Our menu was packed with flavor and variety -- delicious appetizers like pineapple teriyaki ham skewers, a beautiful fruit platter, bacon-wrapped balsamic dates, and a stunning charcuterie board. The kids' table was a huge hit too with creamy mac and cheese, loaded mashed potatoes, and BBQ meatballs! For the main course, we were blown away -- lemon thyme chicken that was sooo fricken delicious, smoldered rosemary tri-tip, honey-glazed spiced baked ham, roasted garlic baby reds, a fresh vegetable medley, and sriracha honey butternut squash. And the chicken curry soup -- easily one of the best soups I've ever eaten in my life! Our caterer, Courtney, was an absolute dream to work with -- professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The cucumber slices were so thick they seemed more like something you would dip in a ranch dressing- not put on a sandwich. The Pho broth was worst I have ever had. Not much more to say. If you are a connoisseur of Vietnamese food, don't go here... If you don't know how Vietnamese Pho or Banh mi should taste - then you won't know you're getting bad Vietnamese food. They have a really well seasoned made in-house fry sauce that is delightfully smoky and sweet, and balances out the fries very nicely. It is one of the best fry sauces I've ever had, and I have had a lot of them. Constructive criticism: For the up-charge on the unique and tasty fries add a few more or lower the charge a bit. It's the only thing that feels a bit scamish as I've walked away several times feeling like I could have had just a few more I would have been satisfied. I'm willing to admit that's a me problem possibly, that being said I'm not a fatty, I'm actually a small dude, so take that for what it's worth. The Men's bathroom needs a couple updates, a divider for the urnal for privacy for the shy guys, and for those of us who don't want to see some crusty private bits walking in the door.
