Went to Panera at lunch today, ordered a soup. While I was waiting at the counter, I saw some orange scones at the register. There was no pricing on the bags of scones as you will see in the pictures. They were displayed on the counter between the registers in a wire rack, next to bags of choc chip cookies and individual cookies (one was pumpkin shaped; I don't recall the other). None of those four items had prices on them, but the standing sign right next to them listed only those four specific items, with prices. Orange scone $ 3.99. I selected a bag, he ran my card and I didn't take a receipt. When I asked the clerk to repeat what he said, he said it was $9.39. I picked up the sign, showed it to the clerk and told him the scones should be $3.99. He told me that was for one individual scone. The one he was referring to, was behind the glass case, on a stand, several feet to the right of the sign, along with other bakery goods. I went through with the transaction only because I used my debit card and had already been rung up, but in my opinion this was clearly deceptively false advertising. I am sure they don't really care, but they just lost my business.

    Bowl of French Onion Soup
    Marisa D.

Honestly I hate to admit this but when I'm jonesin' for some Broccoli Cheddar soup... Panera is the place I immediately think of. Once in a blue moon I crave their French Onion soup but more times than not I get the Broccoli Cheddar soup. This location was the original Panera I used to go to before they started popping up everywhere and I mean everywhere. So yes it's still Panera but this location has gotten a little odd if you will. First things first.... I don't understand the ordering from the kiosk or your table but maybe it's because I like interacting with people? I mean don't get me wrong Rapid Pick Up & Online Ordering make a group order almost impossible to screw up and super easy to order for everyone. So although my mom and I were standing online waiting for a live person to help us someone asked if we needed help with the kiosk? Wait... huh?! We weren't even looking at the kiosks. Secondly... we were eating in and Panera is known for giving you actual silverware. Unfortunately I had to go up and ask for a spoon since the spoon they gave me was plastic and had schmutz on it. I'm sorry I'm picky sometimes but it looked like it had food on it. Gross! At first the employees seemed a little hesitant to give me a regular spoon so I asked for a plastic one. At that point I wanted a spoon free of the food on it and I didn't care what it was. As long as I got a clean spoon I was getting very hungry. Finally... I don't know what was wrong but it sounded like a loud PA system humming the whole time we were there. Unfortunately for us it was super empty in Panera that day and all we heard was the hum. Oh well such is life. My French Onion soup was good and my mom's Broccoli Cheddar as she said "good. It warmed me up." We also split a really good cookie. I think it was a gluten conscious triple chocolate cookie with walnuts. Neither one of us is gluten conscious but this was an awesome cookie! Will I be back? Maybe? If I'm in the area or heading to Lord & Taylor and not wanting Blaze Fast Fire'd Pizza.

    Iced green tea - heaven
    Doug W.

Iced green tea is awesome. Although i do think this chain is a bit overrated, you need to order the right things and make it work for you. get the Iced green tea but, stay away from their chipotle chicken sandwich I hate the fake smoky taste. Most everything they serve has the same, hickory/smoke/crap flavor... if that's your thing, by all means, dig in. Now, getting down to the specifics, at the core of this place is a manager named (let's say "Judy." "Judy" doesn't care about you, your food, your comfort, or your satisfaction. Judy doesn't like what she does. Not only that, Judy isn't friendly, nor does she pretend to be or do any of the above... Judy is in the wrong line of work, and Judy deserves to be unemployed, and not compensated. The deficiencies of ill management run down to the lower level grouchy grunts, screwing up orders, spilling drinks, and simply forgetting to serve you. I went in today to order a sandwich, a simple task to some... this all went down hill the moment I stepped up to the register, placing my order a minute later than my girlfriend; I order a mozzarella panini but, wanted to add chicken (which I have done a half a million times before) for some reason this was confusing, and a big problem.. apparently a "no-no" but she could put some on the side... gee thanks would ya? So, anyway, the girl comes back, drops my green tea, and I am left waiting... WAITING as my girlfriend finishes what she has ordered and they have simply NOT made my sandwich. OK so I ask the fella what's up.. and what happens? JUDY asks the kid, what my problem is... MY PROBLEM? my problem is I havent gotten my order in the last 20 minutes, my drink is dripping from my foot, and you are an ugly, rude, incapable manager, and an awful excuse of a human being, THAT'S my problem... The most sorry person in the whole matter was the girl who couldn't speak but two words English and could tell I was more than upset... so she gave me an extra piece of bread... thank you. in conclusion, if JUDY is there... I will never be. Oh, the sandwich was cold, on hard and tasteless bread, and the entire restaurant was a filthy mess. Slowest panera I've been to but close to work. Gotta be there at the right time and hope this bad experience doesn't always happen (it doesn't)

    Kristy F.

