hoping things got better, and the first order we picked up: 2 items correct, 3 completely missing, 3 things not even on the ticket/someone else's food. The difference between a year ago and now is that no one answers the phone. If you like Panera food and plan on visiting the West Cobb store, be sure to check your order before leaving the store. read more

One of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I have had in a long time. I decided to try their "new Modern Caprese" sandwiches. If this is modern, I vote to go back to the old fashioned. I expected a Caprese sandwich to have fresh tomato and mozzarella--neither one were present. Instead there were tasteless roasted red blobs and more bitter arugula than should ever be on a sandwich. The salad part of the "you pick two" tasted as if the greens had been washed in some type of cleaner and not rinsed. The sweet tea tasted as if had come from a bottle instead of brewed on site. Then to top it all off the tables are so sticky the paper napkins nearly adhered to the table top. Needless to say, I won't be back anytime soon. read more

I made my 1st trip here yesterday, and loved that it all looked nice and clean, and smelled yummy. I hadn't eaten that day, and suddenly felt faint right after ordering my lunch. At the mere mention of my condition, several of their staff and the manager jumped into action, and came to my rescue before I even got my lunch order! They brought me a cool, damp cloth, bottled ice water, a big piece of fresh bread, and even a fruit cup! I took a little while to come around, but because of their "heroic" efforts to help me, I soon did, and was able to eat the scrumptious sandwich I'd ordered. All of them came to check on me several times while I was there. I can't thank all of them enough for helping me, and will never forget their kindness. They have great food ~ and a great group of people working there. I'll be returning here without a doubt. I highly recommend them and their food. read more

Swiss cheese on an Italian Sub?? Well it worked, and it was delicious! This place is extremely expensive for what you get. Spent almost $100 for party of 5 lunch with kids! The line can get long at times, but it goes pretty quick. My husband and I went to this panera on Saturday, for dinner. It was NOT busy at the time we went in. We were the only ones in line, our order was taken quickly. We did however wait about 20 mins to get our order. For 2 sandwiches, a bread bowl, and a mac and cheese. Seeing we were the only ones in line it shouldn't have taken that long to get our food. When we finally did get our food, the mac and cheese was not creamy like it normally is, and I didn't have any lettuce on my sandwich. So, I went to the counter where you pick your food up and there were cockroaches on the counter. We go to this panera alot and that was the first time I have ever seen that in there. I told the manager that there were roaches on the counter and she sent someone else out to get them, but by the time she got out there the roaches were already gone. I'm giving at least 2 stars because of the promptness to our order being taken. I highly doubt we will return unless they clean the coaches out!! read more

First, the positives: 1. The recent remodel looks great. 2. I love the new ordering kiosks. No waiting in the horrendously long lines that this location always seems to have. Plus, being able to see a picture of each item on the entire menu made ordering a lot easier for me. 3. This location has been very dirty in the past before the remodel, but the tables looked very clean this time. I eventually came to realize this was due to two very attentive busboys. Now, the negatives: 1. I ordered an iced coffee with my meal. Looked for the self-serve iced coffee after submitting my order, but couldn't find it. Eventually went up to the counter after having to wait in the line after all to ask the cashier where to find the iced coffee as it was nowhere in sight. She was friendly-ish (not rude, I think just overwhelmed) and said it was in the dispenser right across from us. After I told her I had tried that one and it was just hot water for tea, she said she would go change that our for iced coffee. 2. In the meantime, my sister had ordered a meal that included chips. She realized that they had forgotten her chips. No big deal, she just went up to where you pick up your food and let them know that she didn't have her chips and the man putting together the orders threw a bag of chips across the counter at her. 3. I had ordered a meal that included half of a chicken salad sandwich. Unfortunately most of the sandwich half was a lot (it was over an inch thick layer) of lettuce with a little bit of chicken salad which seemed to be missing most of the main ingredient- the chicken! There were three itty bitty pieces of chicken in the chicken salad. Very disappointing to have spent over $10 for this meal. Kudos to the busboys though for doing a fabulous job. read more

I love Panera bread so much I buy from them 4 times a month for my big family. But, lately I don't know what is going on if they are going at of business or if it the employees it does feel and look the same. The quality of food is not the same. The manager and the workers are rude. They mess up your order call them ask you to comeback thinking they going to fix the problem they ask you to pay for the order again. After going back and forth he asked me to pay for one of the salad. Picked up my order my daughter asked to check to make sure everything is right. I told her there is no way they can mess up again. Got home getting ready to have dinner with my family. I see that they messed up again. This time the forgot one of my full panini sandwich. I was so frustrated I told my family we are done with Panera. I used to think the one on Dallas Highway was good. I would pass so many on my way and would wait to get by my house to go to that one. This is the closest Panera to me until the one on East West Conn. opens, and I've been going to this one for a couple years now. I've had a couple issues where food that I paid extra for in the app or where I removed something (i.e. lettuce and replaced it with spinach because I don't like lettuce) in the mobile order, I'll leave and will find out when I arrive home that it wasn't done. So now, I check everything before leaving the restaurant. Today, I dropped by for the first time in a couple months and got a cup of soup and half a sandwich. When I walked in, there was no line and they weren't busy at all, and my food was supposed to be ready by 5:10. I had walked in at 5:09, and sat down to wait for it to finish up. When it was finally put out, it was 5:22. 12 minutes longer than it should have been (I placed the order 20 minutes in advance through the app, and scheduled it to be ready by 5:10). I don't think I'll be coming back, at least not if I'm very hungry and don't want to wait and extra 10-15 minutes. read more

The staff is either extremely unknowledgeable about the food they sell or thought it would be fun to send a patron to the hospital due to food allergies. I ordered a caramel latte after specifically being told the caramel syrup was dairy free (dairy free caramel syrup is available at Starbucks by the way). As I watched the young lady prepare the drink I again asked her to please make sure the syrup was dairy free. She politely said sure and asked another person behind the counter while she picked up a binder I'm assuming held a list of ingredients for the food they sell. After receiving confirmation from her co-worker the syrup was dairy free, she again assured me it was dairy free. I still didn't feel 100% comfortable with that answer (she never opened the binder to check the list of ingredients) so I decided not to risk drinking the beverage until I got home to look at the ingredient list online. Well thank God I waited... the list clearly states milk! I asked a total of 3 times before I left the restaurant if the the syrup contained dairy! I would have been on the way to the hospital if I had just trusted the people who work there! If you have an allergy to any food items, stay away from this location unless you have a list of ingredients prior to ordering. read more
