Dishes from the morning crowd at 3:43

Nasty bathroom smells, tissues everywhere. Needs updating badly Trays still here at 3:42 pm from breakfast. Parking lot has a giant hole in the middle that's hard to miss, it will mess up your car. The outside rat control box is openly seen for anyone driving by to see it. It's just a major turn off to buy anything. I just had to leave. My husband refuses to purchase from this location the music isn't appealing and is extremely loud. Other locations are anything like this.

When in a pinch and lazy mood Panera is always a safe bet for me. We have had the flat bread, chicken tikka soup bowl and the toasted fortega sandwich. We ordered take away, but the service was quick and efficient when we got there for pick up. The ambience inside is always nice. Being a weekend it was a bit slow, but the servers are always kind and helpful. The chicken tikke soup bowl didn't taste anything like chicken tikka so that was disappointing. The flat bread and the fortega sandwich were delicious. The sandwich was my favorite as I had never had anything like it before.

Had lunch here today and my food was cool. This location is slightly dirty. All of the tables were dirty and needed to be cleaned. The floor was also dirty. Although the space was dirty the food was delicious! I had broccoli cheeses soup and grilled cheese! Prices here are definitely expensive

Came for lunch on Sunday around 12:30. They were pretty busy but still moved and served efficiently. The food was fresh and delicious!

I was just having breakfast here and noticed the unrelated review score this location has. It may be because of past experiences but wanted to provide a more recent and actual experience.. The location is extremely convenient off NC68 an Penny Road intersection. It has a patio and plenty of parking. The interior is well decorated and maintained clean at all times. I use to love how Panera placed the time on each fresh brews of coffees which was for a long time a competitive edge to Starbucks; they don't do that anymore. Coffees selection is great better than competitors and the fresh brews are available for self serve. I had a soufflé bacon spinach which are Panera specialties and a coffee. Server was very attentive and helpful. Overall great experience and highly recommend for breakfast or lunch. Prices are a little on high side for their breads but for a good reason. Very clean bathrooms which shows good management! Overall rating 4 stars!

It's been a while since I've been here. The menu has changed and not in a great way...in my opinion. A few of my prior favorites are no longer available. I had the flatbread which was a great size but unfortunately it was not hot...only warm. They did not appear to be that busy when we walked in so I'm at a loss to understand why our food apparently sat for a while before they called out our name. We also waited at the counter for a few minutes before someone came to take our order. I don't know if we will return. I don't highly recommend this location for quick service and hot food.

Great casual atmosphere, the staff have really come into their own, and the food is simple but has little touches that often make it a small cut above most other sports bar type places around. My favorite things to order are the smashburgers, chicken philly (almost as good as the one at Old Town, a restaurant also belonging to this same owner), and now the fish and chips. I decided to get those last night, and the fish was two good size thick cod filets, fried and breaded perfectly. The fish was flaky and tender, the remoulade it came with really elevated it, I'm glad it was not plain tartar sauce (gross). The appetizer favorite here is the pulled pork nachos for me, otherwise, we usually just get meals. If I had one small complaint, it's that the tea is usually brewed pretty weak. Steep it a little longer, and you've got me fully hooked.

We loved their homemade dressings. Service: Our server was great! Attentive, kind, and offered to let us taste test. She also was helpful in her descriptions and recommendations. However, our experience fell short upon arrival. The hostess said they don't have a table for 5 but we could add a chair to a 4 top. And when I said that's not a comfortable or reasonable set up for 5 people and asked if we could push two tables together, she seemed annoyed. Who thinks it's acceptable for a party of 5 to sit someone at the corner point of a 4 top table when there are open tables all around? Management advice: If this is truly your approach, I'd recommend you rethink that logic. This is basic hospitality.

I don't know if the ownership has changed or if they just made some decisions to alter things, but either way it changes our opinion of the place. First and most important for us, they used to be the only place we were aware of in NC to get Gluten Free Crab Cakes which was a major reason we frequented Sammy G's. That has apparently changed and the new Gluten Free menu is basically just the meats menu which is a real shame. It looks like they have made some other small changes to the regular menu as well, none of those were all that concerning but the loss of this GF treat is a real blow for us. If you are a celiac and found reviews about the GF crab cakes, please be aware they appear to be gone now. Additionally, the prices across the menu seem to have gone up by a few dollars. When you consider that Sammy G's was never a cheap place to eat, and given the state of the economy these days, that actually does come out to a noticeable change and makes it harder to justify going. However, with the loss of the old GF options, it's unlikely we'll come back anywhere near as often as we used to.

