I walked in there because I had an interview at 2:00pm, I've asked the cashier that I had an interview and she said she was new also, she asked another co-worker where were the application forms, she found it and she gave me the application job form, I've asked if they had a pen, but she looked like she didn't know where the pens were so then she told me that she was going to tell somebody to give me a pen so I can fill out my form. 20 minutes go by I was sitting down filling the application out while people were just staring at me like I was doing something wrong, mind you I've applied online for this role and schedule one week prior, after that I gave my form to the cashier she said that she'll give it to the manager and speak with me within 10 minutes, two minutes go by and she came infront of me with a smile with her pink blonde hair hairstyle god she looked absolutely dumb, looked like she got slimed with her two faced envious look. She said that she wasn't going to do the interview which I had HOPES for and then proceeded to decline my application right there on the spot, it's really embarrassing how you didn't contacted beforehand and told me that she was sorry to waste me time, that manager is an unbelievable person, telling me my application wasn't "enough" and what they weren't "looking for" like what? If you're not going to hire somebody then why waste their time? It's like you can't even let a male apply here, made me uncomfortable thank god I got another offer from another JOB somewhere else. So this Panera location is almost always spot on... And if it's not, they always go out of their way to make it right. Most commonly, they are inconsistent about the portions of avocado, which for the price you pay for the sandwiches and salad, you should get more than one or two slices, in my opinion. Sometimes they just forget to put the avocado on there completely... Weird thing to be picky about, but it's my favorite part of the Greek goddess salad as well as the turkey and avocado sandwich. This location is always clean and inviting, and the bathrooms are well maintained, as well as the rest of the interior. Wait is never very long and I find the easiest way to go is to order ahead and then pick up from the kiosk. They have great customer service and they are quick and consistent... Only four out of five stars because each time I go there's always one thing that's off with the order whether it's a missing ingredient or just the wrong item altogether. They always make it right which is great, but I always have to make sure that I budgeted an extra time to double check my order. We will keep coming back because we love Panera and the chicken and wild rice soup is one of my favorite things. read more

The last 2 online orders i ordered the strawberry basil fresca , the last 2 orders have not come with basil and the menu did not state the item was out of stock both times, so i called to let the cafe know for the second time my order was missing ingredients, the worker who answered the phone acted like i was making a ridiculous complaint and stated sometimes they just don't have Basil. I said i understand that can happen , but it was not stated the ingredient was out of stock and that I WOULD NOT have ordered the beverage had i known. The rep then said in a snarky what do you want me to do , do you want to speak to the manager , and at that point i absolutely did. She then comes on the line and states the manager is conveniently busy , asks me to repeat my name and number several times , each time laughing and acting as if she cannot understand , i told her i did not like her tone or attitude and she proceeded to be combative and argumentative. Terrible. The vibes were off the minute I walked into the restaurant. I was there for an interview, and the employees looked at me like they couldn't believe I was applying to work there. They made me fill out an application even though I had already applied online, which told me the manager and staff hadn't even bother to read my résumé. After I filled out the application, they told me they couldn't continue the interview. This was at 7:00 AM -- I woke up early, got ready, and went there just for them to waste my time. They could have easily texted or called me beforehand if they had actually read my online application. Overall, the employees made the whole environment uncomfortable. We love Panera because we can always get something healthy and delicious! We especially love their Green Goddess Chicken Cobb salad and chicken noodle soup. When I was on Weight Watchers, that large salad WITH dressing was only four points (out of a total of 23 points for the day.). The chicken noodle soup was only one point! Watch out for the baguette that comes with it, though. That's another four points without butter. My favorite sandwich is the Chicken Avo Melt. Yum! I belong to their Sip Club for about $12 per month, which gets me a free drink every day and other discounts. It's worth it if you go once a week at least. I always order ahead on their app, and the food is always ready when I arrive. It's also a great place to sit and sip some coffee if you want, and there is usually a fireplace with easy chairs nearby. Perfect! read more

