I think that sometimes Panera gets a bad rap for messing up orders but I really enjoy their salads. I go to Panera generally 1 to 2 times a week for their apple / pecan / blue cheese salad yumminess. Although they often have long lines I try to time it right before or after the rush and it isn't to bad. Worst experience ever!! Ordered online for Rapid Pick Up. I waited for my order for 20 minutes after arriving. I saw my order complete waiting near the delivery area. Once I was able to grab a Panera workers attention, they believed they misplaced my order. They found it in the delivery bag. People that arrived after me and ordered in person received their food well before me... so much for rapid. Since my food sat there for so long, when I got home and opened my sandwich, it was completely soggy and disgusting. See photo. At Lone Tree location, however a staff training issue may involve the clerk, when asked if there was even one Gluten free option for a gluten sensitive person in our group, not rudely blurting out "NO! On 4/18/2020 I came here for lunch. Paid $30.00 the cashier had no gloves or a mask on. After we paid we heard two men laughing and talking while making orders with no mask on. I was in Lone Tree, CO for work for a week in which I visited this Panera Bread location most days. Each visit was as pleasant as the first. Erik made conversation the first day and remembered my name each sequential day that I visited. He did an excellent job! Panera offers curb side pick up!! Stoked about that. I was craving a grilled cheese sandwich today (which is very unusual) and I decided to try out Paneras new chipotle mayo grilled cheese with Gouda. A little disappointed to be honest. There was no Gouda on the sandwich, only American cheese and the cheese wasn't really melted at all. So pretty underwhelming if you ask me. The chipotle ranch was yummy though! So the manager Casey... how did she manage to get this job or keep it? It is very evident she is not running the location well, like AT ALL. I'm regular here so I feel my review is pretty valid. First and foremost, the turnover is extremely high, which is a good indication of poor management. I've been in there and personally witnessed employees being stretched thin due to low staff, and I've seen customers approach Casey for help when she isn't doing anything, and she has told these customers That someone else will help them and then walk off. A good manager should get in and help her poor, understaffed employees. During busy hours, she is nowhere to be seen. The location is not well kept. The few times that she has been present, she doesn't seem to be contributing. She is always just standing there talking. This location has gone downhill ever since she took over. Corporate needs to get involved because she is doing a terrible job. Until then, I'll be dining at a different location. read more

DO NOT ORDER FOR DELIVERY - they use door dash and don't stand behind deliveries. My salad was delivered to the wrong office on Friday and Panera said have to call Door Dash in California even thought Panera got my money! In the past, I received a salad with brown romaine, emailed photos and no response. I also got a chicken ceasar with no chicken but they did give me a credit for that. I love me some Panera Bread but my experience yesterday wasn't so great. I stopped in around 6:30 pm to pick up some dinner for my family. We ordered the typical soup and salad orders - nothing too complicated but the person waiting on us seemed to be so inconvenienced by the fact that I was there that I finally had to ask if they were about to close. I figured that maybe the reason she let out a sigh and looked towards the clock after every item I selected was due to the fact they had cleaned up and were about to check out for the night. She said that they were still open for a bit so I guess that just means she's a mix of lazy and rude. The name of the restaurant makes you think that Panera is a bakery. While it is a bakery, I don't know anyone who goes to a Panera to buy loaves of bread or fresh pastries. I am sure it can be done, but to me the bakery section appears ornamental and usually abandoned. The cafe is the big draw, that is where the money is at. The food provided by Panera is so good. Not great food, but food that is simple, and good. It is the kind of food that you think you should be able to make for yourself, but just can't quite get right. You eat it and your are.... satisfied. That being said, what kind of food can you get there? Soups, salads, and sandwiches. Like I said before, simple. While I have had sandwiches in the past (all very good), the chicken noodle soup (with baguette) holds the key to my heart right now. It is just noodles, a few sliced carrots, chicken chunks, and broth, but it tastes exactly like what chicken soup should taste like and warms you up from the inside like a perfect mug of hot cocoa. The baguette is the perfect complement to the soup, very tasty when soaked in the broth. Lunch time is a busy time for this store and the tables go fast. Come early or be prepared to eat your lunch in your car. read more

It does come with cornbread but the 4 crouton sized pieces of cornbread I got came in a portion bag labeled Friday. Today is Monday. So, overpriced and stale. Loss of a star due to the fact that as I waited for my half veggie half watermelon salad to be prepared to go, I was quite disappointed to find that when I got home it was a half of a turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich! I went back The next day and explained what happened and instead of addressing the issue of the mixed up order from the day before, I was offered a weak apology but got the right meal this time. Watermelon salad is absolutely delicious although the first night I ordered it it came with the dressing on it and the second night it came with the dressing on the side. This place is a little inconsistent but the food is very tasty and it's super convenient and healthy. Not so healthy is the delicious frozen lemonade! The location for this restaurant is great, with a very nice, open feel, and seating for indoor and outdoor available. The menu is somewhat confusing, since you can get sandwiches with soup, but only half of each, or you can get an apple instead of soup, but they don't have it terribly well laid-out on the sign. Still, easy enough to figure out when you ask, and the sandwiches and soups are a filling option for lunch. The customer service didn't particularly impress me. The man who took our order was nice enough, but didn't really seem to care to explain the menu or options, and wasn't terribly attentive or helpful. Overall, I didn't mind the experience. The food was good, but the setting was better, and the service was sub-par. Would go only only for the option to sit outside, because that was quite enjoyable. read more

Don't come to this Panera often but have stopped by a few times as a convince of the mall ! My friend and I dropped by for an early lunch and was greeted as upon entering . Our meals were not terribly expensive for the quality of food . The lemonade is amazing ! And free refills ! Our food was very quickly out and we sat ourselves, The restaurant was not very busy. I got the chicken avocado Cobb with no cheese, bacon, or eggs. It was delicious ! Hit or miss on this location. Minimal outlets, unless you go to the 'atrium' which is a shared space with the rest of the businesses in the building. Service can be finicky - the people here are either SUPER nice or depressing. It was my mistake that I ordered pick up instead of delivery. So I called them to make that change and told them I'm more than happy to pay the difference on my card. I LOVE Panera. But this Panera is not very good. My salad had wilted and brown lettuce in it. The soda dispenser appeared to have mold growing up in the ice dispenser part, and the soda parts looked as though they hadn't been washed. The workers were young, and seemed more interested in talking to each other (and hitting on one another) rather then take my order. I get it, I was that age too. But at least take a pause to help the customer! It was extremely uncomfortable. There was one worker who was actually working, but he was trying to clean shop to get ready to close. I went with my wife and my son. I ordered steak and white cheese panini. My wife got soup and salad. My son macaroni and cheese. My wife enjoyed her soup. I on the other hand was left with a panini that did not look appetizing at all. The bread was hard as a cardboard and I am hoping there was wasabi in the sauce because it tasted like spoiled food. On the second half I chewed on steak and it tasted like uncooked meat and that was the end of panini for me. The restaurant was not crowded.
