What a huge disappointment to say the least. During this pandemic we are trying to support local restaurants to keep them in business and to help keep people working. We have ordered curbside 3 times from this location and 2 out of 3 times the order was incorrect. Today both salads were drenched with the dressing instead of being in separate containers, and 3 of our items were missing. When I called to get a refund I was told that could only happen in the store. Hmm. what is the purpose of curbside, no contact service? Since I had to go back I ask to just get the items. Had to wait 15 minutes after calling once we got there. And while waiting, saw one customer without a mask go inside. Last time going to this place! read more

My husband and I have just recently discovered Panera Bread. We really like the atmosphere and this location had a really huge table near the entrance that easily fit the (8) of us and might even fit (12)! We had an Autumn Squash Soup which was very favourable but too sweet for my tastebuds (I got use to it after the first several bites and then the flavour was able to come out) . The (fall) seasonal choices are very yummy. Enjoying the Fuji Apple Salad and Frontega Chicken Panini. The salad was fresh and crisp (not doused with dressing which is great) and the sandwich was perfectly toasted. Chipotle mayo? One cannot go wrong. I'm all for the hearty soups, crispy paninis, and tasty pastries that Panera Bread is known for. This location has ample seating and the employees are attentive, although I wish that the food quality across the menu was more consistent. I stopped by for an early lunch with my friend and decided to step out of my usual soup in a bread bowl comfort zone and tried out the soba noodle bowl with chicken. As a major fan of anything with noodles in it, I was excited to try something new. The broth ended up being a little bit too salty for me, as I could only taste the heavy umami flavor, but I certainly enjoyed the chicken and noodles that were cooked exactly right. The soups, alas, are still my favorite item on the menu. My friend also wanted to try the soba noodles and requested that the roasted mushrooms be left out, but unfortunately the mix of vegetables are pre-packaged. That was a little bit disappointing, as she had to order something else and she often enjoys noodles just as much as I do. Panera Bread always makes great food, and this place is no exception. What really knocks this place outta the park is the staff. The cashiers are super friendly and greet you right when you walk in. The folks on the sandwich/salad line are crazy fast -I'm usually in during the lunch rush and I'm out the door with my order within 3-5 minutes after placing it. They're not only fast, they make it just the way you ordered it -they've never messed up my order. If you work in the area, this is a great choice for lunch! read more

I love this panera. The staff is always nice, my food is always made perfectly. Also, at some of the other locations, it takes forever to get your food. At this one however even when super busy I haven't had to wait more than 5 minutes ever. LOVE the green tea and the big kid grilled cheese. Definitely a fan of the broccoli cheddar soup as well. I could eat their baguettes for days, if my diet would allow it. read more

This is by far the slowest Panera I've ever been to In My Life I ordered two breakfast sandwiches and waited 20 minutes to receive them. I watch people that came in after myself get their stuff before me then when I finally get my food and I get to my house my wrong. I came to this Panera before and they were really slow but I let that past but this is my second time coming here and the same thing happened so I guess I'll have to drive a little further to a different Panera next time. read more

Can you bring me a dozen orange scones? Seriously it doesn't matter what i'm coming in for I always HAVE TO HAVE an orange scone. They are moist tender, and have little bits of orange peel in the scone and in the icing. It it not one of those dried out hard as rock things you get at other places. I don't get here as much as I like but they always have good food, good service, and if you wanna be lazy read a book, or write a book you just hunker down in a booth or table and relax. I have seen many a person on a laptop or taking in a novel here. Basic coffee refill are self-help and free. Tons of great pastries to choose from, as well as bagels and spreads, great guilt free salad options and some indulgent salad/sandwich combos too. I would also recommend getting their little reward card thats FREE. I have gotten free sodas, free coffees, free cookie, a free scone. Their rewards are random but a nice little perk when you get to the register and they say "oh your combo was $1 off today or you get a free cookie" I wish there was one closer to me or one in the direction I go to work near Aurora Mall. read more