Love, love, love the salads at Panera! My favorites are their seasonal options: Fuji Apple or the Strawberry Poppyseed but I think I've tried them all over the years. The Greek Salad is excellent too, as is Caesar, but I'm not necessarily a Caesar Salad fan when there's sweeter options. I love the portion sizes, the flavors, and the ambiance at this location as it's generally clean and staff are friendly. Sometimes it's fun to do a 1/2-salad, 1/2 soup or 1/2 sandwich combo, but the Fuji Apple AND the Strawberry Poppyseed are excellent without dressing, as it's THAT flavorful!! We have gone a couple times recently for lunch/dinner options and were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our food. I had the new spicy chicken and it's honestly bomb. I decided to go with the bacon egg and cheese on croissant cause that's right up my alley. 2/10 it was bland, plastic like texture probably from the cheese, and flat croissant that was lukewarm at best. 100% would never order it again. I also went with an orange scone and the entire center was raw. I have gotten a couple lately and they've all been soooo good. Ordered a green goddess chicken cob salad with the dressing on the side and an apple. Not only did I receive bread as a side but the salad was mixed with the sauce and they forgot to include the chicken. We were in the area and hungry for dinner so we stopped here rather than wait to get home. We both had the Turkey BLT which was fine, though oddly constructed with chunks, not slices of turkey. Bring a fork to the table for this sandwich because a third or so of those chunks tumble down onto the plate. Aside from the mess, it was good though Panera is usually even better. I wanted a mocha, which they did not offer but they had a "chocolate latte" which the clerk agreed sounded like the same thing. It looked impressive but the chocolate turned out to be a drizzle on top and a pool of undrinkable chocolate soup on the bottom. Get a spoon for this not-mocha and stir it up first. Also, there seemed to be more foam than milk, so...doesn't that make it a different type of espresso drink? I wouldn't have guessed I'd need almost a full set of silverware for a sandwich and a mocha. A bright spot was clerk "Marissa" who was friendly and cheerful. No compaints about the service in general. The place was oddly almost empty for a Thursday dinnertime; we were there around 6:00-6:30. Looking at the other reviews, I can see why. I had never been so disappointed with ordering Panera Bread. I love the location out here in Seattle near home. We were on the road coming back from spending the weekend in Oregon. My boyfriend and I were so hungry and decided to get Panera bread since it was late and we weren't going to make it to the one by our home. We map quested ourselves to this location. I was so excited to eat try their new salad. I'm a fan of their salads over all, especially their seasonal one during the summer. I didn't notice until we got home and had already driven an hr that my salad and fruit looked like this. The container felt sticky and gross from the outside and it didn't even have any dressing in it. Then when I open it, I see this huge piece of hard old looking cabbage just tossed in there. I was starving and so tired that I was going to attempt to eat it and just toss the cabbage piece but when I took a closer look I noticed a small cream type piece that looks like mushroom or something. What ever it was, it looks like it has some type of mold growing. Completely bothered by this experience. The fruit container looked like someone ate from it. I don't mind stopping at this location when I am out and about. My most recent visit was okay.. my only complaints are that there were a few dirty tables. No greeting upon entering- it's like they hope you choose to order at the kiosk. The bathroom was disgusting with wet floor and tissue on the ground.. an overall lack of customer service.. I ordered broccoli cheddar soup, and it seemed like they didn't even fill my bowel... they had my "bowl" of soup in a bowl that seemed too big... so it looked like I only had a little spoonful of soup.... This place was terribly disorganized and so understaffed! Granted I know the labor shortage can be crippling for businesses especially chains like these when they normally are good at being prompt but I felt this was ridiculous. The cashier must have been new because it was struggle for her to get the coffee drinks and breakfast sandwiches entered into the computer register to get the order going. We were dining in and took a very long time for the food to arrive but it wasn't just us. Even "to go" orders had to wait a long time for their orders to be ready. Steve and I didn't lose our temper with any of the staff because we were aware of the situation. The food and coffee drinks are still pretty good so that is a plus. I don't know if all Panera locations are going through the long wait times but my advice is if you want to place an order with this location at least do it online or if there is a delivery option go with that. You can at least cut down on the wait time as you drive to the restaurant or do other tasks while you wait for the food to be delivered. read more

I spoke to a manager that said someone would call me the next day. No one called. One of my guests, found a hair in the salad. I also purchased a pastry. When I asked my son if he would eat it, his response was, "There were flies all over the pastries in the Panera case when I picked up the order, so no thanks." I called Panera again two days later, & talked to the manager. She said she would partially refund my order, & I said I would like the entire order refunded. She said this was not possible & gave me a voucher for $35 (my total was $80). I have no plans to use the voucher. This location is convenient for us and when we have visited customer service has always been nice when placing an order. The food comes out in a timely manner and has always been what we expect it to be. The only complaint is how expensive Panera Bread is becoming. It costs almost $50 to feed three people here now. This location isn't too bad for it's convenience being in the Lakewood Town Center. I tend to order from the self service kiosks but this location had all of theirs broken except for one. Thus get ready for some face to face interaction or waiting in line. I got a two for two with a fuji apple salad and arugula steak sandwich. The portions were pretty generous and everything came out correctly. There was a young man who cleared off our table and we only waited a few minutes for our meal. A few things I would say about this location however is theres a ton of homeless people coming in and out of the restaurant making commotion. During our lunch, a couple homeless men complained about being able to get free drinks and a woman popped a squat in the bathroom trying to technically bathe herself in the sink. read more

I recently went to Panera in Lakewood got their BBQ chicken melt. Got home cold nasty so I emailed corporate. They got back to me giving me 50 percent off next visit.
