I don't usually have a problem but this time was a tad different. Not greeted at all and noticed right away the couple in front of us were distraught and seemed as though the employees could have cared less. Even when the manager came out nothing had changed. Only when I expressed my annoyance out loud did the girl help us and started apologizing and saying thank you. They buzzed us before our food was even ready and the bread bowl was definitely lacking soup and no one asked us what sides we wanted, she just assumed. I love Panera. The bread bowl with chicken wild rice is so good and ordering is usually pretty easy since I always get the same. But this time was annoying. read more

NEVER AGAIN! The building has not been maintained. Ceiling tiles had water spots. The flooring and walls were in poor condition. I attempted to order soup with a baguette. I was told they were out of baguettes. My guest attempted to order a bread bowl. They were told they were out of bread bowls. We were both offered dinner rolls. We were never informed our meals were ready. We noticed them at the counter under the warming lights. When we picked them up there wasn't any bread. We inquired & were told they were out of dinner rolls. We were each offered a slice of bread. We contacted the corporate offices who made no attempt to want our business. read more

I had a bad experience here today. If you do mobile ordering, you CAN NOT use the drive thru. It makes zero sense at all. I was sick today and ordered soup and a smoothie. They acted so galled and affronted that I had no idea I couldn't order on mobile then pick up my food through drive through. What a stupid rule. They cancelled my order. But they should have cancelled it and rerung it up so I would still have had my order. I'm not a complainer but left very irritated. Bad business. Besides that, I like Panera. read more

I really think that this location is one of the best Paneras in the region, in terms of how long you wait and their wonderful customer service. However, the baked goods and baguettes at this location disappoint every single time I've visited. I work close, and I go on a fairly consistent basis, and the last few months are awful. The bread is either far, far too dark or too light. When the lady in front of me asked if the baguettes were "burned this time too" before ordering, I knew it wasn't just me. I'll keep coming back-I love the staff here. But they need to get some consistency to their baking, and in the meantime, I'll stay away from the sandwiches and baguettes. read more

I ordered tomato soup and bread (focaccia, as they were out of both bread bowls and baguettes) at the drive thru and got home only to find out I didn't get the bread. Don't know if they suddenly ran out of focaccia and forgot to tell me or if they just didn't feel like giving my half of my order but this location has failed me. read more

I'm so disappointed in Panera bread in general because they are consistently out of bread bowls and that's the reason we go to this restaurant vs. somewhere else and that happens at all locations, but this review is for the Springbrook location. I ordered online and had someone pick it up for me who went to the drive thru. There was no word online that it had to be picked up in the store. When he got to the window after waiting he was told he had to wait til all the cars had gotten their orders and then park and go in and get the order. And then the cashier was done speaking to him because she didn't care about the mix up and had nothing more to say. This was my first time ordering online. All they would've had to do was specify it needed to be picked up inside. Why have a drive thru?? if someone doesn't want to get out of the car they can't use it anyways if they preorder their food. He went in a picked it up as it was all ready to go. The sad thing is the person at the drive thru wasn't capable of doing that for him! Horrible customer service and when I tried calling twice it rang and then disconnected me. What a waste of time! read more

I frequent this location after getting of my bus across the street at the Northtown Transit Center. My food is always prepared right as they get my mobile order. Once I get there not 5 minutes later it is hot and ready to go. Whenever I don't know where to go this Panera is always my go to as the employees are so nice and helpful. I don't typically write reviews, but the service I've received lately has been pretty bad. I order delivery pretty consistently to my place of employment. In the last week and a half, they have left out parts of my order twice. It was not a big deal the first time and the manager took care of it then. Today, the guy arrives and tells me he forgot my drink and he'll be back, he failed to mention he also forgot my muffin and never returned. I tried calling them twice and it kept ringing until it disconnected. Will not be ordering from them again. They are too inconsistent. read more

LOVE Panera. This franchise has it all: healthy options, quality ingredients, cozy nooks, a calming color palette and solid marketing. At this particular restaurant I was greeted by a friendly worker who held the door for me and my kids. He also engaged in some friendly conversation and wished us a good day. Later I saw him so the same with other customers. The manager fetched our order for my husband and later helped me buss the table. The food was delicious. With two adults and two small children, two "pick two" deals, a couple of pastries and sides cost us $35. That is a heck of a lot better food than what we would get for the same price at a fast food chain. When we walked in, my five year old son almost cried because he wanted a cheeseburger. Halfway through the meal he said, "this is the best taco ever! It's way better than a burger!" Thanks, Panera for making healthy food delicious and being über friendly to boot. read more

