This is the worst Panera location I have ever been to. Unfortunately it is the closest one to my house. It is 7pm - they close at 9pm. They are out of bread. How is this possible?! It is literally in the name. No cookies. No bagels. No one to take your order - forced to use the kiosk and THEN told the wait is 20 minutes. I'm sitting here watching them and they are busy chatting instead of working There aren't that many people in here and the drive through is closed. This NOT the first time I've been here and experienced these problems. This IS my last trip to this location. read more

Corporate needs to take the loss and close this Panera. Just permanently close. The hours are sporadic and completely unpredictable, the food has take a steep nose dive in the last two years and the service and waits are embarrassing for how few customers still stick around. What a waste of space. read more

service was awful they took 20 minutes to finally bring my food from the drive thru it was at 8 pm but still they had me waiting forever.

This location is good, I just didn't like that they didn't have everything available on their large board menu, but I can see how that would be good for some because it is less confusing but I'm used to seeing certain items I guess. They do have a paper menu that has all of their items, just need to remember to pick that up and look at it. I would return to this location, no problemo read more

2 days in a row, I waited about 25 mins for iced coffee!!!! The incompetence level of this store is very high!!!!!

Ordered on Mother's Day..they were out of everything by 1:00. They no longer carry the best sandwich frontega chicken. The sandwich I ordered was mostly bread and no meat. I was very disappointed and will not return! read more

This must be the nastiest Panera I've ever been to. I was there yesterday and ordered take out. Well, at 5:00 pm they didn't have bread bowl for the soup. I ordered a whole fresh French Baguette and it was as hard as rock. When I complained I was told it was made at 9:00 am. No bread and old hard bread in a "Panera" - literally bread bakery? The half Cuban panini was not properly toasted and the chili was cold. Are the employees too busy to make fresh bread on a Saturday? Come on guys don't lower your standards. I don't think I'll return here. Sorry guys but your food needs to improve. read more

I stopped and to have lunch at Panera and the person taking the order was very nice but they said it would be over a 30 minute wait and the restaurant was about half full. She was embarrassed because she knew that should not have been the case, I left, went someplace else, and ate in less than 30 minutes. They clearly have a management problem. read more

Good food, friendly staff. The atmosphere is cozy until about lunch hour, which is understandable I guess. I came in for an early lunch and to get some work done on my computer, unfortunately I had to leave soon as I finished my meal as it was very noisy and crowded. I noticed more and more people arriving to dine in, and had me thinking "where are all these people going to sit?!" If possible an expansion would be ideal. read more

Never order a drink for delivery, they don't make it and your DoorDasher will never check the order

To is Wednesday and I do believe the manager has lost it. He started yelling at people when they asked where their orders were. Then he goes back to the kitchen and deletes all the orders on the screen. I asked someone else where is my order and he said there is nothing on the screens. Can a manager do that? read more

Slow af. Ordered my food 10 minutes before I came, then still waited 45 minutes in lobby. F Ing terrible

I ordered two bagels toasted and two not toasted. They were all toasted when I received them. That's fine, but they were very dark and as someone who doesn't like toasted bagels, I wasn't exactly happy. However, that is a minor mistake. I was mostly unhappy about the $5 drinks I ordered. They were tiny and the pictures showed a large drink. There was no size option on the kiosk. I assumed I would be receiving the size in the picture but I did not. I could get the same drink at Starbucks for less money and the one at panera tastes like nail polish. Not to mention we waited almost 10 minutes for 4 bagels and 2 drinks. Not a super long wait but still more than I've had at other paneras for more food. read more

Pros: they deliver to my work Cons: this is consistently how they make sandwiches If you're going to order from the Kenosha Panera my best advice is to make sure you're not hungry. The half sandwiches are constantly under made, they'll typically forget a side or drink and you'll pay way more than it's worth. But.... they deliver! read more

Drive thru review only: This Panera is a great stop! It's easy and convenient to get in and out of from busy highways. Although at lunch time the line is super backed up for drive thru, they get you through fast. The staff are always patient and kind. My order is ALWAYS right. Definitely a great spot for a quick lunch run! read more

