Love to order food here to go. Love the chicken cranberry and walnut salad. Autumn squash soup is a favorite Also, service is great and orders are always correct. Lol I love the pickles read more

Stopped for Sunday lunch as multi generational family. Orders were all correct and enjoyed. I forgot to use rewards card for points and that was a fiasco trying to get rewards earned after the fact. But with $79.00 I want credit, for them.do not recall my password and since we are travelling, the home phone was listed so now with this passkey crap I can't get into my account to add them. Oh well, Panera is a dying spot in the business so not a problem. I see it's been 6 months ago I used my card last. After many years I see they have added an almond pastry back on menu but still no sesame seeded bread. There isn't much to choose from for drinks if you prefer caffeine free and carbonated free beverages. We were at the Davenport Elmore street location and the music wasn't appropriate for children diners. I think it was the owner taking up a 4 top table doing his computer work, go complete this in your office, dude! Or get up and help the staff wipe down tables between guests cause NO ONE WAS TENDING THIS TASK, Better yet stroll around with coffee pots and refill guests cups or offer some free to customers. read more

This place was ok. Ordered for dining in, the staff was friendly and food came quickly. Tuna sandwich tasted as always but had only half a slice of the Swiss cheese. The strawberry salad with chicken was too sugary with too much dressing on it. Overall place seemed to be clean and parking wasn't bad. read more

Panera never disappoints!!! My to go when I'm on the run and trying to watch the calorie count and yes I said trying to watch . I got the Cobb salad it comes with chicken egg and avocado and I also got the turkey bravo which is out of this world. My husband on the other hand got the Italian sub with tomato soup ( his inner child calling). The place was very clean. Staff very sweet as always. Busy during lunch hours. read more

Panera Bread - Sandwiches Near Me - Davenport, Iowa

Very disappointed in this establishment. It was a favorite for Years. The toaster was very slow, no knife with my cream cheese. (Hard to eat cream cheese on your bagel while traveling with no knife). People were lwaiting in line because they forgot to do a large order. I've been to Panera in Cedar Rapids and it's run so much smoother. e read more

Ordered chicken noodle soup for take out, my wife has a bad cold. Container was appox 2/3 full and consisted of broth and "a" carrot, that's it. They have wonderful muffins and cinnamon rolls but DON'T order any soup !! Horribly disappointed read more

The service at this Panera Bread location was not good. They mixed up our order and didn't seem to be bothered by anything. The food was also inconsistent with what we are used to. The restaurant didn't look clean with overflowing garbage bins and the WiFi did not work at all. read more

The food is pretty good but the service is not. My order has been wrong twice in the last month and when I asked for a cup of water I was told to ask someone else. What? read more

We have previously had good service and food from this Panera, but the last 3-4 curbside orders have been messed up. Really dissatisfied with the current service at this location right now. -2 separate orders where tortilla soup had no tortilla strips (so it's just chicken soup) -1 order where ingredients were missing from salad and sandwich, and didn't get the correct sandwich bread, and we got chips instead of baguettes. Getting wheat bread instead of tomato basil makes a big difference on a Mediterranean veg sandwich that is also missing the hummus and half the veg it normally has. -1 order today where both tomato and French onion soup were missing the toppings (croutons, cheese) and no baguettes so we had to drive back to the store to get them. This is the most frustrating part, because when whole items are missing, you spend 20 minutes in the car to go back and get them and then your other food is cold, and you don't get any credit or free pastry or anything for your trouble. read more

This was my first time using their delivery option and I'm super impressed. My food was here faster than what was quoted, looked better than when I hit the drive-thru (at the Kimberly store), and the driver was charming and polite. I'll definitely be ordering again soon! read more

Have been very happy with takeout and their on line ordering is very easy.

