My daughter and I love to go to Panera Bread. I got really hooked on them while we lived in Nashville, so when given the chance..I stop. We went for lunch today to enjoy some Soup and Smoothies. She opted for the Cheddar Broccoli Soup and I went with the French Onion and we both got the Green Smoothies for the extra Protein. I love the Panera App also because I can get Points that will reward me with free food and discounts. The store was clean, the staff friendly and I will definitely go back again!!!

Sorry that's the best I could do it I'll do better next time ha ha Ha

Check out their broth bowls. Excellent change of pace. Love their coffee and soda bar. And the bread of course.

They have several choices on the 3 pages of menus so it made it sort of difficult to pick my poison, so to speak. They bill themselves as modern Japanese. Not sure what that meant, but basically they play modern upbeat music and have a modern interior. They do have lunch specials during the week, but I didn't see many that were appealing as they're a combination of Chinese, Thai and Japanese dishes. They also had poke bowls for lunch, but I'm not so sure about that. Their sushi rolls appeared to be made mostly with cream cheese, which I'm not a big fan of in rolls, so those were out as well. I ended up ordering off of the dinner menu. I chose the grilled lamb chops and a side of steamed rice. I totally missed the 3rd menu which featured the sushi and specialty rolls. The lamb chops were ok, they did have a slight grilled flavor, but also another weird flavor like they weren't that fresh. Maybe customers don't order lamb chops here, as much as maybe they would at a fancy American or Mediterranean restaurant. Either way, I still ate them because I was hungry. I prefer the frenched rib chops better than the loin chop which is served here....since its a much tastier cut. In addition, it's usually more expensive. Overall, I don't see myself ever returning here since I'm also not in the area that much. Service was adequate as our drinks were refilled a couple of times and the waiter made sure to stop by and check on us.

This was our second visit to Kita for a casual lunchtime escape, and once again, it did not disappoint. In fact, my stomach was doing a little happy dance by the time we left. From the thoughtfully crafted dishes to the stylish and welcoming ambiance, Kita continues to impress. We shared three rolls, each one showcasing a playful balance of texture and flavor. The "Black and Yellow Roll" was a vibrant blend of salmon, avocado, cucumber, cream cheese, mango, and eel--sweet, creamy, and rich, yet refreshingly light. The "Fry Me a River Roll" was a decadent indulgence, with a medley of chopped fish and salmon paired with cream cheese, all deep-fried in a crispy spring roll wrapper--delightfully crisp on the outside and savory on the inside. Our favorite, though, might have been the "Surf and Turf Roll", a bold combination of panko shrimp, bacon, scallop delight, avocado, and asparagus, topped with seared ribeye and finished with a truffle soy drizzle. Every bite was a flavor bomb--luxurious and satisfying. All in all, Kita remains a go-to for a delightful sushi fix, and we're already looking forward to our next visit.

The bar staff was outstanding from start to finish. We had a few different bartenders taking care of us, and each one was attentive, friendly, and great at helping with recommendations. We ordered the New York steak and the Brussels sprouts special. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium, and the Brussels sprouts hit that ideal balance--crispy, flavorful, and just right. Everything we had was packed with flavor. The drinks didn't miss either--ice-cold beer and expertly crafted cocktails all around. If you find yourself in Charleston, this spot is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommend.

My margarita was not good at all. So bad that I didn't even drink more than half which is just a sin when it comes to expensive cocktails. My husband's chicken sandwich had about as much chicken as a tiny tender strip. He left hungry. I had the steak special. Which had good flavors (as anything covered in cheese would) but if I'm paying $60 for a medium rare steak, it's a shame that it came out medium well. Roasted cauliflower was mid, I make better at home in my air fryer. Service was good but the waitress was pretty pushy with the extras like we were insane for not ordering appetizers and not letting her bring us a glass of 4 roses. Ambiance was fine. But the experience was not worth my money, not even if it was half the cost honestly.

Tonight I was the a-hole who shows up 30 minutes before closing time but EVERYONE was very warm and welcoming!! We started with loaded hummus which also came with this like flat bread pizza that was great. For my main course I didn't know what I wanted but had it narrowed down to 2 chicken dishes. I asked my waitress for her input and she told me not to get either because "chicken is boring" okay then!! I got a Cuban sandwich which was very good. As a side I got the tomato cucumber salad which was also very good. The chef came out near the end of dinner to check on us and see how we were doing. We sat outside on the patio because it was a lovely evening so I can't really speak to the ambiance but the patio was very nice!! I'd definitely come here again I only wish my traveling partner had heeded my advice and we could have come here before our last night in town!!

I paired it with the cucumber and tomato salad delightful. The meal was surprisingly filling and I waddled out of there like a stuffed grape leaf. Oh and I had Merlot for my beverage. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. The chef stopped by the our table. Super friendly and inviting. It was a lovely evening and we sat outside. All in all, I'd call this a delicious and wonderful dining experience.
