Today was my first time ever eating at Panera. It was pretty good! Staff were friendly and tables were clean. My wife an I ordered from the 'pick 2' menu. The Chicken Chipotle Avocado sandwich was delicious, and the BBQ chicken Mac 'n' Cheese was good too. The drinks are great, especially the blood orange one! I have been to this place now about three different times. What a dissatisfied event each and every time. I also used to go other Paneras' outside of town and they were great. However, since I moved here this store is a disappointment because of food quality, service, and cleanliness which is solely lacking. While waiting for my order three different people had complaints about their orders. Their orders were included stale food, food not completely put in the order and the lack of the express services for a quick pickups when a pre-order was given. I also was not given a completed order. My table nor many tables hadn't been bussed. The walls were smeared with subject matters I then left . I did speak to the manager , she did not take any actions to resolve these issues. I will not be going to this place in the nearest future. read more

I usually do mobile orders and they're really good about getting my order correct. One time they made a huge mistake on my order at the front table, I let Panera know and the manager fixed it right away. The manager went above and beyond! Ordered a cinnamon crunch bagel, plain cream cheese and iced latte for dine in. Received an uncut untoasted bagel with honey walnut cream cheese (allergic to tree nuts). When I went back to pick up I was told I could go stand in line (again) to get a refund. Stood in line ten minutes then was told order was cancelled and I had been refunded. No paperwork, nothing. It was very busy n hectic when I went in. There was a few rude people and they were out of deserts so I was already not feeling it! I was standing there just watching the people prepare the food and I saw this young kid who was awesome with his customer service! Very polite and made sure everyone he gave an order to he thanked them for coming in. He was a tall kid like 6'4 so he stood out. I wanna say his name was Matt. i looove panera! so this was the first panera i've been to. i ordered the chicken bacon dijon sandwhich. it was delicious *drools* lol. the place is nicely decorated. i just wish they had more booth seats, but that's just me cuz they're comfy hah. other than that, if you like sandwhiches and bread you should definitely go here. oh and i believe they have wireless internet here because i saw a bunch of people with their laptops. i'd soo go here to do my homework haha. read more

Good food but 2 stars becuase the last 6 times i have been here or orderd online....no bread bowls for soup. And many of those times have been out of soup! With all the electronic kiosks and cash registers you would think you could track and order items and not run out or make more during prep. This time there was a long line so i ordered through the kiosk. I really enjoy coming to Panera! I literally feel like its autumn every time I come here :-) The amazing smells and the cool comfortable interior instantly make me want soup, fresh baked bread and pastries, and coffee. I alternate between the French Onion or the Broccoli Cheddar soups. My favorite sandwich would have to be the Turkey Avocado BLT. Great location in the Target center. I've never had a problem with the food, especially the mac and cheese! It can get dirty where tables are not being cleaned up and a few times I've has to ask for the table to be wiped. Not a big deal, it gets pretty busy for lunch. Panera is always tasty but the thing with this location is that they are CONSTANTLY running out of food. On fridays and weekends are the worst. Hanford isn't a big city or anything. I come from Lemoore, which is the city over, to eat Panera. But if they know that these days are the busiest, shouldn't they prep more food and the baked goods? I love panera! I even have had great experiences at this Panera which is why I won't give it a one star. I ordered a couple of things to go today including a salad. Got home and I didn't have the dressing. I see from other reviews this isn't the first time. If you do a to go order from this location be sure to check everything including dressings. Thought they already had a persons specifically there to do that, but double check or you'll be like me, eating a dry Fuji Apple salad with tears in your eyes. read more

It was a domino of bad that resulted in this two star review. Mission - good healthy, clean food after the Turkey Day pig out. Obstacles - Confusing menu with variations of a few food items rather than choices of differing food items. Don't give me 3 different turkey sandwich choices which are confusing. Throw some other sandwiches in there. Also took cashier much longer to process orders. Sandwich OK. Soup OK. Pasta OK. Bathrooms dirty and out of toilet paper - NOT OK. I love Panera bread and it's food, so it's sad to write this review, but when getting our food here, they didn't seem to pay attention to our order, and gave us food (which they charged us for) that we didn't order. In addition, the silverware they gave us looked like they had taken it out of the dirty dish bin, and put it on our plate. When I went up and asked for a clean pair of spoons, the girl took out a hand full of spoons, and shuffled through them, like she actually had to search through the spoons that SHOULD already be clean, just to find a clean pair. read more

It was a while since I had eaten here so I decided to eat here for dinner last night with my family and my best friend and it was an experience that I will never forget. It was only the four of us and we had to wait over an hour for our food to be ready and when our food was ready my mothers tomato soup was too cold and when my dad asked nicely if they could heat it up the employee said "There is one microwave in this place can't you just do it yourself?" and my I actually had no idea there was a microwave there and my dad had to find it just to warm up my mothers tomato soup and when my bacon and cheese sandwich was ready the bread was very soggy. I did enjoy the two large Mountain Dew's I drank but that's it. Would not recommend coming here and I will not eat here ever again. read more

Today was my first visit ever to a Panera; I was told the French Onion Soup was delicious here so I came to give it a try. I will agree the soup is exactly what I was looking for! It will be where I come for my French Onion Soup! I also enjoyed the chocolate chip cookies and the Blood Orange Lemonade. My only mistake was ordering half a sandwich. I chose their version of a Chicken salad option they had and it was less than a scoop on a piece of bread with lettuce and tomato. It was good but extremely overpriced at $5.79. Maybe a whole sandwich at that price would be fair for what you get. Anyway my first visit was fair because of the overpriced half sandwich but I will be back for onion soup!! read more

Very nice and clean panera. The guy taking my order wasn't too bright and ended up screwing it up and that's where I kind of loss faith. But when I walked up to the counter the kind gentleman making the meals went above and beyond to make the correct meal and not ask for anything in return not even the difference I'm sure it was more. I went into the Hanford store this morning for the first time since the pandemic has changed everything. I picked up a pastry ring and went to the counter where an associate met me and asked " cash or card?" Just those 3 words. I replayed that it would be on my card. She then waved to her right and said " that'll be on the kiosk, just ask if you have any questions." I found the kiosk and it was out of order so found the other one and tried to complete my transaction. I could not find my item under the descriptions so I turned to ask for help. There was not a single person at the counter. I approached the counter and waited 2 to 3 minutes and no one came out. I then tried again and was finally able to complete my transaction with absolutely no help. I was the only customer in the store at the time. I did attempt to call to speak to the manager twice, neither time during the indicated " busy hours" and there was no answer and no answering machine to request a call back. The pastry was just ok, somewhat stale though. This is NOT the fantastic service and food I had come to expect from Panera by any means. I am afraid this pandemic has become an excuse to provide less than acceptable service and I simply do not accept that. read more
