Worthy of zero stars. My family was traveling back home from our Spring break trip. We did a quick search for nearby location while driving on rt 95 and the one at Colonial Heights popped up. We placed the order through my app and received confirmation that the order was placed and received and ready, only to arrive and learn that the place was CLOSED- as in SHUTDOWN. The Panera sign has been taken down and looked like it had been not in service for very long time. I'd been on the road for 3.5 hrs and hungry... to add insult to injury I filed a complaint through the customer service, only to never receive a follow up once I provided the details. I just learned through reading the reviews here that there is new location in the shopping area, yet that address was NOT updated in the app. How is it possible to have the same address but be in different parts of the mall? For outsiders like us we didn't know there was another new location.

3 Words: Crowded, Messy, and anxious... The workers don't greet you when you walk in, instead they expect you to use the kiosk to order. The layout is a disaster.. it's incredibly crowded.. not to mention the ambiance that their last location had with their beautiful fireplace is now gone... everyone's just crammed into one giant dining space with no cozy nooks. Upon checking on my order many times... the workers look overwhelmed and incredibly anxious. The drink area is a sticky mess with trash everywhere.. We literally had to ask an employee for a rag to wipe down where we were going to sit at.. no clean tables whatsoever... This is extremely disappointing and this will be the last time we come to this Panera Bread.

Might have been faster to pick up order inside at the counter. Waited about 15 mins in the drive thru. Kickin grilled cheese had a hint of spice. The creamy salsa verde was a tasty addition to the basic grilled cheese. But the bread was hardly grilled/toasted. The cheese was not melty. The creamy tomato soup was delicious. Both were on the saltier side. I did not like how the baguette was just randomly tossed in the bag rather than wrapped or in a sleeve. The fresh kitchen sink cookie was the perfectly sweet finish to balance all the saltiness.

Took my order, took my money, told me my food was ready. Then couldn't give me my food . Because there wasn't any left. I go there often. won't any more.

We were…read morevisiting from Las Vegas to celebrate my son graduating from the Army, and we were also celebrating my daughter's birthday, so this was a very special family occasion for us. Unfortunately, our experience started off a little disappointing. The greeting at the entrance was not very welcoming. When I walked up and asked for a table for 12, the staff looked at each other and asked, "Are you dining in?" I was a little confused because our entire family was standing there ready to dine. We were told the wait would be about 25 minutes, but we ended up waiting around 40 minutes to be seated. Thankfully, once we were seated, Alisha completely changed the experience for us! Alisha was an amazing server--very attentive, friendly, and welcoming. She made sure everyone had what they needed, offered refills, checked on us throughout our meal, and genuinely made our large family feel taken care of. Most importantly, she went above and beyond for my daughter's birthday. She even joined our family in singing "Happy Birthday" to her, which made my daughter feel special and made the celebration so much more memorable. Thank you, Alisha, for turning what started as a disappointing experience into a wonderful one. Your kindness, attentiveness, and great customer service truly made a difference. Olive Garden is lucky to have you! Thank you, Alisha, for making our family feel welcomed and cared for! As we were leaving we thanked the staff at the front desk t , no one replied... the 5 star review is for Alisha

We ordered goyoza, yum yum noodles, 2 bowls of spicy shoyu with pork belly and garlic cheese fries. Ohhhhh where to begin... The goyoza were from a freezer bag and weren't even good quality. They decided to fry them which made the dough hard (not crispy) and there were about 8 tiny goyoza for $8! The garlic cheese fries were frozen, seasoned, grade school curly fries with cheese whiz on them. The spicy shoyu had soba noodles not Ramen and the noodles were mushy after a couple minutes at the table. This was touted by the waiter as having "more vegetables" than the other soups but that consisted of scallion, frozen corn nibblets, frozen edamame, and kimchee. The pork belly looks like it was purchased cooked and they seared one side. The fat in the pork belly wasn't rendered correctly and the soup was not balanced. In authentic shoyu you get half a soft egg with runny yolk...the egg in this was hard boiled and sliced with an egg slicer. If you're looking for something authentic and tasty- probably skip this restaurant. Our bill was $58 and we left thinking we ate at the mall food court. Please...cooks at Konran...visit Asia or at LEAST some AUTHENTIC Asian restaurants and tweak your menu!

Here is the combined, high-energy review that shows your deep love for the spot: **Rating: (5/5)** ### The Milk & Honey Phenomenon: My Official Hampton Favorite I came in with the mission to try everything on the menu, but I'm going to be honest--I'm already hopelessly stuck on my favorites! This place has officially become my #1 spot in Hampton. It doesn't matter what day of the week it is, the consistency, the 10-star decor, and the "royal" atmosphere always deliver. ** The Vibe & The Art** The atmosphere is like a high-end nightclub lounge meets a classy art gallery. Surrounded by phenomenal **Artbae** portraits of legends like **Prince, Duke Ellington, and Sammy Davis Jr.**, you just find your "lucky table" and soak it all in. It's the best seat in the city, period. ** Top-Shelf Service & The "Rewards Fumble"** The service is unmatched. **Taj** behind the bar is a master of the craft, staying in perfect stride with a buzzing Friday crowd while keeping things personable. **Pro Tip:** Don't be like me--**get your rewards points!** I have missed my "coins" the last couple of times I came because the second that food hits the table, it is so succulent and ready to be devoured that points are the *last* thing on my mind. Put your phone number in the system before you pull that door to leave! ** The Sweet Potato Revelation: Butter Glazed Biscuits** The **Butter Glazed Biscuits** are a life-altering event. Cinnamon-infused biscuits with a **sweet potato crumble and sweet potato butter**, plus that phenomenal cinnamon jam... it's a decadent masterpiece. It feels like a high-end cake met a breakfast pancake. ** The Battle of the Cajun Pasta** The **Cajun Pasta with Shrimp and Crab** is a heavyweight battle. * **The Succulent Giants:** Huge, juicy shrimp and a portion of crab meat so generous it's a struggle to finish. * **The Heat:** That perfect, "oily" spicy kick that keeps you twirling your fork even when your mouth is on fire. ** The Verdict: Phenomenal Value** You get 10-star quality and legendary vibes at a **phenomenal and reasonable price**. Whether you're finishing your plate or taking home a trophy bag of **Honey Bay Wings**, you're leaving happy. **Milk & Honey is the crown jewel of Hampton. Worth the trip, worth the wait, and absolutely worth the burn. 10/10.** *Love the art? Unassuming and much larger on the inside than you'd think with very friendly and quick service. Attentive to pickup orders, providing plenty of utensils and napkins. The food left much to be desired, however. The vegetable curry puffs were spongy and crisp at the same time - strange texture - and the filling was flavorless. The fresh rolls were also hit and miss - the vegetables and shrimp were plentiful (great value) but the rice wrapper was chewy and tough and the dipping sauce was not very good. I dumped it out of the wrappers and ate it as a salad and to be fair it was very fresh and crispy but that shouldn't have to be done. The tom yum with chicken was disappointing. The broth tasted heavily of fish and some other unappetizing taste I can't put my finger on. It's spicy and when it first hits your tastebuds it's got the perfect blend of sour and heat, but the lingering flavor and aroma was just...bad. The cilantro (?) was wilted, the mushrooms soggy and the chicken did not taste good. I ended up not eating it at all. Finally, I do have to say that the Thai ice tea was the best I've ever had. Such a strange combination of good and bad with this place based on my experience tonight. I don't know if I'll be back but because of the staff and atmosphere it might be worth another look. For now, I have to say it just wasn't very good.
