This is an excellent Panera location. I feel like it receives more care and attention than most other Paneras. It is seen as a premier health food option in Burlington amongst a see off greasy burger joints. That's not to say Burlington doesn't have some fantastic restaurants, but most of them are not geared towards the health conscious. Awesome options here for meat lovers and vegetarians alike. Every dish is tasty and refreshing. It is quite expensive though for what you get. It's good every once in a while not all the time unless you have deep pockets. read more

I am Panera fiend so I've had it at multiple locations all over the Midwest. This is by far one of my favorite locations. The bread is always fresh, the soufflés taste like the original recipe (not the updated one even though they're both good), the service is great, and the place itself is always clean. read more

I work in fast food I understand that people have to take Breaks at certain times but, she could help for 5 minutes? Then when our cashier asked her to help she got angry and gave all of us dirty looks. Maybe she's having a bad day? Maybe she's just rude? She had on bright green nails and purple shoes. It's very welcoming, clean and a overall friendly vibe. The employees are very helpful and quick. It's a bit expensive, but we'll worth it. I had their broccoli and cheese soup with bread. Came here for a quick pit stop while taking a day trip/ road trip. I had just crossed the Illinois border and was happy that there was a Panera on my route (albeit the only Panera within a wide area of space). I had the Bacon Turkey Bravo sandwich on wheat bread and it was the world's greatest bomb!!!! It was so freaking delish! Then I feasted on the Mac and cheese and I totally scarfed it down. It really hit the spot on a cold winter day. Actually I ate my dessert first! It was something called a Brittany and it was a wonderful pastry and fantastic to eat. The manager here is excellent. He has always been helpful for me in ALL my catering orders. The staff is polite and everyone I have had contact with has been outstanding. I had never been to Panera before and was excited to try it. The cashier was very confused and made it hard to order. All I got was a BLT and a drink and it was $12 very unnecessary. Worked late and needed some Mac n Cheese. Went to Panera off of Roosevelt exit in Burlington, Ia. Ordered a small version with grilled chicken on the side to go. Got home and I only wished I took a pic. Less than half the small container had anything in it and just a few thin strips like luncheon meet of chicken on top. While I love the mac n chz, it was so not worth the price and I was still hungry do to the lack of portion in the container! Very disappointed read more

BURLINGTON, IA Love the food, but the service isn't the best. On multiple occasions, I have either had items missing from my order, or have gotten the completely wrong order that was intended for someone else. Also, this may seem not as important, but I always ordered my bagel sliced. I prefer it sliced ahead of time just because I eat at my work desk and slicing the bagel makes quite the mess. I have only gotten a bagel that was actually sliced twice. It doesn't seem important, but it just goes along with having good customer service. For as expensive a meal is from Panera for even one person, I expect my order to be delivered the same way as I ordered it. I understand mistakes happen once in a while, but like I said, it has happened numerous times. read more

Beyond disappointed with recent take out orders from here. Apparently staff can't read an order receipt. Multiple items missing, and other items added. This has happened quite a few times now. Very inconvenient to have to return back to store to retrieve forgotten items. Check your bag before you leave to make sure you got all your food items! read more