Bad experience with Panera Bread here in Kenosha. Had ordered a delivery of coffee and bagels for a baby shower to be delivered. (on the Panera app) Email from Panera said it will be there at 10:30. Start calling at 11, phone rings and rings until it just disconnected. Finally drive over to the store, manager says sorry busy and it's Door dash that delivers for them not her fault. Poor service all around from them. Will not place a catering order with them again. read more

When you pay $8 for a Mac and cheese you should at least get a full bowl. Looks like they took the small and dumped it in a large bowl. Delicious yes, but disappointed. read more

Food is good. But over rated. If you like unseasoned food and only enjoy the company of entitled karens, harassing the employees until they get a meal comped or a free pastry. I hate people. read more

What a nice Panera!! This place must be newly renovated, and boy it is nice. I would say that the menu that's posted above the registers is much more difficult to figure out if someone is new to Panera's menu. They have a ton of card stock menus printed out in stands right by the doors, which allow you to see what's all in each item. We were in there around 12:15pm on a Saturday and it was really busy. We circled around the place trying to find a spot for three and had no luck. We found ourselves seated at a high table with barstools in a high traffic area that's right next to where all the food comes out. It wasn't super ideal, and luckily right after that we were able to move to a different table when a larger group left. Overall, the food was good as usual. Panera doesn't fail to disappoint, and as a former Panera employee I guess I'm a bit biased :) read more

There were 6 people waiting in line, the cashier walked away and the other two people behind the counter looked like deer in headlights (one was a manager). All 6 people walked out without ordering. We all waited, and no one was helping us. Odd. I went to this Panera about a month ago and ordered soup in a bread bowl. The cashier told me they were out of bread bowls. I pointed to the bread rack behind her head, which had bread bowls on it "aren't those bread bowls?" She told me they were for sale not for soup. If I paid for the soup in a bowl wouldn't it be the same thing? She was very confused, so I said never mind, and ordered something else. This has got to be the worst Panera there is. read more

In town for a wedding. Ordered a sandwich and a coffee. Delivery folks showed up with the sandwich hut no coffee. After asking if she had the coffee, I received the response, "oh crap, you're going to have to call the store and they'll send out another delivery person when it's ready". Wouldn't recommend this establishment for lack of attention to detail and lack of customer service. read more

This Panera location has been slipping for quite some time now. It's a total toss up every day as to weather or not there will be Drive Thru service or curb side pick up available and if there is, things will progress at a snails speed. I understand there are staffing issues, supply chain shortages and other challenges these days in age but these issues combined with Panera's increasingly shrinking portions and price hikes are convincing me to look for breakfast or lunch elsewhere. The last time we ordered it took almost 30 minutes for a choose two and an additional cup of soup. Employees were sluggishly pacing about behind the counter, no Ipads for ordering where in service and things overall seemed unkept and chaotic. The person in front of me ordered one cookie and they were pushed aside to wait where they ended up having to ask again for it after nearly ten minutes. Oh but don't forget to tip the staff after placing your order and before actually receiving your food. read more

So I can only speak to my interaction about 20-30 mins ago. Stopped into the Panera in Pleasant Prairie, and asked to have the green goddess salad made gluten free. Basically a woman came on the drive thru speaker and said they had no way to know what's gluten free. I said can you give me the basics of the salad, no chicken and swap out the dressing for a couple of slices of lemon. They don't have lemons I was told. So I have not had this experience at the other local Panera's by me in the chicagoland area, nor in my travels. Have normally been in able to rely on this company. Maybe some training is needed. read more

The meal was luke warm (probably frozen beforehand) the portions were barely enough to feed a 2 year old, and it cost 10+ dollars a plate. I won't be coming back. read more

Don't waste your time driving here if you want drive-thru. Its closed now all the time. The drive thru was so helpful throughout the pandemic and just not having to get out of ur car after working a long day to pick up dinner. Hope it opens again soon. read more

After constantly watching their TV add for the new salad that includes chicken, avocado and green goddess dressing. So I went to the drive through and asked for that salad. They advised me that they did not have any avocado. This was a Monday at the lunch hour! I ended up getting something else but was very disappointed. Every time I see the commercial of that new salad it makes me angry. What is wrong with these managers that they don't order the right amounts of ingredients? Doesn't make me want to eat there. Many other choices in the area. read more