They make a lot of their sides from scratch, and bake their own breads. Everything is made to order, so be ready for a short wait, but know that it is worth it. To get here, once you're on Airpark road, take your second right. If you hit the traffic circle you've gone too far. After taking that right, drive to the end of the straightaway and you'll be confronted with a large parking lot on the right. Spring Garden Bakery is in the back right corner. The restaurant is clean. Minimally appointed. Don't expect comfy chairs, they use the industrial grade metal ones. No one is staying here very long so that is fine. Menus are on the counter as you approach the register, and photos are on Yelp if you want to look first. They have a wide selection of sandwiches, salads, burgers, and daily specials. Drinks are either brewed tea, or canned/bottled beverages. I have grown particularly fond of their club sandwich. It comes with a lot of meat on it, and they're happy to sub in Honey Mustard for mayo, which is the way I prefer it. Another thing that I love here, when they have fried okra, GO FOR IT. It appears to be hand-breaded and fried to order, the most recent batch I had was perfect. Golden brown, crispy outside, tender okra inside. Yum. It's not to be confused with Fig and Olive Cafe in Greensboro. Fig & Olive is new to Stock + Grain. It opened last month, July 2025. Stock + Grain opened in early 2022. The food hall has really filled in since then. We visited for dinner before a Carolina Core soccer game and the place was packed. My wife and I were drawn to Fig & Olive's menu. We wanted something light and relatively healthy. They sell sandwiches and bowls, priced at $11 to $18.50 each. We both got the Portofino Bowl for $16.50 each. It comes with baby arugula, soppressata, bresaola, marinated artichoke hearts, shaved pecorino romano, fresh lemon, and extra virgin olive oil. The bowls/salads were presented nicely. One of our friends commented that they looked "delightful." Unfortunately, the bowls looked better than they tasted. They were unbalanced and hard to enjoy. We were unable to finish them. While the portion sizes were decent, I was working/chewing through a lot of dense, cured meat. There wasn't any dressing except for the EVOO (which I'm not sure we even noticed) and some lemon wedges. Overall, the bowls weren't that flavorful. They felt incomplete. The quality of the ingredients was fine, though. They give you a pager so you know when to pick up your order. When I went to pick up our bowls, they made a mistake and only prepared one bowl instead of two. I let them know and later, the cashier brought my bowl directly to where we were sitting. She was polite and apologetic. No big deal to me. It looked like there were only two people working and they were busy. Given how new this place is and the appealing menu, I'd be willing to give it another shot. Maybe they were still working some kinks out and/or we ordered the wrong thing. Fig & Olive is certainly a nice addition to Stock + Grain's lineup. According to Fig & Olive's page on Stock + Grain's website, the business is "a social enterprise" of Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC's Providence program where "all efforts and profits support workforce development programs." After a some discussion and online menu review, we settled on Rixster. We've, been many times in the past, but haven't placed a to go order since the days of Covid I called in the our order as I was finishing up a few errands, the hostess who took the order was very friendly and said it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. I arrived a very full house of families dining and sports fans enjoying food, drink and drink while watching the game in the bar area. I figured I'd have a chance to grab a beer while I waited for the food to be ready, but was pleasantly surprised to find it was already done. After some debate, I decided to try something different on this visit, and got the Hawaiian Chicken Grill sandwich with a side of a Mac & cheese. Getting home, I opened the to go container to find a massive slab of chicken, sticking out both sides of the bun, not surprising based on my past varieties of chicken sandwiches from Rixster Grill! The sandwich was delicious, marinated in teriyaki and super juicy, topped with cheese and a grilled pineapple ring. It really hit the spot, and definitely filled me up. The mac and cheese was also fantastic, smooth, creamy and very tasty...only wish I had gotten an extra side of it. Overall, it was another delicious meal from Rixster Grill!