This panera absolutely SUCKS. The telltale sign should've been the 5 employees near the counter yet after a few minutes of standing there NONE of them came to help. I was, at most, 10 feet away from the cluster of them. Meh service is expected from fast food, so I guess that's excusable now. Food came out quick. Was that a good thing? Not really. Soup was piping hot, like let it sit for a solid 10 minutes before it can touch your face. It was also incredibly runny compared to other Paneras. The BLT had only one slice of avocado. So sad. Biggest reason I like going to panera is because their water quality is awesome. tastes like that 99.9% purified water. Not this panera! The water here tastes worse than tap. And if you like southern style sweet tea, go here! I'm a much bigger fan of Paneras typical perfectly, naturally sweetened iced green tea, but this was like drinking tap water, simple syrup, and a dash of green tea. Dining room was practically empty when I arrived, as well as through most of my visit, but it wasn't until I was getting ready to leave that several of the dirty tables were finally being attended to. read more

I love the Panera chain but this store is not up to par with the others when it comes to customer service and wait time. I've been here three times and each time waited at least three times as long as any other Paneras I have gone to. I came here at 6:00 a.m. before my hike last week to get a bagel sandwich for some fuel. The place was completely empty as they had just opened and the girls were prepping for the day. I ordered my sandwich, went to the restroom, came out and sat down for a while. After about 5 minutes I got restless and walked up to the counter to see who was working on my sandwich. I did not see anyone doing so. I asked one of the girls about my order. She looked very confused and started asking around. None of the girls had begun work on the order. I had to wait another 10 minutes before receiving my sandwich. I then was just in time to hit traffic on my way to the mountains. The food quality here is fantastic as it is at every Panera but something is up with their communication and food prep line. Go the one across from Children's Hospital on Colfax. They were finishing up a few to go orders so I asked if either of those was ours and the employee just looked at it blankly and then walked away to put one of them on the to go shelf without a word to me. When she came back I asked again and said it was ordered last night and she responded that they had zero orders from last night. Started working with another employee as well and they looked up my confirmation number for a few minutes and finally realized it was one of the ones I'd asked about initially...just a crappy experience and bad, dry food. read more

It doesn't get better than this for Panera. Popped in on a whim to grab some breakfast reward after a great morning workout. I was greeted by the most welcoming staff of women. Polite, kind and... they just make you feel at home as strange as that sounds. I received my perfect breakfast sandwich from another extremely kind women, given a great big smile and instead of yelling out "ALAN ORDER UP" like at every other Panera she said "here you go alan. I really hope you enjoy it". I just wanted to give her a great big hug and say "thank you!". Little stuff goes a long way these days... how this place isnt 5 stars blows me away. The customer service alone deserves it. I hope their manager takes good care if these great people. They are all diamonds in the rough. When you find employees like this you have to do everything in your power to keep them happy. Because in turn... the will continue to make your customers happy. This is the third chance I've given this Panera. First time, my office ordered and my food wasn't included in the delivery. We call them and they give us a hard time about bringing it, asking why we can't just come get it. Um, because we ordered delivery. Second time, my order is wrong. Today, I order for delivery because my coworkers and I can't leave because of meetings. The delivery time comes and goes and nothing. I finally get a text that it's on it's way, now about half hour late. It still doesn't show up. I call and get put on hold for like ten minutes for them to say it already went out. I'm like ok, but that was like half hour ago and you're ten minutes away. They put me back on hold and just leave me on hold. I call back and they assure me it's on it's way and that I won't be charged. Ok, fine. It finally shows up, now over an hour late and guess what? My order is wrong. Incredibly small sandwich not very good and Incredibly overpriced all this and I had to wait a half-hour definitely one of the worst places I've ever eat. So I went to the Panera Bread on Iliff and Peoria for one of their frosted cookies. They had let their stock run out. It was 3 pm so I settled for one of the two chocolate chippers that were left and a lemon cookie. I didn't find out until I got home that it was hard as a rock. I've eaten here before and it's always been an ok experience but today was terrible. We ordered rapid pick up so we could eat at home. We've never ordered rapid pickup before and when we asked the kid at the register he told us to wait at the pick up area. We stood there for a while before another worker asked if we were waiting for an order. He then tells us that rapid orders are actually in another area of the restaurant. We picked up our food and left, only to find once we were home that our order of chicken tortellini pasta was missing. We went back and asked the kids prepping the orders about it and they proceeded to tell us that they had run out of Chicken Tortellini Pasta and just decided not to say anything. One kid remarked, "Sorry, we probably should've told you." They then offered to make a substitution, but once I received it I realized they'd still forgotten the side baguette. I went back to ask for it, only to be ignored multiple times by another staff member in training. I get it, you're training, but couldn't you at least get someone else's attention to help me?? I had to go around the corner and try to get the attention of another staff member to get my missing baguette. I can honestly say that I will not be eating here again. read more

