I went with my wife and my son. I ordered steak and white cheese panini. My wife got soup and salad. My son macaroni and cheese. My wife enjoyed her soup. I on the other hand was left with a panini that did not look appetizing at all. The bread was hard as a cardboard and I am hoping there was wasabi in the sauce because it tasted like spoiled food. On the second half I chewed on steak and it tasted like uncooked meat and that was the end of panini for me. The restaurant was not crowded. However neither the staff was friendly nor the food was good. If you have to go, I'd recommend soup and salad. read more

I've had better at other locations. The frontina grilled cheese was mediocre at best. It was supposed to be grilled but was mushy with grill marks... Too much cheese (the cheese was the best part) would have been so much better with thicker bread. The Mac and cheese was fairly decent. The sauce wasn't stringy or clumpy; it was smooth with a good depth of flavor. However it could have used something more... I ordered via "Rapid Pick Up." Stated that my order would be ready by 12:05pm. When I arrived there was a rush to be expected at that time. I got my order by 12:20. The website should be adjusted with more accurate times. There were a lot of people waiting. All seemed like they were in the same situation as I. When I got back to work I checked my Pick 2. I got the French onion soup. I almost looked up if it was supposed to come with cheese because there was none on top. I scooped a little and found barely any. That is one of the things I like most about that soup. There were a ton of onions. I also go the steak and white cheddar. There was 1 thin slice of steak and some parts of my sandwich no meat. Worst Panera experience ever. We were greeted by an unfriendly, unwelcoming employee who was changing the trash. She went from her hands in the garbage, to taking our order to handing me a pastry. The bread bowl was extremely stale and our bowls of mac and cheese were half the size they normally are. I am so in love with Panera but this location always seems to take FOREVER. I work full time and like to come over my lunch hour. Whenever I come it'll take anywhere from 20-25 mins to get my order (EVEN WHEN ITS TAKEOUT). In my opinion, that's unacceptable. They made me late for work this afternoon with a takeout order. I love the vast choices they have at Panera! There salads are delicious and I strongly recommend the Thai Chicken. If you are torn you can always do a choose two and select a soup, salad or half sandwich to comprise lunch. The atmosphere isn't exact upscale but it is comfortable and has free wifi- perfect for a working lunch. P.S. One of the best places to meet up with some friends or family before a movie or after a day of shopping or just anytime. They have an atrium you can sit in with plenty of natural light as well as power for laptops. Saturday's and Sunday's can be extremely busy as can weekday lunch time so get in early if you can. This Panera may look small in the outside but even during the busiest if lunch hours you can find somewhere to sit inside. The service is adequate. I scheduled a business meeting here, and while the atrium is great for that and you think it will be a great setup for a business meeting style lunch, you can't access the interenet. By the time I spent 30 minutes trying to connect, it finally connected to a website only to then tell me I had exceeded the alloted time to be on the Internet between 12-2. I understand time restrictions during busy hours, but come on..if it takes that long for your Internet process to connect then that time restriction just sucks. I had a Mediterranean Quinoa Bowl with chicken at this location. I've had the same item at other Panera stores as well. At this store in Lone Tree it should have been called Arugula Bowl with a hint of chicken. I guess they are trying to raise their profit margins at this store because even the amount of quinoa, tomatoes, cucumber and olives was sparse by comparison. The only thing that was plentiful was the piece of baguette. This dish was definitely not worth half the price they charge especially when you compare it to other locations. Sadly, the steak and white cheddar has gone south. The steak is now mostly gristle and stringy. This has happened two times out of two visits. Visits to the Panera Bread in Highlands Ranch has resulted in the same non-eatable steak. I'm guessing the quality of the steak dropped to keep the cost the same. Constantly out of ingredients. I eat here almost every day, so I would say service is only about 75% accurate. That means, about 1 in 4 times there is something wrong with my order, consistently. I've had my rapid pick order stolen about 2 or 3 times. There's also constantly things missing or messed up the during the bagging. One time I asked for sauce on the side and when I looked in my bag the sauce was all over the bottom of the bag, as well as on all the other food items in the bag. Food quality is usually pretty good, although the roast beef has been pretty grisly at times. Stick with chicken noodle soup and you'll probably be okay. read more

Panera is traditionally a very good bakery and sandwich shop. I love panera, but this particular location seems to be lacking. I went in to purchase some sourdough bread around 10 AM on a Sunday morning (needed some carbs for a long hike), and I saw that they had none. I asked them if they were planning on making any and they said that they were not and they were only selling what they had on the shelves (which consisted of 1 loaf of country and maybe 2 loaves of white). I am disappointed that a bakery did not plan on making any more loaves of a very popular bread, especially so early in the day. read more

This is the closest Panera to my work, so its the reason I keep going back, but they are terrible with checking your order. My last five orders have been missing something. Whether it's the salad dressing, chicken, or this last time they forgot the hard boiled egg in my Cobb salad. I realize they are busy at lunch but take an extra moment and check your order. If you order Rapid Pick up check your order before you leave. We eat there often and almost every time we pick up our order at least one thing is missing, drinks, sandwiches you name it they forget it. Our last order was three cups of soup and two sandwiches. When we got the bag home no sandwiches. I returned to the store hoping my husband just missed a bag, but no they forgot to make two of the five items we ordered. There were however about twenty pieces of baguette. The whole idea of Rapid Pickup is convenience and it's not very convenient to have to drive there twice and wait for them to make the food they forgot the first time. read more

I ordered 15 box lunches for a business/training event. I ordered them the day before with an 1145am delivery time. I was told there was a 15 minute window in which they would arrive. At 1130am I received a phone call saying they were "busy" and it would be 1230 for delivery. I waited till 1230 and no delivery arrived. I called back the number the the first phone call came from, and found it was not the store itself, but a catering delivery center nearby. I asked how far out the delivery was, and was told they had not even started making the order because they had 24 other orders. When I pressed them I was told they could possibly deliver it by 1:15pm. I canceled the order because lunch no longer fit Into our tight schedule that included interaction with other organizations. I will not count on them for any future catering needs. I found them indifferent, and incompetent. People, this was not a complicated order by any stretch. Long wait to place order; had to correct when order wasn't exactly right; Autumn Squash soup tasted kind of funny or different and was the consistency of pudding or custard - it should've been thinner base. Felt sick by time I was ready to leave (25-30 minutes) and felt I should just sit and hope to feel better, so I did for about 10 minutes. Instead of feeling better I was feeling downright nauseous and didn't know if I could make it home in time (I only live 5 mins. away). I really love Panera. Especially their "secret menu" because it's packed with healthy options. I do have one complaint tho, I regularly order the power egg white bowl with roasted turkey and about 50% of the time it is made incorrectly. It's delicious if it's made right and served warm but today when I sent it back because it was served cold I was told that it is always served cold... Which is incorrect. It seemed like I was a bother asking it to be made correctly. Be forewarned, the food is good but at this location it will regularly be made wrong. Boo read more

As much as I love the food and the atrium seating of this location, I come here to study and get some work done and the internet BLOWS 75% of the time. There were only a handful of people here this morning, two of which were on a computer using the internet like myself, and it takes an eternity to load any webpage. The past couple of times that I have visited this location I could not find a clean table, and I don't come during busy hours (I've learned my lesson!). This location has definitely lost some of its appeal over the past year, maybe there's new management or something that has resulted in this negative change. read more