I went there today and got a mac and cheese and it was cold. The employees seemed to have bad attitudes. When ever I go there its either bad attitudes, inapporiate comments, or the staff are just loud. I am very disappointed with the management. I was also disappointed with how wheneveri eat there the sliverware is always dirty. The cashiers dont seem to inform the customers if they run out of product. read more

I'd say this wasn't the worst. I walked in and was greeted by the 'do it yourself' ordering machines. I had a pretty easy time ordering everything. The only confusing bit was that the machine didn't let you select between more than two drinks, but I'm sure they were customizable. I grabbed one of the little buzzer things and sat down. The wait was a little under 2 minutes, and the food looked good. However, the tortellini was cold. Not cold like "slightly cooler than normal", I'm saying it was cooler than room temperature. The center was slightly more warm, but I'm pretty sure they prepared the dish before I got there and let it sit for 15 minutes before giving it out. I was then very hesitant to try the tomato soup because, as I'm sure you know, that's supposed to be very hot. I was pleasantly surprised, however, and it was just the right not-going-to-burn-my-tongue temperature. The bread was amazing, I wish there was more of it because it could've saved the meal. The aesthetic of the place is amazing. It's bigger on the inside than I thought, with a cute carpeted area near a fire, pleasant looking seating, and a cozy atmosphere. All in all, I didn't hate my time there, but for the money I paid, I didn't expect my main dish to be cold. Might come back, but also might only get the tomato soup. read more

Never been to Panera Bread, I got a chipotle chicken sandwich with avocado and autumn squash soup. (Recommended by the cashier). The sandwich was about filling as a Mc Chicken, and couldn't taste the chipotle in the slightest. The chicken looked almost grey and was very dry. The soup looked and tasted like warm sweet honey mustard. Had the consistency of baby food. Will never go back, don't waste your time and money there. Would rather go to McDonald's any day over Panera. read more

Drive thru always seems to take over 15 mins. Inconvenience to morning commuters who think they can stop and get breakfast and make it to work on time also. Workers are rude to you after waiting a long time in drive thru. I thought the concept of drive thru was to speed up the process and almost like drive thru and get food. First the good thing: The souffle was really good, even if it looked really dark brown on top, and appeared to have been overbaked. Caution: Watch what the staff are putting in your bag for a to go order, since you don't want to leave and find out later you got something different than you ordered. I do watch closely, and I still have a hard time getting what I have ordered. They need a better method of keeping track of what is ordered, at least until it has been prepared and bagged and given to the customer. In the meantime, watch closely and check your bag before leaving and be prepared to go back and ask them to give you what you ordered, if you're able to take the time to hassle with requesting a correction. Maybe if they had a paper notepad check list they could work from that, but even then, if the people selecting what you ordered don't know what the products are, that won't help. More training is needed. And don't tell the customer that there are fresh soft bagels available and then refuse to give them any, insisting instead to give them the ones that have become hard while sitting out uncovered, as everything does at this bakery. read more

Very, VERY disappointed with the service at this location. I've lost track of how many times we've gone in, hoping to buy sourdough bread to bring home, and they have been 'sold out.' We were told that if we ordered online the night before, it would GUARANTEE that we would be able to get bread the following day. Yet, no less than THREE TIMES now, we've ordered online and shown up at the pickup time the following day, only to be told that - you guessed it - they were sold out of sourdough bread. Our online orders were already PAID FOR. So essentially, they took OUR bread, which we'd already paid them for, and turned around and sold it to someone else?! We've been refunded, but the frustration and dissatisfaction with the service has us nearly to the point where we no longer want to do business with these people. And to top it all off, today when we tried (and failed) again to pick up a pre-paid online order at the store, we were told that they only get two loaves of sourdough bread in each day. Get them in? So much for advertising that bread is baked fresh on the premises daily! Disgusted. Absolutely disgusted. read more