Another overpriced place with mediocre food. The Panera I went to get my order wrong not to mention the atmosphere I had no air movement whatsoever way too stuffy inside. read more

I will not be coming back to this Panera Bread. 1st off they are slow and 2nd I get to listen to the workers talk about my wife wanted on her sandwich and how it's a messed up order. If you don't like how she wanted it who cares cause your not the that's eating it just do your job and make it how the customer ordered it. I have never felt so disrespected. read more

As far as Panera goes, I'm usually not dissapointed- they have fairly healthy food for a chain which is great while i'm traveling. The service was good and the food was ok. My greek salad was on the wilted side, and my $5 smoothie looked like it was blended with no ice- super runny and kind of gross. Kind of a bummer. read more

Service was slow. Had to send food back to be prepared as we ordered. Oatmeal was cold. Bathrooms were not clean

Would never recommend this place to anyone. The manager, Angie Porter, is awful. She treats the customers terribly and she should not be put in charge.... they messed up our order and she was incredibly rude and acted as if we did something wrong. Food is decent at best but not worth dealing with her. read more

It has been a while since I have been here. After this visit I remember why. This location is not very clean. The food is below average. Definitely not worth what they are charging. There are a lot of options in the area. read more

Ordered delivery at 9:30 and my credit card was charged. Nothing had shown by 10:40, so I called to ask what was going on. My order had been canceled and no one informed me. Was told I now couldn't get what I previously ordered because breakfast ended at 10:30. So I ordered a few different things. What arrived was not what I had ordered. Will not use again. read more

I have ordered online for delivery several times from Panera on Elmore in Davenport. Once the order did not have the fruit cup which I had ordered. (It is $1.99 extra.) When I asked about it, the delivery person went back to the cafe on Elmore and returned with it. Last time I ordered a turkey bacon avocado sandwich which arrived with no avocado. I called the cafe, and I was offered another sandwich which I didn't take. This time, there was no pickle with the whole sandwich and no dressing with the whole salad. I tried to call the manager, but I didn't get any response. I now check to see if I got the ordered items, but I don't open up everything. I guess that I will need to do that if I order again. I think that they must have some new people working on the line. It is a case of buyer beware or being forewarned. read more

I love Panera Bread! But this location served our food in dirty dishes and the silverware was filthy! This is the second time this happened to us! No more read more

wow! this place sucks! i ordered a turkey and avocado blt and new england clam chowder. The cold sandwich came with no avocado, one pathetic slice of bacon, wilted lettuce and the tomato slice was just the top of the vegetable(basically all skin). The soup was lukewarm and the clams had fucking sand in them, not just one bite, the whole damn thing was sandy. my girlfriend's dry salad and soggy sandwich sprang to life and whispered in creepy unison,"the panera in illinois is better". I assured them that i would act on that information and promptly left the area. read more

Used this location to cater a lunch for 35 ($427) and was extremely disappointed! They only delivered half of the food and when I called to let them know I was offered gift cards instead since they "were busy" now with lunch crowd!! If you cater almost daily, as I do I suggest GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! They sent me $15 in gift cards to make up for it... very laughable given the $400 I spent!! read more

(Update) Would consistently get orders wrong. After forgetting about $2 worth of sides I ended up calling the manager, who took down my address to send a coupon to my address for another purchase to compensate for lost value. We pinged them again, got a gift card, then came back a few months later, and it seems like they've improved--more accurate orders, improved quality. Then they went right back to going downhill, and even worse than before. Entire parts of an order that didn't even have any customization/substitutes were totally missing, and portions were low, even for them. We've tried to give them numerous chances because their food *can* be good when they get it right, but the past three tries have been wrong in more than one way. This is the Jay Cutler of quick-casual food: expensive, inconsistent, terrible ROI, sullen. Case in point, for one order: wrong bread for a sandwich, three leaves of greens only, no requested addition (spinach), dressing not on side, expired fruit cup, out of flatbreads (at 7pm? seriously?), not even "half" of a sandwich ordered. Another case in point: half of a salad's ingredients not even in the salad. We've given this place numerous chances, probably many more than it deserved to, but for the money you're dropping ($12 per head), it needs to be correct. Hell, at least at Subway you can watch them get a sandwich wrong and correct an issue as it happens, and it's half of the price. Most of the grievances really do have to do with poor management and partially with staff that seem to just want to get past the shift, and I can kind of understand why. I don't imagine they're paid enough to care, but moreover, their menu changes constantly. All of the items I had liked from before are now gone, anyway. The acute problems are local, but Panera, on the corporate end, continues to find ways to charge you more for less food. And the management seems to deliberately order their staff to under-portion, even less than what's advertised. I would strongly advise to just stop going to any of the locations on the Iowa side. I can't vouch for the Moline one, but I doubt I'll go to another Panera again after this. read more

