Bacon Turkey Bravo & Chicken Noodle Soup ...and fire
    Eric K.

Stopped in while poking around Hershey for the evening, as I was in the mood for a known quantity...and Panera usually fills the bill. I ordered a 'U pick 2' - Bacon Turkey Bravo & Chicken Noodle soup & sat myself down near the fireplace. Order was up in the usual amount of time - everything correct & 'consistently Panera'. I actually ended up here again a week or 2 later & had the same experience - no worries about this location!

The girl to the right will go out of her way to treat you poorly. Make sure to say hi next you stop by for soup.

Average food served by rude people. Apparently if you interrupt them from using their cell phones they get so upset they don't acknowledge you at all. Use zero manners and give you dirty looks. Not looking for stellar service but manners would be nice. If you're seeking the same, another nearby location would be best,

It's called an avocado sandwich put some avocado on it

Come on Panera...Really? Ordered a pick two sandwich to include a Mediterranean veggie and these are the tomatoes they gave me on that. Thank God, my granddaughter had tomatoes that she doesn't like on her turkey sandwich and I got hers, but on her turkey avocado sandwiche this is the amount of avocado she got on it. This is why I hate eating at chain restaurants.

Strawberry Pecan Oatmeal with extra Cinnamon Crunch Topping

Came for a quick breakfast with my son. Ordered a Pumpkin Muffin and a Strawberry Pecan Oatmeal with extra cinnamon topping. Our eat-in order took about 10 minutes. The location didn't appear to be busy, but they could have used one extra person working the front of the house. There were only two people working registers, checking orders upon completion and running outside for curbside pickup. My son seemed to like his muffin. Would be nice if it came out heated upon request, but heating it yourself in their microwave is pretty standard at all Paneras I've been to. The oatmeal was okay. The did add extra cinnamon topping as requested, but the overall temp was inconsistent throughout. Speaking of temperature, this location is always freezing! The ac seems to be on all the time regardless of the temp outside. Bring a sweatshirt!

    Bistro French Onion Soup

So the food was good, staff was really nice. Took the food to go since we just got out of the gym. Got a cup of French onion soup and half a sandwich. Both tasted good. The issue is when I got towards the bottom of the French onion I felt something heavy in there, so I pulled it out, and it was a damn quarter!! I could have choked on the thing! That is the last thing I ever would have expected to find in my soup, I have no idea where it has even been.

I was in Hershey and wanted to get a quick bite to eat for breakfast so I decided to stop off at this Panera Bread located on the outskirts of Hummelstown. This Panera is located in a large shopping center, but is located in an isolated building. Inside of this Panera you have the option to order from their kiosks or from the cashiers. I decided to order from the kiosk and got a steak, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel along with a strawberry banana smoothie. After around 5-10 minutes my sandwich and smoothie was dropped off at my table. I have never had that happen to me before at Panera, but I appreciated it. My breakfast sandwich, which is fairly new at Panera was very good. The bagel was moist, thick and covered in tasty toppings. The steak and cheese were also very tasty. My strawberry smoothie was tasty and on the standards of all the other Panera's. Altogether, this is an above average Panera with friendly food and kind staff.

Love the classic sierra turkey. No longer on the menu but if you ask for it they'll make it!

We always order soup and baguette on the side. We like the soup but their baguette is getting smaller every time.

Wow! My companion…read moreand I stopped in on an early Saturday evening after months of "you know, we should try that place sometime." We are glad we finally did. 1762 was formerly known as The Warwick Hotel, and that's the prominent markings you'll see from the street. It is a really excellent spot on the square in Hummelstown with cozy charm and exceptional service. My companion was initially skeptical when she saw wine on tap but immediately changed her mind when she saw the offerings--good quality and reasonable price point. The beer selection is also good. Not a huge number of beers but well-selected. Although we didn't have a full meal we did enjoy the sausage and honey appetizer, which was outrageously tasty with sausage from a local butcher in Hershey. Service was efficient and friendly, especially considering the bar (where we sat) was hopping. We also met the owner, Dave, who rolled up his sleeves to assist at the bar while also personally greeting customers. Our biggest regret is that we waited so long to finally visit...and we'll definitely be back soon.

Great little restaurant not far from Hershey. They seem to have several separate rooms for dining,…read moreso it was not too noisy. They do have a bar area which seemed to be more lively. We started off with the mushroom flatbread, which was delicious. Hubby had the mahi-mahi special and I had a shrimp dish. I got to choose what kind of topping I wanted on my shrimp, which was really interesting. I chose the sautéed mushrooms. Yum. Plus, lots of great choices for sides. We will definitely come back when we are in the area!
