Came to this location, because I was in the area and I wanted some cookies. The inside of this location is huge with plenty of dining space. This location actually gives you real plates and utensils to use if you are dining in. They also have bathrooms on premises, and the customer service was ok. I ordered a pack of cookies and was unsure of where to pick it up. They never said my name and because no one seemed to care about what was going on I looked into someone else bag with pastries trying to find my own bag of cookies. The guy who was as at the service counter didn't seem to be interested in what I was asking because he was fixing someone else order. I just grabbed my cookies and left. I usually do the rapid pick up and the items are prepared with the exact time that they say. Normally, you will have to go up to the register towards the pick up area to retrieve your order. The inside of this Panera is pretty big. Good for groups . The food is always served at perfect temperature. I tried the new Harvest salad and it was delicious. My other staple too, the hearty tomato soup! Make sure you get the croutons for the soup. This happens to be one of the warmest Panera Bread locations. Sometimes because there is a high traffic area of people coming in and out, with the door open, the café becomes cold. It was my first time in this location and I definitely enjoyed my meal. First of all the cashier was very helpful and patient! The cooks in the bag were very kind and sweet! The new blueberry lemonade was out of this world! So good! I definitely have to say it was better than Wendy's strawberry lemonade drink! The only thing I didn't like was how the chicken inside my salad didn't taste fully cooked or if they were to change it to chicken breast cooked in a different way or maybe longer it would taste more juicy! I don't normally leave reviews but after my experience here, I had to. The restaurant was clean and ambiance was relaxing. The manager greeted me when I arrive which I thought was nice. I always enjoy coming to this location - it's always busy but it never feels packed. I have always loved Panera's iced green tea, which is very refreshing, but I've found a new favorite item. Have you ever tried the Lemon Drop cookie? Not only does it have a nice, subtle lemon flavor, but it also contains white chocolate chips! Delicious. I love my neighborhood Panera. This is the best location for quality. Actually it should be same every where but I have had experience in past where the quality is not as good- Bayside location. However, it's lovely there but not upto my expectation. This is so far the best. I love their seasonal soups especially Autumn squash soup. Healthy options and reasonable prices with emphasis on accuracy. They have some good deserts. Btw, their breakfast menu is also nice. Not many options for vegetarians but overall decent. One thing to consider, Long waits in line. It's awfully packed after 3:00 because of neighborhood schools. They should open more cash registers. Bathroom can be more clean also. The only thing they get consistently right is getting it wrong. French onion soup, for instance, no bread and no cheese. Asian chicken salad, wrong dressing, no chicken. Here's the thing, if you're a student, do not come here. They will not lower the volume on the obnoxiously, loud music that they know how to turn down, but they won't on purpose. This is a big Panera Bread on Steinway Street. Good for people looking for a place to stay for a little while. I came here craving for a salad with avocado. I got the pick 2 with a lobster roll and a small chicken salad. It costed $25! That's pretty expensive. The food took kinda long even though there was no one ahead of us. I was expecting something nice and good for the price, but our food look meh. Not to mention they looked nothing like their advertised photos. The lobster roll was more like half a roll. The salad looked really sad and stale. I came here for avocado and got 3 tinny little slides of avocado. One good thing I have to say is that the lobster on the lobster roll was real lobster chunks.