I usually have great experiences at every Panera I visit. For whatever reason, this location seems to operate at a level of subpar common sense. I just picked up a rapid delivery order of several different pastries for a houseful of guests. I got home, opened the bag, expected to see the pastries all neat and packaged individually as they always have been at literally every other location at which I've placed this exact order. Nope, they were all tossed into one bag, commingled, as though the pastries were going to form one super-pastry and take over the pastry world. Do better, Kenosha Panera. Do better. read more

Extremely disappointed in the customer service at Panera Bread. In March we placed a digital pick up order for the Panera in Kenosha. My husband picked it up and brought it home and we live 25 minutes away. When he opened the bag, my broccoli and cheddar bread bowl was missing. My husband called right away and the woman said she would make a note of it and that we could come back sometime to get our bread bowl. We do not go to Panera on a regular basis because it is not close to our house. We went today and ordered 2 drinks and I asked for our free bread bowl. We waited 30 minutes in the drive through. When we pulled to the window, the manager, Jessica, asked for more information and I explained. She said they had no record and she was unwilling to accommodate us. She asked if we wanted a coupon; no, I want the food I paid for preciously and did not receive. I asked her why she could not give us the bread bowl and she said there was no record. I don't think it would be that hard to honor this small request also considering we waited half an hour in the drive through. When we got home I called because my husband found the receipt. I'm not sure how that really matters since it does not prove we did not get our food as ordered. I also expressed that we waited half an hour not for our two drinks. It for that. Instead of taking the opportunity to apologize for the way Jessica handled things at the drive through from a customer service perspective, all that she said was they are working at decreasing their wait times at the drive through. End result, an unhappy costumer who will not be going back to the location after getting my free bread bowl. read more

So not once, not twice but 3 times in the last 6 months have I been met with "I am sorry, we are out of bread bowls". Not at or near closing but before the dinner hour, 445pm. They are a bakery right? So how do you run out of baked goods mid day? Piss poor management, that's how. Better locally owned options to support from here on out. read more

Stop turning off your online ordering, and the next available slot is four days from now??? Ordering in person at this location takes an unreasonable amount of time. If you do not have the staff to support online ordering, then you are not paying a high enough wage to bring in enough workers. read more

I love Panera *anywhere* but I had an especially wonderful experience at this one! Panera in Kenosha was super about making sure my meal was gluten free - I did not get sick. I had the creamy tomato soup - no croutons! - and the fuji apple chicken salad. Everything was clean, prompt and tasty. If you are in the area (outlet mall anyone?) then come up to Kenosha and eat here! read more

In Phoenix, we don't have Panera and I have heard people RAVE about this place! So I decided to come here for lunch while visiting my friend in Wisconsin. I'm pretty sure it is the same company that does Paradise Bakery by us in Phoenix. It was super busy because it was lunchtime. I ordered a chipotle chicken sandwich and chicken noodle soup. Both were okay. I wasn't overly impressed. It's definitely better than going to Subway, but it just reminds me of Paradise Bakery which is just overpriced sandwiches, soup, and salads. read more

Waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes today and got the wrong food. Drove back went inside to get the correct food. Then AGAIN the sandwich I ordered was made incorrectly with the completely wrong bread even though they admitted to having the correct bread for the toasted steak and white cheddar. When I went back in the second time two of the three employees seen me and hurried into the back like they didnt want to help anyone. Finally I asked for a refund and that took 10 minutes. This Kenosha WI location is terrible. The food is not fresh, they are always out of something on their menu, the iced tea always tastes old and watered down, the drive thru is always closed and you sit and wait for 30 45 and even over 60 minutes for your food on a regular basis. Stay away from the Kenosha Panera bread especially if you don't have a lot of time. I spent over an hour trying to get food today and ended up not eating because I was so aggravated. Corporate needs to step in and do something about this horrible location! read more

We went there and got some food and we were starving and I was baddy and I wanted Mac and cheese and that was the first thing my mom ordered and we paid full price for the bacon and Mac and cheese and did not get it and the manager said that we have to pay full price for a nother one so there for that is a one star rating and now I am starving read more