I honestly cannot believe how awful this Panera Bread was! I am especially disappointed because I work at a Panera Bread and I came in on my day off just because I love the coffee and environments that Panera offers. I only came to this one because I was with a friend and it was closer to her house. I walked in at 6 pm and the first thing I noticed was the fact that the pots had been sitting out since 3. When I ordered my food I ordered coffee and asked for a fresh brew of the Light Roast. I waited almost 20 minutes and then went up to another cashier to ask again for a fresh pot. I was a bit irritated already because I had to ask twice but also because I had already finished my food. I kept checking to see if the girl had put some new pots out and at 7:15 I left. I never was able to get my coffee nor had anyone actually bothered to brew another. The worst part of it all was the fact that I know for a fact that a fresh pot only costs one cup of coffee to be sold and the rest is pure profit. The next complaint that I had was the fact that people were waiting in line when there was no reason to be waiting in line. No one worked the dining room to clear platters or ask how everything was. This is clearly a store that should be avoided! read more

Went here on Sunday with my parents-in-law. Had the Breakfast Power Sandwich(egg, cheese, ham on whole wheat toast) with a hazelnut coffee. My wife had one of the bagels with honey walnut cream cheese and orange juice and my parents-in-law had a bagel with raspberry cream cheese and one of the pastries with coffee and orange juice. No one had any complaints about their food. I really enjoyed the power sandwich. I wanted the light roast coffee, but the carafe was empty so I settled on the hazelnut blend. The coffee was very smooth with a subtle flavor of hazelnut and I thought it was quite good. Both cream cheese flavors were very good and were highly recommended by my family. The staff seemed to handle the busy rush very well and I only had to wait about 5 minutes for my sandwich. The pastries and bagels took considerably less time. read more

I usually love Panera bread but this was so disappointing. Boyfriend is post-op day 1 and all he wanted was some soup. Ordered ahead for three soups (including one bread bowl) and a bacon Mac and cheese to give him options for comfort food. Bacon Mac and cheese was just Mac and cheese (no bacon, without a fricken heads up!!! sad face!!!!) and they were out of bread bowls and unwilling to give an extra piece of baguette when I asked for the troubles. Either grossly understaffed or poorly trained. I'm not sure which. The wait is terrible and if you think ordering ahead of time helps, you're wrong. Ordered a supposed rapid pick up which wasn't in the bin and after 20 minutes asked about it. Piles of bags behind the counter of delivery and rapids together and one girl running around on the register and handling those outside orders. During a lunch rush, all registers should be used, not one. Or at least have one on register and one handling outside orders. Not fair to the cashier and patrons to have just one register going. This is pretty consistent when I go whether dining in or carrying out. The only saving grace is that the cashiers still manage to keep a positive attitude and friendly, professional demeanor despite being stretched thin. Back to my rapid pickup order. Crispani, Crispani, Crispani, I love the Pesto Chicken Crispani but they are all good. The bad news is that they only take orders after 4pm and it does take about 15min so be prepared to wait. I also love the Chicken Tomesto sandwich, yummmm. I am not even a bread fan but I still love the food here. Try the Salmon salad too. Very refreshing. They also have free Wi-Fi. read more