I personally prefer to eat at Ma & Pa, independent places but this was definitely a good quality, reasonably priced small chain, with lots of healthy options (and sugary ones too!). The staff were great. Lots of parking. I would eat there again. read more

The food can be a hit or miss, either really good or spectacularly bad. As for the bakery though, it is consistently bad. When you get a hit in the actual food category however, it is very good. The service leaves something to be desired. The employees are quite rude. Also, you will pay upwards or nine or ten dollars for a meal only to have to pick up and dispose of your own plate. The parking is bad and the restaurant is very tight when it gets busy. read more

First time in this Panera Bread location. I was not satisfied. The half Italian only had about 1/2 of the Sandwich with meat and cheese on it. So, it was really a 1/4 Italian. So for a mini sandwich, a very small apple, and a drink it was $9.50. It also took almost 15 minutes for my order. Slow. But, I was warned about this place!! Now I know better! read more

Panera is a nice place to eat a healthy lunch! I love their turkey and cheese sandwich meals with tea. It is a great place to work quietly and a great place to eat lunch read more

I generally won't leave a negative review, but these folks worked hard for one! The place was slow, and so was the front wait staff. We ordered the Green Goddess Salad with chicken (not recommended if you actually wanted chicken with your salad). The kitchen staff were entirely too busy talking about spinal meningitis to have any interest in putting together our order in a timely fashion, or with any semblance of accuracy. Most enjoyable part of this visit was seeing the place disappear in the rear view menu. Sadly, I cannot find a single redeeming thing about our visit. read more

I really like the food at Panera. The prices are on the high side, but they have really good quality baked goods. They are friendly and well trained. Far better than the other Davenport location. I usually go once or twice a week even though the other is closer to work since they are friendly and welcoming. read more

Terrible service, I will not be back! I ordered a kids sandwich and it came with wheat bread asked the cook to switch it and she completely ignored me. So then I had to stand in line again for nine minutes to order a new one. Overpriced with terrible service, you have been warned! read more

Conveniently located on Elmore and Kimberly. Parking is tight, but even during breakfast and lunch hour rushes - the wait is never too long. I've only had one bad meal - the salad was inedible due to old lettuce. I like the variety and menu changes. read more

Employees didn't know the menu (yes, "employees" plural) and were out of multiple items, most importantly the brea sandwiches are made on, during the dinner hour. read more

Had to wait in line for 10 minutes because three cashiers were chatting with a manager. Finally got to order and ordered a fruit cup and breakfast sandwich. After we paid and were waiting an employee came out and said there were no fruit cups but she would be happy to make one (the only reason I gave more than one star). About 5 minutes later another manager came out and said they couldn't make breakfast sandwiches after 11. It was 1110. We had to wait 15 minutes for actual service and all we got was our money back for the sandwich that the cashier let me order "after hours". Would not recommend this place if customer service is something you care about. read more

I don't know what pixie dust the managers here are spreading, but the staff has been extremely efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly the last dozen times I've been in. Far more than their usual chipper self's, they are engaging and pleasant. The breakfast sandwiches, as well, have really improved with a nice little variety of styles and ingredients. The coffee center is more efficiently laid out and consistently refilled with fresh. Parking is this sites only real challenge, and that's not something that Panera can fix. read more

Friendly staff and great service. My salad was prepared as expected from Panera...excellent! I enjoyed my meal and the cozy environment.

Very busy place. The parking was not the greatest. The service was fast as busy add they were. I had the you pick 2. The salad had very little meat, but was still good. I will go with the soup next time. read more

Painfully slow and disorganized. Food could be better and staff could be more knowledgeable about the menu. Not my best experience.

Best coffee around! Fresh, high quality food; great service. Only knock is the availability of soufflés but otherwise fantastic!

Shit sandwich. The atmosphere is Kafka-esque at best. I ordered an Asiago Roast Beef and a water, and was given an Almond Chicken sandwich and a soda. read more

I would review this as a zero star if I could... Absolutely the worst panera I have ever been to. Went to the bathroom at 7am before ordering my breakfast, the bathroom was disgusting. I thought about going to the one I usually go to which is two miles down the road but decided to give the food a chance since I figured it couldn't be that bad. Of course there was hair in my breakfast sandwich and when I went to fill up my tea cup the dispensers looked like they have never been cleaned. Absolutely disgusting...
