Bacon burger with fries
Jan L.

I had a lovely lunch. The service was good. The food was better. I got so involved with the taste my photo shows I had eaten half before photographing. Definitely a nice place to visit if one likes burgers and good food.

Had dinner at Bacon And Bleu. Had been here a number of times before and I really enjoy the food. They brew their own Root Beer and it is so good. All the food is good that I have had. Still working through the menu. I had the Bushism Chicken Sandwich. Superlicious! My grandson had the Stuffed Southwest Burger. It was humongous; as a teen he devoured it no problem. Service has always been very good. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Makes for a very pleasant time eating great food. The restaurant is laid back with a relaxed atmosphere. Such a great place to escape the hustle of outside and just chill. Recommend this place a lot.

Chicken fried bacon with country gravy for dipping.

Our first visit, the food and service, were very good. We started with the chicken fried bacon as an appetizer. It was good cooked just right and not too greasy, but obviously, the bacon has a lot of fat anyway. My wife had the steak sandwich with jalapeños and a side salad in lieu of frys. The salad was big and delicious. She enjoyed the steak sandwich also. I had the stuffed bacon and blue burger. It's rare that I get a hamburger that was cooked as well as this one. It was outstanding, while we were there a couple of regulars came in and ordered the same burger. I had the tangled onion strings in lieu of the frys. The onion strings had more oil left on them than I liked, but overall, they were good. The server also let us taste the home brewed root beer. It is a yeast based root beer and wasn't to our liking. We will definitely go back again.

We followed it with the corned beef soup, which was more like a rich, hearty stew. The tender brisket literally melted in your mouth. And for the potato lovers--this place is heaven! Mashed, home fries, and balsamic fries... we just had to try it all. Even though we were completely full, we couldn't pass up GMA's "Slutty" Peanut Butter Brownie. Warm, topped with ice cream, whipped cream, cookie crumbles, Fruity Pebbles, fresh strawberries, and hot fudge... and yes, we finished it. Now we're officially in a food coma! A huge thank you to our Uber driver--and owner of the Yellowstone Motel--for recommending this unique spot. Between the amazing food and a fun LA born server it made for one of the most memorable dining experiences we've had in a long time. Thank you, Ava--we'll definitely be back!

April 2026 Idaho Falls, Idaho…read more I was surprised to see this place is attached to a hotel when I drove up. Typically I do not eat at restaurants that are attached to a hotel. However, Yelp told me it was a 4.3 star place to eat. I asked if they had any nonalcoholic beers. The waiter brings me a can of beer to show me what it is. When I tell him that I will have it. He says well I'll just take it back and put it in a glass. So they bring me a 16 ounce glass with the beer poured in and it only filled 12 ounces. I ordered the Nacho Mama's Dip. It is a chicken nacho dip. The waiter told me it was a large portion so I am eating that just as my meal. My husband ordered the fish and chips. When you walk in the front door, the bar is right there. Pretty large bar for one to sit and enjoy a drink or a meal. To the right our booths and high tables that line the wall as well as some booths in the middle of the restaurant that make you feel like you are sitting under a gazebo. There are tables and booths on the far wall as well. The tables are cut to appear like a live edge wood top table. The booths sit too low and the table sits high. Even my husband who is 6'2 felt an imbalance with the table to chair. My nachos come out and the cheese sauce is dripping off the side of the dish. It is an absolute mess. The nacho chips are off to the side. The toppings consist of black olives and onions with four pieces of diced tomatoes. Accompanied by a side plastic dish is salsa, sour cream, and guacamole. The guacamole is definitely not homemade. My biggest complaint is the cheese sauce is definitely from a can. The cheese that they did put on the nachos was a slice of cheese that was not even melted. See picture. Reminds me that I am eating in a restaurant attached to a hotel. There are no beans. The chicken is mixed in with the cheese sauce. And it is sparingly there. This dish is absolutely disgusting! The fish and chips were terrible. They're served in a basket with four pieces of fish and they sit upon fresh cut fries. The fish was not good. The batter has a odd taste. Perhaps the oil it is fried in? I think I would've been better off going to Culver's and having their fish platter. Although my beYr was in a can, it was very cold. It was truly the best part of my meal. I am so disappointed that yelp led me to this place. This is my warning to others. Stay away. We had two completely different meals and neither of them were good.

The food was good, but it was not worth the experience. If we knew it would take so long we would have gone somewhere else. The outside seating is comprised of patio tables and chairs lining the exterior of the restaurant. It was nice at first, but there's a bee that likes to fly around which even the server was familiar with. We did outdoor seating and getting there at sunset we were sitting there in the dark with barely any light by the time our food arrived (almost two hours to get all our food for a party of four - 4 entrees and 2 appetizers total). The service was friendly but it was awkward seeing some people getting served even when they were seated after us. I loved the chicken wellington and would say that is the most unique dish at their restaurant. The food is overall good quality but this restaurant is probably better catered for pairs who are looking to celebrate a special event together. Indoor seating preferred over Outdoor seating.

The service was excellent with friendly waiters and waitresses! The menu has something for everyone--creative pizzas like the Rancher and Thai Pie, hearty pastas, fresh salads, and solid pub favorites--so nobody at our table had trouble finding something they loved. Our pizzas came out hot, flavorful, and loaded with toppings, and the appetizers and salads were fresh and generously portioned. They also offer gluten-free crust and "Hold the Gluten" options, which is a huge plus when you're dining with people who have dietary restrictions Service has been consistently friendly and attentive, and the whole place has the feel of a well-run local favorite rather than a generic chain. Their happy hour deals in the afternoon are a great value, with discounts on drinks and appetizers that make it an easy choice for an early dinner or casual hangout.