So to be fair, I haven't been to Panera in a long time. And I only used to go for lunch at work because it was convenient. I went today with my boyfriend and it's a totally different experience than I remembered. Granted, it's nothing life changing and the food will not be even close to the best of anything you've ever had. But now, you order at a kiosk, and you can customize everything. Then, You no longer have to wait at a counter like at the deli, someone brings you your food. And it's served on nice glass plates and bowls. It's definitely still just soups, salads and sandwiches but is definitely a casual date spot possibility now.

Service was outstanding. I sat with family and enjoyed a simple tea and toast today. My sister-in-law order the Matcha with blueberry, she let me grab a sip and it was very refreshing, perfectly balanced blueberry, it was sweet but not too sweet paired with the Matcha tea. Not only delicious but very pleasing to the eye it's beautifully displayed in their clear cup. This place feels upscale, trendy. The food options are plentiful. Can't wait to return. It's a place to stop in and check out.

I thought it would be dead, but to my surprise it was still pretty busy! Its a small little place, but still a few options to sit down and eat or just sip your java. Bonus points for excellent music choice, very indie singer/songwriter style that made for a nice relaxing atmosphere. Starting with the reason you're probably going here, the coffee. I got a peanut butter latte, and my girlfriend got one of their winter seasonal choices in the ginger bread latte. both served hot. The PB was very smooth and lightly sweet, but the ginger bread one in my opinion takes home the trophy this time. As for lunch we did their sandwich/wrap and a salad combo, which as far as I am concerned is the best deal I've ever seen, Panera eat your heart out. I got the buffalo chicken wrap with a side caesar salad, and my girlfriend got the fig & brie sandwich, with a side peach and avocado salad. The buffalo wrap was nice and light with grilled chicken and a buffalo sauce that seemed almost more like a vinaigrette and the caesar was about as classic as it gets. The fig and brie was an unexpected plus for me and eats almost like a caprese sandwich, while the peach and avocado salad was super fresh, fruit in salad doesn't quite do it for me personally, so we split the trophy for our lunches. My only "major" downside is that the food is served on wooden paddles, I personally like a plate, but that is more of me just being a nit-picker more than anything else. Parking is pretty ample with spots both in the front and the back of the attached lot, but be careful when you're pulling up the first time, you're bound to miss it, I know I almost did!

The place is big inside, with some nice outdoor seating with games for the kids. Service is quick and friendly. But let's get to the important part - the lobster rolls. I've been burned before, shelling out north of $30 for a roll and being severely disappointed with the lobster count. But at Jackson Hall they deliver! These things are HUGE! I went with the lobster bomb this time with crab, and it was great with the bisque. I wish the bread was more like a sourdough though. The food here is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! My wife and I shared The Lobster Bomb, and we each ordered a Connecticut Lobster Roll. The portions? They were HUGE!!! We both had plenty of leftovers to take home (and for a guy like me who can pack it in...that's saying SOMETHING!!!) The service? Jamie P was so sweet and kind. My wife who is Puerto Rican said Jamie was very amable. Absolutely true!! The menu is loaded with so many different and pleasing options. It's going to take several (and I mean SEVERAL) trips back here to try everything that's on the menu. Solid 15 out of 10 stars for Jackson Hall!! Can't wait to go back.

Quite honestly it's a small restaurant in a strip mall that I would compare to a takeout Chinese restaurant, however they have about six tables and a wonderful waitress named Masi who provided great service with a smile. We ordered Shrimp Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles with Shrimp and both dishes were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. I typically don't eat spicy food so I asked for mild seasoning on drunken noodles and they were a bit spicy for me but absolutely delicious. I tasted my sister's pad thai and could not believe how good it was. The next time we go, I will definitely be ordering that pad thai. If you're thinking about going out for Thai food and you're in the area, definitely give this place a try. You can tell by the reviews that they have great food; the prices are super affordable and they even offer a great weekday lunch special for $13-$16 for a variety of dishes, a spring roll and a soda.
